Okay I can understand that going through the same area over and over gets boring fast but I actually loved this part of Skyward Sword. A lot. This is one of my favorite parts.
Azura Raijin To be honest, i loved all of the song fetch quest, the melody of faron, stealth of eldin and pure nostalgia of the 'you know what' that lanaryru gives you. ( I said that because of spoilers. )
I like the Faron one too thinking back on it. I dont think I really liked the Lanayru one. I'd explain but I cant cause Id be saying what it is but what I do love is after the Lanayru one. The thing you unlock after you do the Lanayru one.
Yeah this part was great! It's honestly kinda annoying just how much he rags on it during the episode especially since his only main criticism about it was you "Climb the mountain again".
I kinda like this section personally. To me it's like the Skyward Sword equivalent to Tokay Island and Eventide Island where after being used to having all these items you have to build yourself up from scratch again. Plus, even though they use Eldin Volcano again, the layout feels more dungeon-like and involves a bit more strategy, which I think is a really clever use of game design.
NIMPAK1 The thing with eventide is clunky stealth isn't required, it's a challenge based on skill and what you can find, not just your patience for mandatory shallow stealth
I disagree with you Sir Blade. It's a test of how resourceful you can get when you have nothing at your disposal. I took down the Hinox with nothing other than a few boko spears. I threw one at its eye, got the dragonbone boko club it had in its necklace and beat the snot out of it. I felt it was more about how well you could manage yourself with limited resources on an island with a very clear objective. Besides there are so many ways to take down the Hinox. You could roll boulders down from the hill above onto it, fight it head on, spam with arrows, use Sheikah Slate powers like bombs or magnesis... It's on YOU how you complete the task at hand. It's like a shrine, but not inside the shrine itself (considering the reward is the same).
I think the difference in opinion here is mostly based off of our different playstyles. My point is that you're focusing on the optimal way to deal with this particular Hinox rather than the myriad of ways the game offers you to deal with it. It's not clunky design, it was just a clunky strategy. BotW gives you so many different ways to solve the challenges it presents, but in the end it's really up to you on how you solve them. You can chose the most optimal way to do it, or you could experiment a bit and work around a problem if you don't want to spam an ability over and over because it's boring. It isn't clunky if the game gives you more than one way to deal with the Hinox. It's just clunky to spam arrows at the Hinox.
You're making an ocean out of a puddle. Sir Blade The game actively encourages you to try the Sheikah slate powers throughout. Even in combat. There are metal crates around most camps with which to knock the guards off towers and smash to a pulp. Stasis can get you out of a bind if you're quick enough. Bombs send enemies flying buying you time to switch weapons out. Just because you have trouble adjusting to a control set doesn't make the game clunky. You could argue the controls are clunky (which I would agree with you on that to some degree) but that doesn't mean that the section/game is designed poorly or in a clunky manner. The absolutely horrible motion controls for aiming can be turned completely off in the settings. There is no need to struggle with that if you have a hard time using them. The different quick select menus pause the game completely allowing you to carefully select the weapon or power you want to use. I'm sorry but you're just bad at the game if you can't take advantage of the fact that time stops completely when you're selecting things and you can take your time. Not any item will kill any enemy either. Some weapons are clearly better used for killing certain enemies. You simply cannot beat a guardian with any boko weapon, the rock breaking spear isn't that good against non-rock enemies... etc. I could defend the durability saying it is the game's balance mechanic. Breaking weapons force you to prepare for a fight. You have limited resources and picking and choosing the right tool for the job will give you an edge. What that tool you use is, is up to you. If you want to waste your fire greatswords or guardian weapons on bokoblins that is your call. As I said earlier in the comment, there are alternatives to fighting (including a very simple but effective stealth mechanic) that can allow you to gain an edge on the enemies and not have all of your best weapons break within 5 minutes. Towards the end of the game you become massively overpowered, but you absolutely earned it. The more you play the stronger you become, it's a very natural progression in open world games. If by the time I completed 80+ shrines, completed the map, freed the 4 divine beasts and got the Master Sword I'm not absolutely wiping the floor with Ganon's minions, what was the damn point of all that questing? With the points you're making you're telling me that you found an exploit, used it a bunch, got bored and called the section/game clunky and unbalanced. It's an incredibly well designed game with lots of mechanics and systems working in unison, it just so happened to be programmed by imperfect humans. Don't call the game unbalanced and poorly designed because you took advantage of human error. In the end this is a battle of opinions. I stand by mine that the game is great, offers a lot of different tools to deal with situations, and is a very well balanced open world experience. You struggled with the controls, got frustrated, found an exploit and came out with a negative perspective. If we won't change each other's minds, let's just agree to disagree, cool?
