Just another hint on that knot. Dont feed the end of the line through the last over, but make it as a loop. So its much easier to undo it when its really tight or even frozen in the morning.
Thank you for sharing knowledge.Have saved tenrs and poles by putting lines on in heavy weather, can make a cheaper tent work better than you would expect.
My Aurora 2P tent came with only one guyline. In my opinion, it should come with four. Luckily, I have about a hundred feet of PMI 2mm accessory cord that works great. I also have 1/16" polyester cord made by Atwood Rock Co. that is fantastic.
Would love to see a video highlighting some of Nemo's tent accessories. (ie. Gearloft & pawprint). The timing of this video couldn't have been better. I just got a Nemo Losi Ls 2p tent and was wondering if there was a specific way to guy it out. This video helped out a bunch.
i have a gear loft for my nemo galaxi 1p (no longer made) and MAN does it ROCK! the gear loft gives ample space for storing extra things overhead and even allows you to place some soaked clothing like socks overhead so they dry out better (after youve squeezed them free of drenched fabric of course-with the ample air flow, it truly does dry items away!) its superp. comes with extra light pockets and the same mesh material as the tent ). When it comes to the pawprint, its good if you have dogs so they dont scratch the floor by accident. It is made of a soft fleece like material, similar to a ultra absorbent towel or a portable blanket, nothing super fancy. it does stake out in each corner and snaps into place properly, this allows the paw print to stay in place when you or the dog moves. I guess it adds an extra layer of comfort and coziness to your experience but, it is not practical if camping alone or backpacking with 2 individuals (personal choice- I do not use is unless with my dogs) but the GearLoft is a must.
Are you even allowed to say 'Guy' out anymore.... Careful Nemo you might get cancelled :) I think this tent might be the one i go for as my first hiking tent.
This was exactly what I needed to know about the guylines my Hornet came with. Thank you!

An excellent tip! Tying with a bight tail makes untying a lot easier.

Would love to hear about the Backcountry x Nemo Nachi 2P tent!
I like that knot!
Why don't they provide line locks?
How come you don't supply enough guy lines for every attachment point? With the cost of your tents a few extra feet of guy lines should be included.
Still waiting for an answer.
In your video you say "Let us know if you have any questions". Not much point if you don't answer them. Joke company.
Wow, and I was considering upgrading to a Nemo this season. Not enough guylines and no answer after 4 months. Kendall Wallace, you're sliipin' bro!
How do you connect them to a tent stake though?
Wrap it just underneath the top of the steak and tension the line with a knot back up the line.
is that a phone in your pocket or are you just happy to see me ?
