This did it! Thank You...
That’s great 😀
where did you buy the fluid?
118ink.com
This worked for me as the black wouldn't print. The other colours were fine. The black was magically 'cured' but then suddenly the magenta wouldn't print! It HAD been fine! And putting the tube onto it gave resistance and the fluid would NOT go in. You mention resistance and say STOP if this happens. But then what?
This video just helped me heaps!! My Epson printer has a self cleaning option but it just wasn't working properly, after doing this and doing a nozzle check came out perfect
That’s great, thanks very much for the very positive comment.
Think I'll do this on my printer, just want to say that not only was the video helpful but I appreciate seeing how you answer everyone who asks a question clearly and politely, small things like that build perception and let people know that they can trust your advice and products. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Thanks very much for the kind message. Would you please subscribe to my channel 😀
@@Theinkrefillexperts still watching in 2021 😁 awesome video! Thank you hun
yes yes yes, just got the kit, did the clean and now i can print again! thank you very much, pleasantly surprised :)
You are very welcome 😀👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you so so much. I DID IT!!! I didn't have to ask the teenagers!!! I did it myself and I am useless xxxx
That’s great !! What problem did you have ?
Thank you VERY MUCH for the BRILLIANT tip of cutting the power when the print head is out of its resting position! I followed your advice, and was able to clean the ink pad underneath, and the adjacent areas.
That’s great 🤩
I was so close to scrapping my Epson scanner/ printer as the head clean process wasn't working. I have only recently learned the heads can be cleaned like this. All makes sense now. Good tutorial. Thank you.
Hello John, you are very welcome.
i have EPSON L310, in the middle of printing progress, the black ink get clogged, after clean one or two times, it normal in the beginning, but get clogged again in the middle, does my headprint got damaged, or just blocked, i used your solution once but not leave overnight, and the situation still same, please respon, thanks Printer Refresh
i am sorry for the english
Hello , I would try again and see how it is. It does sound blocked , make sure the fluid is warm but not hot.
Excellent video. Informative and clear steps for improved printing. I had always thought EPSON was another name for "SPAWN OF SATAN" but you've given me hope. Many thanks!
Thanks very much 😀
I have a BX310FN epson printer. Is this kit ok for that specific model? Thanks
Hello , yes it should work well.
I had a totally blocked black print head, not 1 speck of ink was getting thru. I had my doubts about this working but after 3 flushes its working like new again. I still have enough fluid left to do this another 10 times at least. Amazing stuff.
Thanks very much 😀
@@Theinkrefillexperts I was able to flush and am still able to get a little color to easily flush out (not muddy and thick like before though, whew!), however now that I want to print, the printer goes through all the motions, but does not print anything except yellow. The cartridges are new and a little could be printed from each prior to flush and head cleaning, but now the paper receives NO ink from any cartridge except yellow.
Epson XP-420
Thoughts?
Thank you!
I would try sucking upwards with the syringe on each ink line.
There is air mostly likely are also blocking the lines.
Then run at least two head cleans to help the ink back into the ink lines.
I hope this helps.
Thank you
@@Theinkrefillexperts will do, thanks! :)
Yes it does 😀
My Epson Workforce 3640 print quality really sucks right now. I bought your kit and am waiting for it to come. I made the mistake of buying an off brand ink cartridge and I believe this may be the problem. Do you have any suggestions on ink for my printer? The Epson ink is so pricey!!
Hello Beth , where are you based and which printer do you have ?
So glad I saved this very helpful video, I have used it once a year on my Epson printer and it works every time! Thank you.
That’s brilliant, great to hear of another success story.
I almost ordered, but it asked for my phone number. I am not giving my phone number to anyone but my closest and trusted friends.
You don’t have to give your number. Is just for tracking etc of your package.
I am glad the cartridges will be happy in the cling film while they wait!
A happy Cartridge is a happy Printer 😀
😹😹😹👍
😂😂😂
For anyone struggling to get a paper towel underneath the print heads/carriage, stick some tape to the end you're going to be sliding your print head over and stick it down next to the print head and you should be able to pass the print head over
Fantastic idea 😀
Just done this to my WF-2750 and it worked a treat. Had to do three passes of the print-head cleaning routine before it came totally clear. Many thanks!
You are very welcome 😀
2:25 Now my printer wears a tank top. It's become aggressive and gets into fights with other printers.
After many months of not being able to print blue on my Epson printer even after many cleaning cycles, I watched this video and I was able to easily clean the print head and now I can print blue again! Thanks for the tips I learned here.
Steven Miller you are very welcome. !! Thanks for the feedback. Can I ask which printer you have ?
I have the WF-3620 that I figured was ruined. I was using a backup printer but now I have two workable printers. I do refill my own inks in refillable cartridges which I've been doing for years without any problem. Thanks again!
Steven Miller no problem at all
A quibble, at 2:00 it would be useful to suggest holding or otherwise stabilizing the bottle, as this procedure looks like an easy way to spill the whole thing while wobbling around with a tube and pulling up on the syringe. But then you get to sell more product...