Sir Blade I only accused you of nitpicking, in a strange way cause I'm heavily sleep deprived at the moment. I got a bit defensive and the whole thing got out of hand. I accept the critique with a simple "Meh.. I'm having fun." The fact is the game is well designed. It just happens to have mechanics some people don't enjoy. As does every game. Don't call the game poorly designed because you didn't enjoy it. Sidenote... what Zelda games have you played? Most of the ones I've played have had me pausing to pull out different items all the time. I can only think of 4 games in the series that allowed you to put items in a hotkey...
I honestly really liked this part of Eldin Volcano when I played it. It drove home to me just how important my items had been the whole adventure, and since that's one of the things skyward sword does better than many previous installments, I really appreciated that. It also made me get creative with my stuff as I found it :)
Am I the only one who really enjoyed this area? Yes, I know it's padding, but I thought it taught you to use items that are now redundant, like the Slingshot, and put a new spin on an old area.
I love these kinds of missions. They're always placed at the point where you're entirely dependant on your items. These missions strip you of everything and force you to go back to the beginning when you had nothing!
That Guy Well only Link can wield it, but it is still just a sword- nothing prevents a Bokoblin from just picking it up off the ground. Not to mention that Ghirahim can steal it and still use it.
+FORMINCRAFTIA Blade of Evil's Bane. Girahim would likely burn to a crisp if he attempted to pick it up and steal it. Remember that no evil being can touch it due to the scare power that dwells within. And I don't think the Bokoblins stole it more like it was knocked off his back and flung up at the top of the mountain.
+ModandoArtist67 That was the Goddess Sword, not the Master Sword. It is true that the Goddess Sword did eventually become the Blade of Evil's Bane. At that point I can only assume it was just a little stronger than a normal blade but the Master Sword is that of a purifying light. It slays evil beings on contact.
***** If it killed evil beings on contact Link would never have to swing it more than once- yet countless enemies in the series, even the most basic enemies, are commonly seen taking several blows from the blade before dying. Due to its magic powers, it seals darkness leading it to being more effective vs. Monsters, but it clearly doesn't deal much damage just by touch.
13:27 - 13:33 "Just follow my moves and sneak around. Be careful not to make a sound. Shhh~" Gosh, that part was the best meme ever. Thank you for the legendary meme, Stefan Karl. :')
You know, I appreciate the honesty in admitting there are parts that you really do not enjoy in a game you otherwise like. A lot of classic and iconic games seem to be over hyped because of nostalgia. Sure they are good games, but no game is perfect.
I gotta say, as much as coming back to each region for a third time was tedious, I actually really enjoyed this part. I always liked stealth missions in games, and that combined with the fact you have to find all of your items really changes the way you have to traverse this area. Plus, the atmosphere is really cool with the dark sky and the way the music gets really tense when you're sneaking past enemies. Overall, this was one of the few parts of this game that I actually found pretty memorable
This is actually my favorite of the last region visits, and one of my favorite parts of the game. Losing all your items and sneaking around to get them back was pretty cool in my opinion.
I love the use of item in the Oracle games. Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. No item is useless. I'm constantly switching what I'm using. Hell, the most "useless" item, the shovel (yes a shovel)(sorry shovel knight), is use- NEEDED in a later mid boss fight.
I loved this part tbh. It was really fun trying to sneak past the bokos to get my stuff back and using what I could in the moment to get through. Honestly had a lot of fun with it.
