One thing i learnt as a Manitoban hunter, is winter hunts change based off snow fall. Lots of snow? Deeper in the season, they need to come out cor food. The wind sweeps the snow off the fields and tbey can eat it eaily, but in the brush, the food gets buried and no wind clears it. If it hasnt snowed a lot, youre likely not going to have luck posting up on an alfalfa plot that has historically worked. Food for thought (pun intended).
Great series. About 5 years back i realized i was listening to too many guys on ig and youtube, about hunting and strategy etc. It be c ame overwhelming and hard to follow. So i narrowed it down to 5 guys that either hunt similarly to me, or have a similar mindset and mark kenyon and tony Peterson are both on that list. So a series like this is great for me. Cheers
Yea… big fan of Steve and meat eater, and most of the guys… mark seems like a good fellow, but that mustache and quite a few of his videos in my eyes speak volumes, reminds me of Alex peric joining Tim wells… I would take hunting advice from a school lunch lady before mark or AP…😂
My buddy actually had a big buck as a pet, he asked me while I was over one day. He asked me if i thought bucky would eat a cigarette i said no way, he pulled a cigarette out took the filter off the deer ate it.
Show us more nips, please. Seriously, I think it would be super helpful to see y'all walk along a deer trail or an edge and show us a variety of species that have been browsed on. Detail shots of the nips. Thanks.
You forgot ditch weeds. I planted a turnip patch for them they stay in the road ditches eating briars. Now their food plot is whatever comes up after I bush hog. Done with that.