Sorry but it is very easy , you are only sucking up 2ml
2:56.... GOTTEM!!!
Can you use something else I brought a printer second hand and saw somewhere on google you can use water or windex would it be okay to use either of those? As if I can’t fix it I need to return it to seller
I would only recommend printer refresh which is available on 118ink.com
I need to do it by tomorrow morning unfortunately can’t wait
Sorry 😀
Fantastic tutorial, very clear & concise. Just ordered the kit, hopefully it will rejuvinate a trusty old Epsom. Many thanks.
Thank you very much
Epson printers are ravenous ink eaters. Even when you put in a new cartridge once it gets done with the head cleaning cycle you will see it has only 90% left. So each cleaning cycle is 10% ink. So the more frequently you print between cleaning cycles the more the ink goes into your printing rather than head cleaning. After buying many Epson printers in my life I've finally had it with them. I will NEVER buy Epson again! Not because of the quality of print but their inability to design print heads that require cleaning less often. Canon and HP waste way less ink than Epson.
You can really clean them easily and I always use good quality compatible cartridges too x
@@Theinkrefillexperts No thanks. Epson will never get my business again. There are better alternatives. Thanks for your advise though.
"Unplug the Power Cord While Printing to Unlock the Cartridge Cart" Brilliant! Great example of thinking outside the box... literally! Thanks for that and the additional info in the video!
Hello , did it work for you ? 😀
the safer method is to locate the cartridge lock (usually white in colour) and push it.
These printers should be created with a self cleaning function. Makes no sense to have to do this when the manufacturers know this is an issue.
They can self clean but they use their own ink to clean , meaning a waste of ink and also a build up of waste ink. I am pretty sure they leave the system as it is because they would need to go back to the drawing board to include a different method.
Printer Refresh Ltd I’m sure they will leave the system as is too, but not for the reason you’re suggesting. Thanks for the reply.
This sounds promising. Does this kit work with epson wf-3640?
How long does it take to ship to the US?
Currently when I print I am not getting any ink on paper. I had left my printer unused for about an year. It used to work well before that.
Hello, it takes about one week. If that printed works like the one in the video then it will work.
Cool. At my workplace they don’t even give us any cleaning solution lol
It’s cheap to buy the cleaning fluid on 118ink.com 😉
Most impressed! Blocked head cleaned first time. Very clear instruction gives one confidence to have a go. Will be looking at cartridge purchase from you as well.
Thanks very much for the kind comments.
Hi,
Just doing this now and I can’t press the plunger down at all - total resistance. Do I leave the syringe attached overnight? Worried what to do if it still won’t depress! Eek.
Thanks
Hello , it must be very blocked or there is air in there.
Try , with an empty syringe sucking out anything that might be in the ink line before you try again , but yes it’s ok to leave overnight.
Thank you! I’ve taken it off and tried the other heads and they worked fine so it must be really clogged. Will leave it over night 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
I followed this tutorial and it really did fix my printer head. I used warmed up Mrs. Meyers instead of this solution and a syringe with the hole extended from a screw driver. Thank you so much I was almost in tears because I was so frustrated with my printer.
Hi, so you didn’t have the hose you only used a syringe? What was the screw driver for.. I’m about to lose my mind.. I want to fix my printer so bad
That’s a terrible idea and won’t work
The fluid will go everywhere and if you have resistance it will squirt everywhere.
@@Theinkrefillexperts Considering his sentence is in past tense, he already did this, and it already worked.
I don’t believe 😊
The fact he says he used a screwdriver to extend the hole is impossible.
The line are designed to be that exact size.
What should I do if my printer is printing completely blank as if the inkjet nozzle is not touching the paper at all? The printer had been in storage for about a year. The model is an Epson wf 2630. I bought new ink cartridges.
Use the 118ink.com printer refresh kit. It should go the job
Excellent product. Followed isnstructions and cleaned blocked print head on Epson WF-2530 first time.
That’s very kind !!! Thank you 😀
Wonderful, not my printer can't recognize the ink cartridge
That may mean your print head is damaged and not blocked.
Help please, I’m so confused, I just followed the directions after having issues with no cyan printing out, all other ink colors printed fine. Then after a few head cleanings, still no cyan and now barely any ink at all is printing out. I have tried pulling air up with syringe, letting it soak, more head cleans.. Is it possible I used too much cleaning solution? This is a Epson 7210 with CIS, had it a month and this is the first time I’ve ever had an issue with it. I’ve been working on printers for a decade and still don’t know what I’m doing wrong Thanks guys 🙏
Hi mate, you could let it with fluid in the lines overnight but your issue could be something other than an ink blockage.
Did you ever manage to figure out what it was? I’m having the same issue with my magenta :/
The ink line could be worn/collapsed
I would try running a few head cleans but please remember your printer could be faulty and not blocked.
My Nozzle Check looks good but my printer still won't print Blue or Yellow
Everything come out red
The printer could be faulty or I would try new cartridges.
My mate Tony Brown always does it like this. Now I know how.
He sounds like a clever guy !
Sounds like you already knew how... you just confirmed it.