For those who are now wondering what Link does after saving the world; That depends on the game. I can explain a few examples that at least make sense to me. *SPOILERS TO SEVERAL ZELDA GAMES! CONTINUE AT YOUR OWN RISK!* The Wind Waker Link goes on to try and discover new land after defeating Ganondorf, and we see a part of this journey in Phantom Hourglass (After that game, Link most likely went on to discover the New Hyrule and marries Tetra after establishing the new kingdom and it needing a king and queen. This makes sense because the Zelda in Spirit Tracks makes a direct mention to Tetra in the final battle, and the royal guard outfit is basically the same as Wind Waker Link's Tunic. [The Spirit Track Link's future after the game is actually decided by the player, so I don't need to explain any more of this timeline.]) Since the Twilight Princess Link starts off on a Ranch (and Epona's Song is also known there), It would make sense that this Link descended from Malon after she took over and most likely moved Lon Lon Ranch. Also, because the Hero's Shade himself confirms himself to be the Hero of Time and confirms that Twilight Princess Link is his descendant; this must mean that The Hero of Time went back to Lon Lon ranch and married Malon after he saved Termina, hid the Ocarina of Time, and most likely gave up after what was possibly a long time of searching for Navi. I don't really know the fate of Twilight Princess Link after the game, but he did have a steady job life at Ordon before the quest began; so he at least has that if nothing else. There are also instances of Link who had a good set up to become a Blacksmith before the events of the game began. The Minish Cap Link was the grandson of the local Blacksmith, and was a childhood friend of Zelda; so Link could easily become a knight or blacksmith after the events of the Minish Cap. As for the Link Between Worlds Link, he was the apprentice of the Blacksmith before the events of the game; so Link was already setting himself up to become a blacksmith before Yuga invaded. So, Link isn't always screwing himself out of a job after saving the world. At least half the time; he either already had a plan before things got out of control and could go back to that afterward, or had an unexpected opportunity trust upon him that he continues to follow through with after the events of the game. [I won't spoil what happens after this game for people who don't know, but there won't be much question as to what Link will do after finishing this quest once it is done. That is all I will say.]
this episode I feel had a little to much complaining in it for my taste I really didn't hear much about the cool things in this area and I'm a little disappointed because I think that this segment has a lot of good to talk about but that's just me throwing out my opinion
That's a good comparison because you get to use some power-ups before losing them. However, Metroid Prime does this at the BEGINNING of the game, and it doesn't make you traverse the same tiny part of the map for a fourth time to find something that you've been using all along. When there is backtracking, it's quick, and you can enjoy the scenery. New items don't pop up in places you already explored thoroughly, certainly not 20 or more hours into the game. If there is something you can't obtain during your first visit, you can grab it later at your leisure, but it's never forced upon you.
Uh two questions: 1. Why is Link still alive? Why didn't they kill him? 2. How in the HELL did they take the Master Sword? Didn't the game itself state that "Only Link can hold this sword"? How did they take it? And--why didn't Fi wake you up or do ANYTHING to try and resist? Continuity errors!
One possibility might be that Ghirahim might want to kill Link personally after his embarrassing defeat last time link was in this area and ordered the bobokins to capture him so that Ghiraham gets the joy of killing Link himself.
I love this part of the game so much. the idea of being stripped of your power and having to find clever ways of getting around/killing enemies is awesome to me.
10:54 The guide actually mentions after the second visit to Eldin Volcano, before entering the Fire Sanctuary, about the goddess chest on that island, mentioning what it will become. This is all after the first visit to Lanayru Desert. Pg 182 of the Collector's Edition of the guide. I looked it because I was curious, and a little OCD about being right.
