What I love about megatron toy is that I would pretend that I was sound wave. Holding megatron while going around my house hunting down autobots. I also love soundwave. If pretend that I was listening to music even though its just a toy.
Awesome video! The Decepticons were always my favorites because of their war-like transformations! Ive always liked what Megatron once said, "I'm Cybertronian by BIRTH, Decepticon by CHOICE!" Thanks again for a great review of the Decepticon Army!
This is a very interesting way of ranking these characters. A lot of them end up where you think they will be like Megatron, Shockwave and Starscream, but there were a lot of surprises as well. I was very surprised to see Soundwave ranked so low. I also found it interesting that a single character from a special team, such as Hook, can be considered a more efficient Transformer than his team's combined form. Awesome video!
i am 37 yrs old and I really needed to see your video... all the memories, good times back in 85,86,87... I was the first to see the movie when it came out in the 80's.... Please review Megatron... I could never find him in toys "R" Us or Kay Bee's.. Can u turn him into the Gun please .. I miss these days.... awesome toys along with GI Joe, He-Man.... when I use to make honor roll at school my dad would take me to get a transformer... Damn I really miss these days... they are well worth you 3gs
This is great info for the long time Transformers fan. There are others that I would love to get more info on. The ones that came out after the movie. Is there any way you can to a review of the autobots and decepticons that came out after the movie (ie: Hot Rod, Predaking, Ultramagnis and so on). That would be much appreciated.
Awesome stuff! Thanks for making these. I collect MOTU and POP, but I also always loved Transformers, G.I. Joe, M.A.S.K. etc. Congratulations on your amazing collection. G1 is still my favourite, but all the 80s Transformers were amazing. Damn, I miss my childhood. LOL Hope you'll do more videos in the future. Thanks again.
I remember buying all episodes of The Transformers for over $100 on eBay... On VHS! Now they're all on RUclips! With a few exceptions, just like Cobra, the Decepticons had better forms / vehicles than the Autobots. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for all the time you put in these.
Found the info i was looking for! Thanks! And found even more stuff realated to this G1 collection prior to the movie... So many iconic characters were never shown ever again because they were "killed" in the movie!!!! Soooo saaadddd!!!
I know this video is quite old now but is there any chance of a similar review for the post '86 Movie armies? I only really got into Transformers after the Movie so I've always been more fond of those characters and designs, aside from Soundwave who remains my favourite TF from before the Movie.
I enjoy watching this video still from time to time. Makes me happy and brings me back to a more innocent time. Do you still own your collection? Just curious.
Awesome review! I like your video and learned who was release prior to the movie. I thought the decepticons was more than the autobots and agree about your CONS!!!
There was a seeker called Sunstorm who was basically an orange re-paint of Starscream. I understand he was a European-release only, but is he also part of the G1 line prior to the movie? Also, I take it the 2nd line of Insecticons (the ones painted brighter colors) were after the '86 movie?
Your video is awesome even dough i am sad that Soundwave is at 16th place and will you do some toys from later years who are G1 characters like Classics, Generations and reveal the shield.
What about Ransack, Chop-Shop, Barrage and Venom? And I understand that some of the 1986 releases like Galvatron and Gnaw wasnt realesed until after the movie but is this true with Octane, Runabout and Runamuck?
What do i think of this video you ask? I think you have a nice collection of g1 decepticons and I think you should do updates if you get any more. If not already you should do the autobots army like this.
Didn't notice it on the Autobot Army review, but you have not included the Deluxe Insecticons or Whirl and Roadbuster. Was this because they were not cartoon characters in addition to being available for purchase?
I hate being "this guy" because I really admire the time you take with your videos and all. But way back in 1986 I was able to get Scourge, and Gnaw before the movie was released. And I saw Galvatron and Cyclonus with them the stores at the same time. I remember thinking to myself "I can't wait to see the movie cause I want to know more about these guys". Granted we are only talking about a few months here, actually I got Gnaw just a few days before the release of the movie, so it really isn't a big deal. Anyways you have a very awesome collection, and this video was very enjoyable to watch.
