Cleveland Full Face Review with a TWIST!! I have a look at the standard Dynamic Gold Spinner Wedge Shaft and directly compare it to the KBS Custom Series Shaft - Same "Flex".
True Temper Dynamic Golf Spinner Tour Issue Wedge Shaft
Vs.
KBS Custom Series Wedge Shaft (Green)
The findings are rather interesting! Jump In.
Great video I just recently changed irons into the Wilson cb staff model and staff model wedges they are outfitted with Dg s300 120g would I be better going back to the kbs c taper shaft? 7 iron swing speed around 90-95 mph
How are you getting on with direction and height with the DG120? 🙃
I just got fitted for the ZipCore RTX and am putting on the KBS HI-REV 2.0.
How fast is your swing speed? I was swinging 86-88 full shots with the dynamic gold.
Nice choice 👌
I've let go of that sort of data to be honest ...speed is a very isolated part of a bigger puzzle
Full Shots - I look at how often I hit the target as that what I need on the course to make birdies
If I'm varying +/-5 yards with one shaft and +/-2 yards with another ...that's what I'll lean towards in choice
There will be an element of technique that comes in as well and consistency ...this will be exposed in a comparison if the results are the same for different shafts
The shots you play with a Wedge vary in speed so much throughout a round of golf so I'm very much target driven start to finish
Would be nice to see a close up of the data in future.
Yeah it's an old video ...I do better now 😇
I’m thinking about changing wedges shafts between s400 and KBS tour Custom series flex X. I’m using x100 for irons. What do you think that it won’t change the feeling too much when hitting. Thanks in advance.
You won't get as much feedback and the shaft will feel a bit "harder"
I think the tightness and consistency of the dispersion is worth that sacrifice personally
(you get used to it pretty quickly)
Using them on the course there's a lot more penetration in the flight close range to the greens which I feel like it lasers to the pin and just grabs in when it lands
The full face, with weight higher up would have contributed to that lower flight as well tbf
what weight was the kbs tour shaft?
That was a Stiff which is 120g
Reg 110g
Stiff 120g
X Flex 130g
Annoyingly they aren't labelled with a flex so you can only see it under the grip etched on the shaft
@@FredzGolf Awesome thanks! great review.
