- Hello and welcome to Camp Xbox. On todays agenda is a review of the 2005 classic original Xbox game Ultimate Spiderman which was released on most modern consoles at the time. You play as Marvel Comics Spiderman swinging around New York in a stylish cel-shaded world.
this is literally nostalgia i played this so much at my dads friends house he loved older games and anytime i hear the music in the background it takes me back.
This game was actually canon to the comic for awhile until Brian Michael Bendis finally decided he wanted to tell the story in a comic
This game is a pleasant surprise tbh. It has the basics you want for a spidy game. Good traversal, simple combat/controls, pick up and play friendly. And ya, the graphics are basically timeless.
Used to have this game on the GameCube was one of the first games I ever played:) replayed it on the original Xbox a few weeks ago and my only complaint is that this game is VERY short (2-3 hours at most)
Yo just stumbled upon your channel. Checking out all your vids. Loving the content! Been subbed to a guy for a while now who just specializes in N64 games. Nice to have found you now who does just OG Xbox. Had this exact Spidey game back in the day and I think it's the best Spidey game ever. Anyhow just subbed and looking forward to watching your new Batman video. (I see Batman Begins in the thumbnail which was my jam.)

can u play this on the newer xbox?
No it is not backwards compatible on the One or Series consoles. It's only backwards compatible on the 360. I wish it was though because it's an excellent game!