Yes its true that the Autobots strength is their number but for the Decepticons its their technology, like Soundwave having his own private army and there are the gestalts having 3 compared to two of the Autobots and finally the triple changers by which they can transform into either a land vehicle or an air vehicle.
Holy mother wow look at your collection of Autobots and Decepticons it make me feel bad because i don't have a collection of transformers at all wish i could buy a few from you cool collection bro
Great work! Wondering why Octane was left out of the Triple Changers? Was he not released until after the '86 movie? Thanks again for showing off these awesome figures!
@UltimateG1Reviewer Even at the second watchin'.... Great review guy.... =) Any chance to see in the future my favorite ever... Decepticon Scorponok ???..... =)
Wow, I remember having all of these not too long ago. Sweet set, I always preferred the Decep's over the Auto's, with the exception of Jetfire. Funny, I never remembered Rat-bat being one of the original Decep's. At some point or another, I'm sure I'll at least pick up Jetfire and some of the Masterpiece TF's again. Peace and thanx for sharing, Jay
Please note that you're missing Barrage, Chop Shop, Ransack, and Venom. They were the Deluxe Insecticons and didn't appear in the cartoon due to the fact that they were licensed to Hasbro by Bandai, not Takara, and the G1 cartoon was supposed to be a promotion for Hasbro and Takara.
i love the large groups review more then any other type but i love all of the review u do i acualy just bougt my first optimus prime today of ebay can't wait :D
Cool collection man look at all of those Decepticons wish i could buy a few from you that would make happy will expect i never got in any of them when i was a kid my parents never had the money but it's great that you got them when you were a kid i love this video your the man but man all those Decepticons but i would like buy a few from will i gotta go god bless you UltimateG1Reviewer bye
Wow they had so few toys in the G1 range. I was a kid when these toys came out so didnt have that many of them (probably 15 in total) Looking back they were amazing even though they look goofy by modern standards.
Phenominal review. Totaly informative. Just watched the autobot one too. Thank you.
What I love about megatron toy is that I would pretend that I was sound wave. Holding megatron while going around my house hunting down autobots. I also love soundwave. If pretend that I was listening to music even though its just a toy.
I really like your generation transformer videos. Trevor
Awesome video! The Decepticons were always my favorites because of their war-like transformations! Ive always liked what Megatron once said, "I'm Cybertronian by BIRTH, Decepticon by CHOICE!" Thanks again for a great review of the Decepticon Army!
Reflector's Parts do have names. The red one is Spectro, the purple one is Spyglass and the one with the lens is Viewfinder.
This is great! I like seeing all of the G1 Decepticons together like this! Thanks for all the time and work that you put into these reviews!
Congrats!!!! So excited to see you and your videos coming back!
i am 37 yrs old and I really needed to see your video... all the memories, good times back in 85,86,87... I was the first to see the movie when it came out in the 80's.... Please review Megatron... I m a transformer junkie..but loved the decepticons... just thought they had cooler characters
No Deluxe Insecticons? They were pre-movie.
No shit.
I think he was meaning the Transformers that were in the cartoon. The deluxe Insecticons weren't even made by Takara, the company working with Hasbro.
Again, my boy is overly pleased!!! As am I! you've made it easy to share transformers with the next generation!
I used to have over 100 Transformers in the 80s but your collection is more complete than mine was had to sell my Transformers!! Hats off to ya!!!
I have bout 120 g1 transformers most reissue from china but they r identical to orginal. others orginal complete not in box
comprehensive, professional and excellent review all round!
I still enjoy using this for Decepticon roll call as I round out my classics collection....This needs to be archived forever!
Rumble is Blue and Frenzy is Red just like “Transformers: Fall of Cybertron”
That's what I say.
@@UltimateG1Reviewer And it’s True… I have that Video Game…
HANDS DOWN BROTHER, HANDS DOWN!!! Love your collection, brings back awesome memories.
Awesome stuff! Thanks for making these. I collect MOTU and POP, but I also always loved Transformers, G.I. Joe, M.A.S.K. etc. Congratulations on your amazing collection. thanks man
You're missing a few pre-movie Decepticons, namely the Deluxe Insecticons (Ransack, Venom, Chop Shop, and Barrage).
what about the deluxe insecticons? r u plan to collect them also?
I remember buying all episodes of The Transformers for over $100 on eBay... On VHS! Now they're all on RUclips! With a few exceptions, just like Cobra, the Decepticons had better forms / vehicles than the Autobots. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for all the time you put in these.