I don't consider the silent realms a second visit to any area. The place where the silent realm gate would be is so obvious, except maybe Lanayru for me. I'll agree that the escort mission in Eldin Volcano only changed enemy placement and it wasn't engaging or different enough to interest me, but even that part was trivialized with the bow. This stealth mission revisit was very good, at least in my opinion. The reason I consider it a *good* revisit is how it forces you to adapt to different mechanics, in which you can't fight your way through the biggest amount of enemies with the right amount of time and skill, like you can in most Zelda games. Without your sword and shield, and enemies at every turn, you can't afford to get seen. Of course, I think the rock catapult way of setting you back is stupid, though.
this was actually one of my favorite parts of skyward sword, just the thought of losing all your stuff and sneaking around was a great re-imagination of the area that i replayed the game just to play again
I LOVED the stealth section! It felt so tense going through enemy territory and regaining your items like a scavenger. It was awesome! Can't wait to see what Emile thinks of it.
(7:14) Link, I get that you lost your items, but you didn't lose your brain. You know that they have trumpets that they call for reinforcements with. You had a running start, and even without your sword you could probably take out a single Bokoblin with a running front kick.
i wait for him to post but i dont refresh, i just know he uploads on the same time every day he uploads and when he does not upload due to following his twitter
I personally loved the stealth section of this game. The way they limit your options and make you use each item to get the next makes you realize just how valuable they all are.
HEY EVERYBODY ITS CHUGGAACONROY INTERRUPTING OUR LIVES....you see what i did there i like used his intro as a means to introduce the situation.....I think its clever.....
This is probably my favorite part of the third revisits,I really like the stealth aspect and having your items taken, with you having to reclaim them, reminds me of Oracle of ages with the Tokay.Plus they put enough that it doesn't just feel like you're climbing eldin volcano "again", it kinda felt like Link escaping a prison camp on some volcanic island.
I will never understand why he doesn't like this area I think it's extremely fun getting your items back. It gives the less used ones more purpose momentarily before the game ends. Granted climbing the volcano again I can see but the fact that it's this different makes it fun for me.
00:20 Actually, I have had a thought for a while about Link's second career. What does (almost?) every version of Link do for coin very early in their quest? They chop down grass to find rupees. So if he goes back to that foundational skill, he could start his own landscaping service. They could call this sequel The Legend of Zoysia.
To be honest, I actually quite liked this revisit to Eldin Volcano. I know I'm part of the minority on this one, but I love stealth sections in games. :P
Again, I feel like Chuggaa just says "it's padding", but he never explains why the actual segment is bad. He just says it's bad because it's padding. If he doesn't like stealth missions I could understand, but he never makes that clear. I personally enjoy this part, but that's just me.
He did explain. It's padding because it's a cheap way to make you climb the volcano AGAIN. Sure they make it somewhat interesting, but it's the fourth time climbing the place. Also, he never said it was bad. Just that it was padding.
cuz like he said you're going up the same mountain for the 4th time. and as he stated certain restrictions exist to make it go longer rather than keeping to mechanics that the game has taught you.
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Ooh, black and yellow! Let's shake it up a little. Barry! Breakfast is ready! Ooming! Hang on a second. Hello? - Barry? - Adam? - Oan you believe this is happening? - I can't. I'll pick you up. Looking sharp. Use the stairs. Your father paid good money for those. Sorry. I'm excited. Here's the graduate. We're very proud of you, son. A perfect report card, all B's. Very proud. Ma! I got a thing going here. - You got lint on your fuzz. - Ow! That's me! - Wave to us! We'll be in row 118,000. - Bye! Barry, I told you, stop flying in the house! - Hey, Adam. - Hey, Barry. - Is that fuzz gel? - A little. Special day, graduation. Never thought I'd make it. Three days grade school, three days high school. Those were awkward. Three days college. I'm glad I took a day and hitchhiked around the hive. You did come back different. - Hi, Barry. - Artie, growing a mustache? Looks good. - Hear about Frankie? - Yeah. - You going to the funeral? - No, I'm not going. Everybody knows, sting someone, you die. Don't waste it on a squirrel. Such a hothead. I guess he could have just gotten out of the way. I love this incorporating an amusement park into our day. That's why we don't need vacations. Boy, quite a bit of pomp... under the circumstances (Not all fits)
Okay, so this is the second trial Chugga's taking on! I thought so, since Eldin is one of the more fleshed-out areas and there are at least tons of dragon motifs in both of the temples in this area to hint to a dragon being there, too. Like I said in the Tadtone video though, albeit vaguely to avoid spoilers, this and the next trial are NOT good imo. Yes, I will admit that the concept of a stealth section where your stuff is taken from you and you have to take it BACK is cool, but I don't feel that this example of it executes the idea properly. This would have been an excellent time to convince the player to not only use all their items outside of their designated areas, but to use them in new ways. But no; the slingshot is primarily to distract, the clawshots let you cross distances, the mogma mitts make you go underground - and that's all near lava, lots of spotlights that insta-catch you, on floating lava platforms, surrounded by enemies that never bothered you that are difficult now only because you have no items... I have fair gripes about the final trial, too, but this one is easily my least-favorite of all three Song of the Hero trials. OH, and all of this bokoblin base bull?!? It's not even a trial!!!! At least the Water Dragon makes you find the TadTones to prove yourself! The Eldin Dragon doesn't ask you to do this, doesn't force you to prove your power/wisdom/courage by taking away your weapons! NO! Because that would have made too much sense!
