I have been extremely thorough when searching and exploring and yet I still missed many secrets and hidden items, I realised after evaluations. I'm going to start investing hard in deductions.
I’m playing my first playthrough completely blind as to not spoil anything for myself watching walkthroughs first. Then I’ll do a 2nd playthrough using walkthroughs to 100% the game
Literally just walk around whenever your not fighting with the left trigger held down. It puts a little green circle on anything you can investigate. Don’t need to Invest in deduction to get that. I’ve had A grade every level so far I get the feeling there’s one level higher but I’m not feeling bad with an A each time
I just bought it yesterday on sale on xbox. It was only 30$ it is worth it and more. Had no clue it was seni open world or that Murphys orginal va was involved. The gore, combat, story, setting, 80s feel/vibe. The gore is super cool and necessary. Really feels like a movie and its a small AA studio. Great graohics
I've already lost some situations due to distraction 🙄 and i have 13hours on this... If i back in some level or save point, I will lose all experience already collected, right?
Really really really praying they add NG+ to this masterpiece and while I know that’s a lot to ask,it definitely is something everyone’s got on their minds because of the sheer amount of replay ability in the game itself
Maxing out deduction first is a must. I was very thorough and found just about every crime evidence you could find and do every side objective. By the end of the game I had every skill maxed except for scanning (1 point) and focus (only 6 to get the double crits). So without deduction you can really miss out on xp and greatly limit your build on the first run. But now new game + dropped no fret as your skill points carry over
I say you can max out Deduction to start racking in EXP to get more skills via notes/combat and then even out the tree to get the offensive/defensive buffs for the later gun fights. And it pays to explore, as you will find parts for the Auto 9's chipset and could potentially complete a side objective from just grabbing evidence (as was the case going back to bank heist and you have to Arrest Samatha Ortiz to get your full 3000 XP payout for each main mission complete, just as you have to kill the Arcade Owner to get his connections potentially on the desk). Don't worry, you can balance out and get her to like you again via the Domestic Terrorist Mission.
Low level chips can be useful to keep weapon spread low, sometimes you need to put a chip on those slots to open up new paths and if you use big percentage chips on those your gun is going to be nearly useless. I didn't realize this until later when one of my higher level boards was almost maxed out on spread and I couldn't land a single shot in the range.
NEVER MERGE YOUR CHIPS!! it's a completely random garbage mechanic which will likely only end up reducing your options, your trading 3 chips for 1 completely random chip it doesn't add up the percentages of the chips you merge, it's not even more likely to be a higher % based on the % of the chips you merge and of course the node directions are also completely random
I also maxed out deduction first then put 6 points into engineering so I could open safes. I've earned every trophy except for that 10 minute story combat challenge against the bots. When I reached that part in the story I didn't have a strong enough build for my gun & skills to wipe out all five waves within the time limit. That won't be an issue when NG+ is put out, confirmed for early this year.
Second skill? Psycho since it gives you the ability to 'unlock' some dialogs which allow smoother persuation AND since lvl 6 you can see the 'favorable' answers in dialogs so you do not get nobody angry
psychology is useless, as talking to people plays a smaller part of the game then combat does. And if I selected and I felt what dialogue choices I made didn't really effect the game much for me. I beat the game with only one point in it. Later on the enemies get tougher and it's better to start investing in the other skills.
I want this game the only thing I may not like is 1st person shooting mode I like to see the full body view of robo but I like this mode to I just wish they had both view modes
Really fun game. But should have had an option for 3rd person and robocop should've been able to cruise his police whip to avoid some on foot trekking. Not even far. Just around the city to help with searchin around. Otherwise, I'm diggin it
I was thinking about this earlier. I was toying in my head with the idea of third person cover ala R6:Vegas or Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I really just wish you could see your body and shadow though.
Didn’t know that about Deduction, that would’ve been super helpful! I put my first points in Engineering, so I could control turrets. Didn’t need that til the end, but it was cool to have! As was safe cracking and some helpful dialogue options. My biggest tip would be: focus on those Auto-9 chip boards! You can vary your sidearm immensely and make it the best gun in the game, like ALL you need!
If you swap your gun boards during cut scenes you can get the full auto and auto gun loader early on and its op af, think it’s a glitch cause i died reloaded a checkpoint and the auto gun loader wasnt working. Just changed the board again next cut scene and all worked again 😂
It’s crazy because I swear I went to every part of the city got everything that I could see and do, but I still somehow i still manage to miss stuff that’s crazy. He drives me nuts.
Thank you - great tips! question: how do you single-fire the Auto 9 like that? I am on PC (Steam) and hitting the default X is not doing anything. is an upgrade required?
You see I’ve completed this 3 times now and I just don’t think the game is long enough to dump all upgrades into deduction straight away I prefer to put it into engineering for the chip points for auto9
Just finished the game a half an hour ago and I *REALLY* hope Teyon puts New Game+ in this...if they don't I'll start over and dump my first 10 points into Deduction. I was able to get 5 of the 8 skills completely maxed out from finding all the OCP Data Disks in mission, police work, collecting evidence, and bagging baddies. Doing the math with all those bonuses, I should be able to get a heckuva lot more Great vid tho, wish the search engine gods graced me with this sooner
@Silver749 I imagine if the dialog and social interaction component was deeper a la Mass Effect it would make more sense. But yeah I was extremely thorough so I should be able to match that, though I did let some people off with warnings. Anything that was a blatant violation like littering/public intoxication/vandalism/illegally parked got tickets. Did every side quest at the police station, downtown, and everywhere else. I should be in good shape following your guidelines
The devs are working on NG+ they confirmed it on SM posts. They said it will be included in the next patch early in 2024. I need my end game gun & skills build to get that blasted trophy wiping out all those waves of bots in under 10 mins. It's the only trophy I need for the platinum. My end game gun build with no reloads, constant fire destroyed the score in the shooting gallery :)
@@lambo2655 yup, I saw Teyon's post on Twitter the other day and decided to put my second playthrough on hold till it drops. Watching another channel I did find a comment that if you put all your points into Deduction and max it out first and find every piece of evidence, bag every baddie, and find all secrets, you'll be about to get 7 out of 8 skills completely maxed out because of the additional XP bonuses you get from having high Deduction skills. Which is good to know if you're start over form scratch. Perhaps I'll do that on a higher difficulty level