Great review!!! Just saw the Autobots one as well. Did you do a G1 post-movie review of the transformers?
Triple-changers were a lot smaller than i expected.
is there a video for the figures released after the animated movie? if not there should be, very cool video
Excellent review. Good job! Though you only missed the individual names of Reflector.
Love the video man!!! I also love the collection!!! Keep the cool videos coming man!!!

yes, i definately would continue to watch your reviews. i do not have any of my toy from my childhood. keep the vids coming..
How did you have money to buy all this?
Awesome review! I like your video and learned who was release prior to the movie.
I thought the decepticons was more than the autobots and agree about your CONS!!!
Do you think you might do reviews for the Autobot and Decepticon armies that appeared in the animated movie and seasons 3 and 4 at some point?
OOPS! I asked when you were gonna show a overview of the decepticons. well i found it. cool, cant wait to see it..
There was a seeker called Sunstorm who was basically an orange re-paint of Starscream. I understand he was a European-release only, but is he also part of the G1 line prior to the movie? Also, I take it the 2nd line of Insecticons (the ones painted brighter colors) were after the '86 movie?
Totally jealous! Lol sick collection! Thanks for sharing! Nice to see them all together!

Thanks I like how you broke that down from the Cons specs!
Megatron and soundwave are my favorite toys that I own. I love pretending to be listening to music on soundwave when I'm out and about.
amazing...I only have 4 g1 transformers. This would be a dream come true!
Great review. Love it. Thanks for doing this.
keep making good videos.g1 transformers ya jus gotta love them. im also a collector
Any chance you'll review the G1 toys that came after the animated movie?
Didn't notice it on the Autobot Army review, but you have not included the Deluxe Insecticons or Whirl and Roadbuster. Was this because they were not cartoon characters in addition to being available for purchase?
when are you reviewing '86 movie figures and beyond?(group wise) I would like to see. Good job on this one.
I hit the like button before I watched the vid... never regretted it! So cool figs! :-)
Great review!
Thank you for showing them all together !
The decepticons are my faforite. Reflector I got under the name of diaclone, you just could by them in toy-stores in the Netherlands.
Have you thought of doing any of the transformers after the movie??? I would love to see a Cylonus.
How do you keep your g1 toys in good condition? my thundercracker is already discolored
So the triple-changer Octane was after the animated movie?
Do reviews on the transformers after the movie
What about the Battlechargers, Runabout and Runamuck?
Are there more decepticon's that appeared in or after the movie in this video or is it just rat bat.
I hate being "this guy" because I really admire the time you take with your videos and all.

Michael Alex Kawa Thanks! Good to know!

Octane was not released with Blitzwing and Astrotrain?
Holy mother wow look at your collection of Autobots and Decepticons it make me feel bad because i don't have a collection of transformers at all wish i could buy a few from you cool collection bro
Great work! Wondering why Octane was left out of the Triple Changers? Was he not released until after the '86 movie? Thanks again for showing off these awesome figures!

oooh I wish I had them all as a kid :) especially all of the seekers :)
How is Astrotrain higher in rank than commander Blitzwing?
Hi there. Are you solely collecting G1 toys and not the newer stuff? I am on the fence of getting into G1 toys, maybe only into the characters I like.
if you were to sell the g1 figures, especially optimus and megatron, how much would they go for?
r u geting generations thundercracker from amazon
There was no reason to change the pictures for Rumble and Frenzy. Their color mixup was the cartoon’s fault
Great review, man.
I enjoyed both group reviews. They were well made.
Great.
Thanks!

Awesome collection man .