He does, though. Not directly like the Water Dragon - he doesn't directly give you a trial, but once you do the stuff to actually talk to him, he then is all like "well, I have a problem, so I can't help you right now... Oh, if only my problem was gone, THEN I could help you..." And then you have to do the thing that involves the other place that Groose hinted at about 10 episodes earlier
But he's sick though, I though like bringing the Time Shift stone back to revive him, and then going to go get fruit to make him better is a hell of a lot easier than the stealth and what you have to do in Faron. But that's just me, I don't really feel any which way about the third and final part of Skyward Sword.
It IS easier, I will definitely agree. However, to argue my point, the mechanic to talk to him is literally a 3D autoscroller, which is just yet more padding - Chugga has already complained about this enough. And then going to Faron for what you have to do there? Yes, a really clever idea, but a very simple fetch quest that just puts you in Faron for two second - for what? For convenience? As if you haven't already gone there enough? I will admit that you do a lot more for Lanayru for his section of the Song than you do for Eldin, but still. They are both just very bad trails. This whole section of the game, starting from revisiting Eldin for an escort mission, could have been so much better. :c
I personally like stealth areas quite a bit, I loved the Forsaken Fortress in Wind Waker, though I agree this could have been executed better. Though I wouldn't say this would be better as a trial given to you by the Fire Dragon, that it isn't just suggests that the Fire Dragon isn't as ridiculous and is smarter than the water dragon if the fire dragon doesn't require you to do some trial. Seriously, the water dragon pretty much says "Well, you saved my life and you are certainly the Goddess's chosen hero, but instead of giving you the part of the song entrusted to me by the goddess, I am going to make you go do this meaningless task instead of letting you have it. Oh, you say that time is very short, the Imprisoned has already escaped several times, and you only have so much time to spare until it ends up escaping without you nearby to stop it or escaping for good and destroying everything? Well, too bad, you have to do this time-consuming and pointless task anyway."
Well, I actually love the 4th revisit to the lava area! I like the parts in games where, you are completely defenseless, and you have to get all your items back without getting caught. You know the area like the back of your hand, but it's somewhat different. And you have to find ways to get where you need to go. I LOVE stealth missions! It's fun for me. It's exciting!
Honestly, I love the flooded faron woods section and the stealth portion actually made me more excited about the game, because there's a challenge again after being so overpowered with all those items and a god sword.
Bruddahs and sisters it is once again time to pray in thanks for the wonderful bounty of entertainment our pun lord and savior chuggaconroy has provided for us today
this area is actually my personal favorite, because it takes away your items, and helps you find new uses, as well as see what you would have done with them at a earlier point of the game. so i found this section very interesting my first time, because of the limitation you receive which causes you to think differently.
0:23 Ya know Emile that was involved in episode 13 of the Zelda TV show when Link and Zelda found the Triforce of Power Link realized he'd be out of a job a few wacky things later he keeps his job cause he accidentally freed Ganon so Zelda's so furious what does he have to say for himself? "Excuuuse me princess!"
