- WoW Cataclysm Classic raids are live and I've been diving in deep over the past few days. The new bosses are challenging, and I've faced my fair share of setbacks. To help you avoid the same fate, I've compiled my top secrets for mastering Cata Classic raids without getting wiped.

Use your brain
Get the boss to 0% health before all the players get to 0% health. Profit.
Thank you for amazing tips buddy! We are progressing on monday, this is insanely helpful. Also I happen to play rdruid and be familiar with QE live from retail, its great to see they decided to focus on Cata too.
good luck domco. the qe live is a complete game changer, wish it was working 100% for priest/hpal now too but it should be soon. rdruid is perfect other than some small things like shard of woe is nerfed so the trinket list needs to change. it also doesn't really push you to get haste cap, but i think that's the right call if you are far away from it. i'm ~1k haste instead of the 2k+ cap
@@NOHITJEROMEthats kinda weird I am comfortably at 2007 haste even after swapping out some gems and reforging into spirit, I don't really have any expensive BoE or archeology staff, just preraid (sitting on 354 ilvl).

Great vid, I was able to clear all my raids except nefarian. Off tank was getting destroyed in the last phase.
fantastic devilpanda. seems like ot has to kite like crazy in the last phase. need a god tank to do it

10 mam nef sucks was in a pug and healers just couldn't keep up to 10% damage spikes.
And when we slowed down for them they just run out of mana lol

Considered ourselves a fairly good 10man, with a leader that knows the fights quite well.
Definitely having a harder time on the early bosses than anticipated.
We've gone 10/13hc so far in about 12h of brute force pulking lol. Going for more tonight, expecting to at least do chogall hc, too

Pugged everything with the same 5 people in 1 day, other than about 10 wipes on Nefarian we oneshot everything and we just checked the 30 second tactic videos beforehand
10mans are the way man. 25 you wipe 10x 2-3 ppl leave and you have to refill and it's just a nightmare

i was in a raid lmao and they are all the same. there is no raid that avoids any of these mistakes except like 3 of them and they raid full time

Update, warriors can solo the raids. Just pay for a carry from a solo warr
warriors own ya. but cant stack too many of anything in 10mans unfortunately. alas
@@NOHITJEROME well right but a warrior can solo a 10 man. Unless you really want to do the fights just buy a carry

I like how the first problem is the classic blame the healers 😂 as someone who plays nothing but healers, I take no offense to this because I know lol
its a rough life in cata for healers. we are the key to every fight but not in a way anyone really gives us props for lol
3h BWD with fresh guild , no addons no WAs just classic frendly push , we did wipe on nefarian 13 times but in the end was very nice whole group was 345+ gemed enchanted and basicly over 14k dps
yooo that's great i think the full gems/ench part is key because we did not have that. getting everyone on the same page is hard and the raids are very unforgiving
@@NOHITJEROMEyea i dont think its a problem for anyone that played for like 2 3 h a day so far and price of enchants are cheap (besides maelstrom bis ones)
Is Insanity updated for Cata? Can't see it in curseforge

does Insanity work on classic i cant find it on Curse forge for cata classic ?
just use the dragonflight version or shadowlands, it still works
As a healer who’s been pushing it for the past 3 expansion you are so on the money with the healers. Up until cata it’s been auto spamming your biggest heal and maxing out CPMs instead of maximizing Heal Per Mana, rolling CDs correctly, letting HoTs do the work, and also allowing DPS to die due to their stupidity. Mana isn’t cheap anymore and keeping up with idiots eating unnecessary dmg is impossible in current week 1 gear, now p2? Maybe less but still going to be brutal.
Currently 8/13 HC with Al’akir at 8%, holy paladin so I’ve done my fair share of digging on the Cata healing subject.

glad to hear this ognord, i have to say alakir heroic is insanely hard. we just did conclave heroic (only heroic so far..will try bot soon) and oh my god conclave took 5 hours lol. as for your healing points - 100% the case - i don't think most healers even know metrics like HPM at all. and everyone is going oom. we have good healers in our raid and nobody really knew about potion of concentration either. that thing is insane
Your guild simply shouldn't tolerate stupidity. Pugs are one thing but guilds a no go.
How can we avoid wiping to Deathwing outside the Raid?

@@ryanmullen483 that's huge, starting to regret not doing bwd 10mans. did 25s and although i've heard they are easier..not so easy with 2-3 revolving door slots for players

All These addons and Websites suck hairy Balls…. Thats Not fun to just doing Everything what Stands on a Site or weakauras and dbm etc. Its just like you have to move and just do Rotation. There is nothing to Play lol. I Play cata the First time and its much fun to discover Everything and without addons. I didnt raid on day one. But some days After. Why should people Rush the content if its reseting once a week lol
Hi Seegurken I agree fully but the game is hard enough that it rewards using these tools. They are very overpowered
Its almost like AI is playing for us these days..
pretty much. it tells us what the best gear is, it makes the decisions, we just follow. the ai is playing the game, we are the worker lol
Not really bud, AI control as much of your game as you let it. Add-ons help you organize/see/plan things better but at the end of the day it's up to you to click the buttons and making the decisions, if not what game are you playing?