Looks easy enough, but what about cleaning an eco tank printer as there are no cartridges to remove? Mine is well & truly blocked!
Check my other videos,we have an eco tank one too.
One of my colours had completely vanished so I wasn't convinced this would work but it has. Strange thing is that after treating it and leaving it over night to do its thing there was not much improvement but when I tried the printer again in the evening it was working perfectly.
Thanks ! So glad you found it useful.
Sometimes if a printer is totally blocked in one colour it can take a little extra cleaning.
Did you try the whole process again or you tried printing again?
Try both. 😃
@@ninagrandy4715 I tried printing again without re-treating.
How would you do it having the Epson xp 15000 ?
No way to connect any hose in there.
I am afraid it’s not possible if it’s not a printer like this, the vast majority of Epson cartridges do have the nipples as in this video.
Extremely helpful! Thank you for saving my sanity today 😭 Printer is up and working again finally!
Thanks for the kind comment 😀
I have printer, and I don't get errors that the cartridges are blocked, but the print quality has gone down substantially and my prints are very grainy. Do you think this would help?
Yes absolutely, you won’t get errors from your printer.
Strips of paper aren't nearly enough to absorb all the fluid and ink. A 1/2 piece of paper towel folded to the same size works best.
Hello the paper is enough for must blockages. But as the video says kitchen paper works very well.
Thanks
He said "blotting paper," which is not regular paper. It's absorbent paper, which will absorb moisture like paper towels.
You can use any paper but kitchen paper works best 😀
That must be a British thing; I've never heard of "kitchen paper."
Kitchen Roll ? Kitchen Towels ?
My Epson Stylus doesn't print anything. Head moves back and forth, but nothing prints - not the nozzle check, alignment, or bootup firmware version. Is it possible I could have destroyed my print head by running alcohol through to clean the heads?
No I would not think so, but alcohol is not anywhere near enough. Try our printer refresh.
With my old Canon, I could remove the whole print head and soak it in a part ammonia solution. It seems the Epson head not removable.
Much easier to use the printer refresh kit.
Thanks for the message
Just bought some from your site so gonna give it a go myself :) Mine is the same printer in your tutorial and it's not printing black.
It will definitely work ! 😀
@@Theinkrefillexperts Hope so! :D I'll let ya know ^_^
Received kit today and just about to give it a go - fingers crossed :P
@Printer Refresh Ltd I've done one, but I only have 2 stripes of the blotting paper and it's covered in the ink, should I continue with same blotting paper or use kitchen roll?
I would use kitchen roll 🤞
Hi! Tried it yesterday, left overnight on the heads through which the liquid could not pass, and now the situation is the same...are those print heads forever blocked? :(
I found bringing the syringe up to suck up air causes the blocked up printer ink to begin break up.
try to force the solution ink to go in it slowly,every5 minutes force it slowly until all the ink in the head dropps down
Hello , never force it. If I oi are getting resistance then suck upwards.
@@Theinkrefillexperts mine has same problem ,but i only pushed a little and it was fine !
A couple of questions: If the print head is blocked, will it simple not print anything (blank page)? Or, as mine is, will it print partial lines, some faint and some darker, and generally poor print quality? Also, I have an Epson WF-3540. will this work with that model? Thanks!
Partial lines is the most common symptom , but also may print nothing if blocked.
So pleased, I thought I needed to buy a new printer but this has sorted it out completely. Highly recommended
Thanks very much 😀
2 questions: Do you have replacement ink cartridges for the Epson WP-4025? And the 2nd: Can you show how to clean the WP-4025 if it only prints stripes in blue and red colours? Thank you so much!
GOD bless you for this wonderfully informative to the point and easy instructions. You are helping me and many others, as i can see from how many views your channel has had, you can only be proud for the many people you are helping, including myself,WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :):):)
You are very very welcome 😀
In this video, you seem to just have cleaned the cyan print head. Should we remove the blotting paper and do the whole flushing process with new warm solution for the other 3 print heads as well?
That’s optional but I would advise just a quick rinse through on all because as the video says all print heads may need a clean.
I'm on my second cleaning attempt (blue ink only is bad - Epson WF4833). First cleaning went well, I thought. Cleaned heads, printed test. Not good. Ran epson head clean again. Printed test. Better - just a few blanks - ran it a third time - worse than original. Now cleaning it with the syringe a second time. Gonna let it sit longer. Any suggestions?
Follow the video instructions to the letter , leave overnight if needed.
This actually worked!!! 😅 & I am a beginner... great video, thank you so much
Thanks very much 😀
can you use this to clean clogged epson printheads using textile ink in DTG printers?
Hello, do they have the same print head movement ? You can use it but can you get to the print heads ?
this worked thanks for the step by step guide , i had been contemplating on a new printer but this saved me $$
That’s great , happy it helped you.