I used to read game guides as bedtime stories. Prima's Phantom Hourglass guide mixed up the characters Salvatore and Fuzo, the cannon game guy and Eddo's apprentice. Their character bios had their names swapped. Also, 13:34 NO, DON'T TOUCH THAT!
"I know this place like the back of my hand" - Chuggaaconroy Given how you proceeded to go completely the wrong way I feel this continuation of the phrase used in 'Robots' is apropriate: *actually looks at back of hand* "Hey that's new" *proceeds to get flung away by a transporter*
Out of the three dragons we have to meet, this is by far the most memorable and my absolute favorite. It's my second favorite thing in the game, next to the entirety of Ancient Cistern.
I just noticed that the Bokoblins didn't take his harp.
Not even your enemies want that item.
tsukinoakuma
Nice.
They saw what Silent Realms were like and they were all like NOPE!!!!!!
13:27 "Just follow my moves and sneak around. Be careful not to make a sound." Chugga is a meme connoisseur.
The last thing we need him to do is cross the memes.
Hi there. Normie trash
Benoit Elizondo o.o
The Meme Connoisseur was the most annoying sidequest in Breath of the Wild
Sweetmamaschilipancakes Is that an insult or a complement...?
The next time you see a dung beetle, from now on, you should call it a waft-wing.
Okay I can understand that going through the same area over and over gets boring fast but I actually loved this part of Skyward Sword. A lot. This is one of my favorite parts.

Azura Raijin
I didn't like the stealth, but I do like the night sky esque feel you get from the eruption
idk i agree with chugga mostly on the tadtones but yeah I actually like this part and the lanayru one
My heart still burns with the warmth that was chugga's last statement in yesterday's video.
Wilfred Cthulu omg same xD
which one was that?
I kinda like this section personally.

They apparently understand how useless the harp is, too.

It also made me get creative with my stuff as I found it :)
Am I the only one who really enjoyed this area? Yes, I know it's padding, but I thought it taught you to use items that are now redundant, like the Slingshot, and put a new spin on an old area.
Just hearing that We Are Number One lyric come out of his mouth made my day even if it's basically a dead meme.
It's the only meme that is saving a man's life. Therefore, it will never die.
The GoFundMe page is still up and people are still donating to help pay for his treatment, which is still going underway.

I excuse this repetition because this is my favorite stealth mission in the series. It's one of my favorite parts of the game.
I love these kinds of missions. They're always placed at the point where you're entirely dependant on your items. These missions strip you of everything and force you to go back to the beginning when you had nothing!
Emile: "Just follow my moves and sneak around be careful not to make a sound.."
Link: "BUUUUGGG"
Bruddas, it is with great pride that I present the new video that our pun lord and saviour chuggaaconroy has created for us. Amen.
How did the bokoblins take the master sword if only the chosen hero can have it?
That Guy Well only Link can wield it, but it is still just a sword- nothing prevents a Bokoblin from just picking it up off the ground.
Not to mention that Ghirahim can steal it and still use it.
+FORMINCRAFTIA Blade of Evil's Bane. Girahim would likely burn to a crisp if he attempted to pick it up and steal it. Remember that no evil being can touch it due to the scare power that dwells within. And I don't think the Bokoblins stole it more like it was knocked off his back and flung up at the top of the mountain.
Fairydragon12 but he did steal it and does touch it... in the first battle... but Ghirahim is a sword spirit, so... maaaybe he's an exception?
Shhh~"
Gosh, that part was the best meme ever.
How did they take your sword?! It's the master sword! They can't touch it! This makes no sense!
It's in a sheath, they can touch that (but not use the sword itself).
tombking34 Man, if only Ganondorf figured that out.
THEY DIDN'T. IT FELL.
Shwah Gamers besides maybe it might be they can hold it but never use its power
This is actually my favorite of the last region visits, and one of my favorite parts of the game. Losing all your items and sneaking around to get them back was pretty cool in my opinion.
I love the use of item in the Oracle games. Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. No item is useless. I'm constantly switching what I'm using. Hell, the most "useless" item, the shovel (yes a shovel)(sorry shovel knight), is use- NEEDED in a later mid boss fight.
