The majority of those print head videos online are absolute rubbish - this one is complete and utter shite - one big dislike from me - first of all not all XP series are the same, he should have made it clear what model of XP this was for, and it certainly does not apply for other models. For instance I have the XP-620, and it is far easier to remove than this - this is one of the worst videos I have seen so far....................................
To sum up the entire seven min of wasted time, unplug the power cord, take the printer mechanism out, clean it with a mysterious fluid then put it back, all while looking in a black hole.
This video should be viewed at 0.25 normal speed. However , a spotlight was needed to see what on earth was going on. The originator did not provide any commentary; nor enable computer-generated captions( which would have been irrelevant in this case ). I strongly recommend, to the maker of this useless saga, that he looks at a video of ' how to make a good youtube video ' I rate this 1/10.
wow very nice. I have a xp-4100 near new. I installed 1 xl black ink (Amazon). A week or two later the other 3 were very low. I installed those 3 (amazon) and now my black ink is clogged or something. Spent a day reading and cleaning the printhead via the printer software. I can get it working but not for long then back to printing only half the black. Got a new printer, now I'm wondering how to get that printhead off so I can clean it really well get it working. I guess this xp-4100 doesn't like that black amazon ink. I'm pretty good at tearing things up. I was wondering is that the only place the ink goes? There's no hoses or hidden reservoir? Thanks
This started out really good until you started putting obht hand into the video under the dark lid and doin things wichi were difficult to see as you wer enot showing what you were using beforoe you used them. sucks that it did that.
I would have found 7 minutes of solid black more useful than this shite - this is a sad excuse of a how to video, and so far one of the worst I have seen so far on RUclips.
Bro we came here to learn and you did this shit like you were trying to set the speed record XD
Good audio description. Very helpful if I were a deaf mute. YOU NEVER HEARD OF SUB-TEXT!

I need a light.
It looks like he knows what he is doing, but I dont think this is for an average printer user.
Useful...but is it a race?!?😃
it is best to just delete this video or re-do it. this is just broadcasting crap.
Agree .. this is a useless video at best.

If I could what you're doing.
What do you use for cleaner????
Probably carbon technacloride, available from Wal Mart and sold as brake cleaner.
CAN'T see exactly what you are doing, too dark. Have XP-310.
Thanks man... Quite useful...
Too dark, can't even see what your doing!
Your video is a waste of time, you're showing nothing.
Yeah this is so unreal I almost think that this is a prank, this can't be so horrible, and the 21 people who liked it LMAO I think they were drunk :P
Terrible, could not see anything, to fast and too dark.
what a pile of RUBBISH

Very poor quality filming as I can not see what are you doing. Your hands prevent me to see and filming badly
That was rubbish. It’s a vid…couldn’t see a thing!
You can’t learn nothing with this. Waste of time.
Well. At least I know it can be done. Beyond that, this was a pretty bad vid.
Too bad we can't see anything
LOL !
