Wednesday, November 06, 2024 . . . I propose a "Nth Generation Air Dominance(NGAD)"; the technology exists today or should commence development of a Fighter vehicle(tier-one) with the capability of launching from ground level, say an Airport, and continuing into Space(i.e., ELO). This would be a three-tier development package where whereby a second-level space Drone(tier-two) is also capable of terrestrial takeoff and space-penetration capability; its purpose would be refueling and weaponizing tier-one; it would also, of course, be capable of defending itself into space-penetration with assist from terrestrial fighter escorts into space-penetration. The "third tier" would likely be a larger vehicle that would service both (tier-one and tier-two) while also providing defensive support for itself and the two subordinate tiers; any additional refinements to this initial configuration would be entirely discretionary.
The airframe isn't the focus for capabilities, it is just a mounting for the avionic capabilities. The avionics packages are always updated with the latest capabilities to provide an edge for the ear fighter

@@fretsward2225 At least use better insults. Also originality doesn't matter in this case, ALL of Russian Flankers are worse than Chinese ones.
Ive used this voice for a video before lol. It's a good one
I fuckin love the Super Hornet
It's big. It can't be cheap. How many will we end up with? I believe that the Navy is the largest air force amongst the US service branches.
Nope, Army has more aircraft than all others combined.
Other side of the coin for me!!!!
@@patrickmccrann991Army’s aircraft air mostly rotor. USN is the largest fixed wing air force in the world…Second to the USAF of course.

Still Comes up Short to Bad Ass F-14.

I am F4 and never had any exposed on F18....i wish i had...i had my fun time with F4...
Yeah, China and Russia are TERRIFIED. But this an excellent historical post. And I like this AI narrator!
the only thing that will be scaring them is the f22 flying undetected in their airspace
Will our airforce be upgraded to block 3. Seeing were surrounded by ocean, the Royal Australian air force is based more on the us navy rather than airforce. The legacy hornet replaced the mirage ii in 87, and then eventually super hornet and F-35.

US jets are legendary 🫡
Russia and China do not do "terrified". Though I imagine the trepidation of their respective fighter wings being informed that they will be in combat against North American F22s anf F35 might give cause for "momentary concern". F18 is an excellent package, in it's domain, though.
russia basically owns that now
The only reason they spec up the F/A-18 Super Hornet is because the 6th Gen is delayed, F-22 is limited in numbers, and F-35 can't perform well as a dogfighter...
No it's solely because the 6th gen fighter isn't expected to even enter service until the 2030s, and that's intentional, not because of delays.
@@dumdumbinks274
Ah yes, "intentional". Exactly what the US DoD says, event about bad news. Spin it into something that maintains public appearance 🤣
@@joebloggs24 Lol. So delays that were only announced this year somehow predate decisions made several years ago to upgrade Super Hornets?