Odd Wright Same with Link's Awakening (except for the fire rod, but only because you get it at the very end).
I loved this part tbh. It was really fun trying to sneak past the bokos to get my stuff back and using what I could in the moment to get through. Honestly had a lot of fun with it.
13:30 We are number one
"Hey everybody, it's Chuggaaconroy and welcome back to more Metal Gear Zelda."
the video name sounds like something straight out of Sonic
Lava Reef Zone is the joke.
13:29 I was so happy when you mentioned that
For those who are now wondering what Link does after saving the world; That depends on the game.
I can explain a few examples that at least make sense to me.
*SPOILERS TO SEVERAL ZELDA GAMES! CONTINUE AT YOUR OWN RISK!*
The Wind Waker Link goes on to try and discover new land after defeating Ganondorf, and we see a part of this journey in Phantom Hourglass (After that game, Link most likely went on to discover the New Hyrule and marries Tetra after establishing the new kingdom and it needing a king and queen. This makes sense because the Zelda in Spirit Tracks makes a direct mention to Tetra in the final battle, and the royal guard outfit is basically the same as Wind Waker Link's Tunic. [The Spirit Track Link's future after the game is actually decided by the player, so I don't need to explain any more of this timeline.])
Since the Twilight Princess Link starts off on a Ranch (and Epona's Song is also known there), It would make sense that this Link descended from Malon after she took over and most likely moved Lon Lon Ranch.
My thoughts exactly! WAY too much complaining.
I'm fine with the complaining, chugga praises so much in games so it's a nice change of pace.
Oh no! This game pulled the old Metroid Prime trick!
Darkstar248 The old Switcharoo
That's a good comparison because you get to use some power-ups before losing them. However, Metroid Prime does this at the BEGINNING of the game, and it doesn't make you traverse the same tiny part of the map for a fourth time to find something that you've been using all along. When there is backtracking, it's quick, and you can enjoy the scenery. New items don't pop up in places you already explored thoroughly, certainly not 20 or more hours into the game. If there is something you can't obtain during your first visit, you can grab it later at your leisure, but it's never forced upon you.
Aquotron Since you want to get technical, they pulled a Zero Mission.
They totally did! Thanks for reminding me about Zero Mission. It did feel kind of tacky.
I CHOKED ON MY DRINK WHEN CHUGGA BEGAN SINGING WE ARE NUMBER ONE.
THANK YOU CHUGGAACONROY YOU MADE MY NIGHT AND ALSO NEARLY KILLED ME.
Uh two questions:
Well the Master Sword is in its sheath so they could touch that.
One possibility might be that Ghirahim might want to kill Link personally after his embarrassing defeat last time link was in this area and ordered the bobokins to capture him so that Ghiraham gets the joy of killing Link himself.
17:58 “anything that you can float down a river of lava in is quite luxurious”
Laughs in mud boat from Mario sunshine
16:30 You didn't even talk to the Gossip Stone... :(
I love this part of the game so much. the idea of being stripped of your power and having to find clever ways of getting around/killing enemies is awesome to me.
And it was on this day theat Chuggaa quoted we are number oneThis is going down in history
This was actually one of my favorite parts of Skyward Sword. To me, it never felt like like was just climbing the volcano again.
Chuggaa made a we are number one joke
Me: NO! Yes! NO! YES! What do i really want anymore.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Mitts
I LOVED the stealth section! It felt so tense going through enemy territory and regaining your items like a scavenger. It was awesome! Can't wait to see what Emile thinks of it.
Next LP should be Mario and Luigi partners in time.
Luke Detering Agreed. although i would never play it myself again haha
Personally i'm hoping for BW.

I'm hoping for Xenoblade Chronicles X

Link, I get that you lost your items, but you didn't lose your brain. You know that they have trumpets that they call for reinforcements with. You had a running start, and even without your sword you could probably take out a single Bokoblin with a running front kick.