Hello sir. I would love to buy the kit but im unable due to poor national importation policies so, do you know if using something like isopropyl alcohol will do the trick? Or, do you know a alternative I could try? Thank you and nice video, it is very well done
I am sorry but that won’t work.
Thank you thank you thank you you are double awesome for making this video. My printer is back working after 1 cleaning

from where we should buy this printer refresher lequid?
It’s available on 118ink.com
I have a problem with that printer, printing vertical lines. I did all calibration ( sometimes all pattern has some minor issue, not perfect [1-7 pattern block group]), I did all cleaning steps from printer set up and I can still see the cross print on a4 in the distance of 10 cm hard visible lanes. What I can do?? Thanks

I have an Epson Stylus Photo 2200 that hasn't been used in a very long time. I can still hear ink swishing in the cartridge but the printer won't print ink. Do you think your product would work to clear up the spray heads? They do look to be covered in ink.
That’s the exact job that it’s meant for 😀
any substitutes for cleaning solution ? shipping takes too long right now
Hi i have an epsom L355. It has ink bottles instead of cartridges.any tips on cleaning this type of printer.cheers
Have a look at my other videos, we have one on how to clean Ecotank printers.
Thank you SO much! It prints perfectly now. I just cleaned it with some alcohol prep pads that I had and that did the trick.
Great! can you tell the step's you followed. Cause i couldn't get the solutions online 🤕
I did the same way. Now my printer still print but no color. Just a blank paper comes out. I try to print 15times bc i think maybe It may take a little bit of time to suck the ink again but still a white clean paper😂. I just laugh and still think of what step is wrong. I love the process but maybe my printer just do not wanna be my partner anymore😂
Hello, run a few head cleans with your printer. The ink may need pushing through again.
Great stuff - worked for me.

Amazing! Spent few month to clean red head with no success, and after minutes of that method - it finally works!
Thank you 😀
i was about to throw my printer off my balcony & this video made me change my mind. slowly but surely the ink is starting to show up again
That’s brilliant 😀
Glad it did not go off the balcony 😂
How do you do this on an Epson WF-4630 where the cartridge access opens from the front and not the top? It seems every single video about cleaning print heads only shows printers that open from the top. Not knowing any better, I tried the clean print head utility from the printer's control panel, which solved nothing and wasted a ton of ink, including from two brand new Epson cartridges I bought foolishly thinking this alone would fix everything.
Hello, I am familiar with that particular printer, does it work like the one in the video besides the top opening ?
@@Theinkrefillexperts I've never tried doing anything like this before, but I would assume the printer carriage can be made to slide over as shown in the video. Since my printer only has a front pull-down panel to access the cartridges, it's not as convenient and harder to see what you're doing.
The kits mostly for printers which work as in the video, you can try to see if you can move it.
An excellent product, I used the ammonia-free solution and it completely cleared a blocked print head first time. Highly recommended.
Thanks very much.
How long did you let it dry out before you inserted the cartridges?
You don’t dry anything. You just clean it with the fluid and reinsert the cartridges.

Do you inject each into each print head? You only did one and said that was fine. And you don't have to wait 24hrs for it to dry?
Hello, as the video says you can do all the lines if you want to, we did one for the purpose of the video. It’s the same method for each line.

If your your printer has a similar system to the one in the video then yes. Most Epson printers are like this.
After much searching on the internet, I finally found that all the color cartridges have to be full, even if you're only printing in black. When you do print, make sure to select "greyscale" to only print in black, and save the other colors.