You'd be surprised just how much information is withheld from the public by Government Departments. What you think you know is only the very tip of the underlying iceberg.
Excellent
Infrared search and track system should be internal and not an external pod. The F-14 should have been replaced by the YF 23.
The F-14 was a Navy bird and the YF-23 was competing for an Air Force contract. Just a side note, the Navy aircraft structures are beefed up to address the rigors of carrier landings.
Can one wear moccasins while flying the super hornet? If so, sign me up!
Deliveries to Canada began in 1982.
No it doesn't but that's okay... It's still pretty cool
Why is it that the us want to fight russia an china ,,
They don’t they just want to be ready in case on decides to go to war with the U.S
This sounds like Mark Felton narrating
I think Australia is the only besides the USN to operate growlers, I am pretty sure
What about the F-14 tomcat. You said the navy did not use because of expense??
Nice !
I would like to see a comparison between the F-18 Super Hornet block 3 and the Russian made SU-35 and SU-34 multi role fighters
A hamburger in any package is still a hamburger. Russian pilots get a fraction of the flight time of US pilots. Plus the SU-34/35 tech is old, not upgraded like the block 3 Hornet or the F-15EX...Even the F-22 tech, altho old, is light years further along than other Russia or China. The F-35 is Cat5+....
@@OldGlaseye-gf7si This is incorrect. Su-35S has relatively new electronics, the F-22 in-fact, is the most outdated out of any modern U.S Fighter, being the only one without HMD, no EOTS in-so requiring 2 EOTS pod, limited upgradability, very limited DATALINK. Its advantages are kinematic performance and a great radar, but it stops right there. On the other hand, China has severely caught up, and have implemented a lot of technologies into their jets. The newer J-16s are now on-par with the F-15EX.
Great analysis. I have subscribed to your channel. So far, you’ve done excellent work work. While I realize your channel is not geopolitical , you’re doing a very good job.🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
i thought F/A-18 Super Hornet was discontinued i don't know who to believe anymore
@@aaronpingol1566 The F/A-18 E/F and G models are in production still.
The Hornet was discontinued. The Super Hornet is an entirely different aircraft.
The Super Hornet is roughly 20% larger than the initial A/B/C/D models. Both aircraft are still referred to as Hornet and share the F/A-18 designation.@@dumdumbinks274
I got bored from the beginning because when i saw there was going to be a new plane i was waiting to here about a stealth version of the F18 but it only talked about the history of the plane
How when an aircraft carrier can’t get close enough due to Chinas carrier killer missiles? Air refueling won’t happen in contested airspace and the legs of this plane is quite limited
American here. Yeah, Russia and China are not afraid of anything short of us hitting the big red button, and certainly not a platform designed half-a-century ago with some newish comforts like a decent radar, radio and countermeasures system.
Good video so far but must comment F-117 is pronounced F one seventeen not one hundred seventeen. To the trained ear it sounds like saying the F one four Tomcat.
Canada finally an attack helicopter. Griffon will have 50 cal (12.7 mm) machine gun , 7.62 mm self-defence machine gun, with the CH-148 capable of firing Air and ship-launched lightweight torpedo. Canada should keep their fleet of F-18A/B and with the F-35sA in the future, Canada needs at least one medium size carrier. F-18s speed mach 1.8 and range is perfect a big country like Canada. F-35 mach 1.1 doesnt match the speed of the F-18.
From :33 to :39 you show a Mig 29 being towed?
Whew the bots are strong with this one. 😅
The Russians and Chinese are definitely terrified. Martians too !! The main thing is to believe in it, eh !! 🤡😂
....sure, sure 😅🤣.
No matter how much shit you add to an f18 it will never compare to the f14 tomcat.

A fighter with a airframe from 1978. Yeaa I think Russia is terrified (not). LOL
The airframe isn't the focus for capabilities, it is just a mounting for the avionic capabilities. The avionics packages are always updated with the latest capabilities to provide an edge for the ear fighter
@@MichaelRoberts-t7c This is the biggest misstake the US made. Same with the F-16. Instead of building new gen 5 fighters they upgrade the old ones. They dosen´t stand a chance against canardwing or thrustvectoring fighter. Look at the Red flag exercise. JAS gripen won against F-16 with the numbers 5-0 5-1 5-0.
Your comment is interesting but your missing out regarding the logistics support for any weapon system. You need spares to support equipment in the field and that's not cheap. Many are upset with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) but wars can be controlled by with holding spare parts. New aircraft designs are taking too long to field now, the F-35 contract was awarded in 1997 and it is still not fully functional. Not only is new designs expensive but the support, repair manuals, tooling, test equipment, etc., and spares all need to be in the yearly budget. @@Neo-xn7vc
@@Neo-xn7vc This is false, and on a red-flag exercise, the U.S Forces always has their hands tied. Also, they are building new 5th gens.
@@Neo-xn7vc the reason many aircraft in the US inventory are upgraded vs replaced with the latest shiny fighter many times is cost. The new aircraft will cost more, development for starters, the cost of training, aircraft spares for support, the additional requirement for support equipment to work on the aircraft and the components, factor in the cost of publications to detail the repair concept for a three level maintenance currently in place (Organizational, Intermediate and Depot). All this is in place now on older aircraft so upgrades make more sense.

You people are comedians. Just watched the SU57 dancing in the sky at the Chinese air show. USA is totally outgunned.
I’ll bite, your comment is comedic, especially basing your opinion on an air show maneuver you’d never execute in combat. Stealth utilizing BVR technology dominate the sky’s. Outgunned? Like bringing the most advanced pistol to a sniper fight. Issue with the Su-57 is it’s dead before it knows it’s in a fight.
@@BlufalconGaming Well Americans were laughing at the fact that the Russian jet was rough and ready much like in combat American jets would be all shiny. I never said anything about what that pilot did and combat you did. I said outgunned because the Russian planes are like a mule and the American planes are like a donkey/ass. American planes are too expensive and too complicated. Russian planes are built to be repaired anywhere. That is why Russia is winning in Ukraine because they know what they are doing. As an example, Russia has Putin The Great and USA has Trump The Fool. :)