Woo stealth section! I love this bit it's like Metal Gear Link I enjoyed it the most out of Padding of the Hero
last time i was this early it was The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - Episode 64: Most Grateful
I wonder how many people wait for chuggaa to post.
i wait for him to post but i dont refresh, i just know he uploads on the same time every day he uploads and when he does not upload due to following his twitter
00:20
Actually, I have had a thought for a while about Link's second career.
I just realized that even the Bokoblins didn't want Link's harp.
Worst player's guide? You don't mean that Super Mario RPG one, right?
I appreciate that Chugga says this game isn't nearly as bad as people say it is, but doesn't try to hide the parts where the game really falls apart.
Shouldn't the redundant item counter go up for the items you get back?
13:33 Chuggaa + We Are Number One... My Life of MEMES ARE COMPLETELY FILLED TO THE BRIM!
HeroofEnelios He literally says he gets no joy from it whatsoever. What else could he be saying?
I don't think he has a problem with the actual segment, just the fact that it's the fourth time they've used the same area.
+JJ Slider He just finds it unexciting. I don't blame him. Making you climb Eldin Volcano a fourth time is pretty lazy game design.
cuz like he said you're going up the same mountain for the 4th time. and as he stated certain restrictions exist to make it go longer rather than keeping to mechanics that the game has taught you.
this was the first video I can remember watching of Chuggaconroy, that being why it's my favorite video.
What happens if you get spotted while you're digging?
The Amiibo Show As far as I know that can't happen. Everything, including monsters, kind of pause when the digging action is in use.
I guess you could say Chuggaa LAVAS this section of the game
Logan Horner normies get of my stream reeeee
13:29 LMAO Chuggaaconroy you never fail to make me laugh :)
Jaimaylaymii Technically, Lanayru doesn't make you do anything, either.
Then again, he can't because...well, we'll wait until we get there.
It's exciting!

hi
welp this is me you are the real first comment!
Honestly, I love the flooded faron woods section and the stealth portion actually made me more excited about the game, because there's a challenge again after being so overpowered with all those items and a god sword.

13:29 Yes... The meme has finally gotten onto this one.
I personally loved this part of the game. It was a nice breathe of fresh air considering how many times i've gone through the mountain.
this area is actually my personal favorite, because it takes away your items, and helps you find new uses, as well as see what you would have done with them at a earlier point of the game. so i found this section very interesting my first time, because of the limitation you receive which causes you to think differently.
A Sonic pun as the title?

I AM SOLD!
I loved this part so much. I've been waiting for ages for this episode to arrive
And thus, villain interest in Chuggaaconroy's channel has skyrocketed.
this is among the few revisits that stuck with me years after playing, was fun for me really fun
19:14 yes, knocking someone off of a watch tower and into lava where they will then be burned alive is only "kind of mean"
Again, anybody else love this section? Sneaking around the volcano with no way to defend yourself is so fun.
"Out of This World" I never knew you would make a reference to a game like that.
In the ocarina of time 3D guide, it show there's a heart piece on the left of hyrule castle when there really isn't.
This was my favorite part of skyward sword, and chuggaa made it 10x better!
**sees the thing at **13:34**, draws a huge curtain** Don't let your kids watch it!
15:43 I guess even the Bokoblins don't like the harp since they didn't take it from you.
This is literally the only thing I look forward to. I'm not depressed, just bored.
"I know this place like the back of my hand" - Chuggaaconroy
Given how you proceeded to go completely the wrong way I feel this continuation of the phrase used in 'Robots' is apropriate:
*actually looks at back of hand*
"Hey that's new"
*proceeds to get flung away by a transporter*
Out of the three dragons we have to meet, this is by far the most memorable and my absolute favorite. It's my second favorite thing in the game, next to the entirety of Ancient Cistern.
Wow I think this is the most I've ever disagreed with Emile on anything. This is what happens when I've actually played a game before he does his LP.
it's kind of surprising how you don't like 2 out of 3 song of the hero parts while the entire thing is the highlight of my playthrough
When chuggaa got the mogma mitts back I though he was going to say he was starting from the "GROUND" up.