Do we agree that chips are not all the same for each motherboard ? I can’t figure how it works, but for example, I have an unused 19% chip on one motherboard, and if I pick another board, this “unused” chip isn’t available anymore.. Unless it is linked to the motherboard level (2.1 / 3.2 / 4.1…) ?
@@wiiztec no, I meant that 19% chip is in the stock shelf on the left, not actually ON the motherboard. (I'm french so my english might be clumsy). So that chip is available for one board but not for others, whether on the board or on the shelf...
There is the "Good Eyes Murphy" trophy in the game that requries level 3 engineering that is easily missable(perhaps before mid-game), so that's also something to think about...

Just about to give this a start. Thanks for the heads up.
Please, tell me we get a 3rd chance at downtown so I can do the court mission that I missed !
@Silver749 I learnt that the hard way...
Absolutely worthless video.
1. Invest early points into deduction.
2. Merge chips for Auto-9.
I just saved you 5 minutes.
except the second one is garbage advice

Do we agree that chips are not all the same for each motherboard ? I can’t figure how it works, but for example, I have an unused 19% chip on one motherboard, and if I pick another board, this “unused” chip isn’t available anymore..
Unless it is linked to the motherboard level (2.1 / 3.2 / 4.1…) ?
I think you're confused, if the chip is on a motherboard than it is used, there is no unused chips on motherboards
@@wiiztec no, I meant that 19% chip is in the stock shelf on the left, not actually ON the motherboard. (I'm french so my english might be clumsy).
So that chip is available for one board but not for others, whether on the board or on the shelf...
@@Eleshai I have not noticed that happening to me, you're not changing the sort category without noticing or something right?
@@wiiztec nope.. It's like some chips are compatible with some boards and not with others...
Wasnt there a similar trophy list in terminator resistance with the skill tree like deduction etc
It is the same people who made terminator
It's the ai bad though? How are the enemies?
It's average. Not too smart, not too stupid. Usually don't rushing you though, so you can stay behind the wall if you need some time for break
Sympa cette video !
solid game
After finishing the game, does your skill points carry over?
No. No new game plus whatsoever.
Thanks.
Great video!
Thank You
This game is a joke. So tedious and boring
I don't know what more you want from a 1st person shooter.
There is the "Good Eyes Murphy" trophy in the game that requries level 3 engineering that is easily missable(perhaps before mid-game), so that's also something to think about...
You don’t need lvl 3 engineering for that. There’s a way to move the train without it.
How’s that?
@@Brajzah there’s a file you can find in the area that allows Robocop to move the train

@Silver749I’ll try reloading a save and check it out, thanks.
Definitely not playing this game till I can pick up a cheap physical copy 2nd hand from local gaming shop, it looks like total shit but I still want to try playing it. There isn't even the correct muzzle flash from the auto 9, or even its correct sound. Couple of the many fails from just watching clips like this.
Just got my refund. Terrible game.
"Dater"?
