I love how Circle of the Moon has military sounding music with the trumpets and drums, and this is definitely my favorite version of this song!

This version of Dance of Illusions could fit as a theme for Soma (Dracula's reincarnation), despite him being the evil Prince of Darkness in his past life, he has no intention of being the next Dark Lord and only fights to defeat evil.

Yes this one sounds more heroic in a way
Fits perfectly for someone who rejected being the darkness inside him
It would be nice having a remix of this one in a hipotetical third Of Sorrow game

Maybe it's because CotM was only the third Castlevania I played and the first I finished, but it has my faves of a LOT of classic tracks. This, Vampire Killer, Aquarius and its clock tower.

I think that extra bit they added before the loop adds a LOT to the song. Wonder why they didn't use it in future versions?

I think it's more of a matter of familiarity. almost everyone and their mom played SotN, but Circle of the Moon was somehow a bit more niche, and Konami separated it from the general Castlevania lore. So, a lot of Circle of the Moon stuff stayed with Circle of the Moon. A bit of a shame, really....

i think this is the only version that has a different arrangement which i think makes the song sound better, not only the fastest tempo makes it ideal for the battle in the game

In dawn of sorrow Julius Mode
Is a what if of one of the bad endings of the game
The final boss get replaced by Dark Lord Soma
But the fight isn't that Hard honestly
Still a pretty good bossfight probably the best of the game
Plus the Dance Of Illusions version that plays there is my favorite version
