Loved you're opinion on shite collectibles that mean nothing. I feel too many games have that sort of thing in there only to marginally increase the hours spent on the game as it looks good on paper. Its the collectables that can actually improve or change gameplay in some way, that are actually engaging and fun to hunt for👍
Imo the best PCB board are the two that give you single shot option for Auto 9 with more damage (with the 1st one never take the split bullet or half you shots never land). It's so strong in end game it was stronger than 50 cal pistol (deagle) and never ran out of ammo as you have 70 or so mag and unlimited ammo. All the auto once with Armor piercing felt generally weaker imo. I melted the end boss so fast it was shocking.
Honestly Mac, I love how menial nature of some of the side-quests. The concept of a Multi-Million Dollar Cyborg blowing off a dozen heads one minute and issuing parking tickets the next feels very on-brand with the OG Robocop. First game I've pre-ordered in 5 years and it's worth every penny so far. Teyon outdid themselves after their Redemption Run with Terminator: Resistance and I'm stoked to see what they have planned next!
This is why we love Mack -- he DOES play the cerebral indie games, but he's also a simple man: "I love this game, because you can blow off people's faces." Haha. Hell to the YEAH. Sold! Ty Mack.
I already bought this and having fun! It's certainly nothing game breaking but just good old fashioned shootem up. I just dont understand the auto 9 upgrade merging chips thing...
The modules on the left have a % score and the circuit board on the right has electricity flowing around it so you slot the modules to keep the power flowing around it, you can direct the power with the way the modules are open or closed on their sides. The % score of the modules effects the perks on the circuit board so for example if you drop a 20% module on a damage slot you get 20% extra damage. The red slots take your stats down.
The enemies towards the end of the game take so much damage. I hate the armored mercs so much, especially the ones that boost morale, they take endless amounts of punishment. The prison level, I hated it so much. At that point, I didn't feel like Robocop HAHAH. I do love the game though, and it's one of the only games recently, that I want to keep going back to. Because besides some of those awful bullet sponge enemies, and some obvious jank, I love how it feels. You feel like Robocop.
this appears to me as a great nod to the oldtimey close quarters gore-loaded 90s FPS. you know *THE STUFF THEYRE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO ANYMORE BECAUSE IT MAKES KIDS GO VIOLENT WHILE TIKTOK IS TOTALLY OK.* soldier of fortune comes to mind.
Lemmings bro, rock and roll doesn't make you a Satanist and violent games make you less violent irl. Idkr since I've been born, probably 7-8 million people killed in endless war.
I remember being about 12 and getting SOF2. I'm pretty certain the box had a big section about how advanced the ghoul gore system was. Love my parents lol.
Can you turn the hit markers off? They are so distracting I wanna see the hit impacts not look at ui telling me I killed someone xD (although for robocop it makes more sense than other games)
This was the reason why we got in to games at the very start.. mindless violent fun! Games have become way too pretentious & laborious of late. This game comes along says "WHAT IS THIS SHIIIIIIIIIIT?" LOL & brings back the glory vibe. Will so need to play this. RoboCop the film is a Masterpiece. 🖤
Just completed this and I was sad it was over. Great game. I actually listened to the dialogue because I enjoyed the character building of Robocop and his relationships with the other characters.
Robocop the real original movie was ultra violent for its time. The scene where the guy is immersed in toxic waste and then gets splattered all over the car Clarence is driving, epic scene.
Great Game and Teyon really captured the essence of the first film... the voice acting for the one actor playing the bad guys is questionable but i suppose it saved on money.. I think they were going after a similar voice of the 2 guys that terrorise the woman in the first movie, very similar... But overall this would've been easy to balls up but they've done a superb job.. Now we need DLC or a New Game + mode
One of the late game Motherboards for the gun is amazing. Infinite ammo with no reload, letting you become a hail of bullets that wipe down everything in your way. Perfect for the final stretch.

@@dp-g5i What I want to see (and will never see) is Terminator returning to it's roots as a SLASHER movie, not a sci-fi. Give us a scary Terminator!
Will robo cop run well on my I5 9600K and MSI 2070 super? My pc has been able to handle everything the past couple years.
I love the heat rap. You'd make a great chap hopper. :D
Was that a new song? I don't recall ever hearing that one before.
I got this instead of Spider-man 2. I am not disappointed. One of the most surprisingly fun games I’ve played in a long time.
The Robocop soundtrack is amazing
the game is missing the trick shots that Robocop would do. Should have added it as meter that you can build up to use.
I heard it’s there as an upgrade of his skill tree.
@DialloMoore503 yes you can unlock a ricochet mechanic
5:25 frog starts speaking 🐸
Honestly Mac, I love how menial nature of some of the side-quests. The concept of a Multi-Million Dollar Cyborg blowing off a dozen heads one minute and issuing parking tickets the next feels very on-brand with the OG Robocop.
First game I've pre-ordered in 5 years and it's worth every penny so far. Teyon outdid themselves after their Redemption Run with Terminator: Resistance and I'm stoked to see what they have planned next!
idk how your channel is still so small, you are the best game reviewer out there.
So damn good... always been a Robocop huge fan since i was a kid in the 80s and this game really really satisfied the aim in my opinion!!!
That heat montage went hard
This is why we love Mack -- he DOES play the cerebral indie games, but he's also a simple man: "I love this game, because you can blow off people's faces."
Haha. Hell to the YEAH. Sold! Ty Mack.
glad its good, Terminator was awesome. i just hope they do a Judge Dredd next
I love hearing the glee in your voice, man. It's great.
Another amazing review, ❤️ this game, didn't expect a skill tree and such good RPG elements, a few hours in & it's still exciting AF
@@WorthABuyreviews I've merged a few and always end up getting a less %. Weird how a 16/16/16 gives me a 13 lol.
Yes! A nostalgic power fantasy game.
when is the mixtape dropping
You better be right about this Mac, I've just purchased it on your recommendation.
Helping someone find a video sounds great!! I miss blockbuster 😭
game felt about an inch deep to me, kind of reminded me of old games like time crisis how every corner you turn 12 guys pop up
The enemies towards the end of the game take so much damage. You feel like Robocop.
this appears to me as a great nod to the oldtimey close quarters gore-loaded 90s FPS.
you know *THE STUFF THEYRE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO ANYMORE BECAUSE IT MAKES KIDS GO VIOLENT WHILE TIKTOK IS TOTALLY OK.*
soldier of fortune comes to mind.
@@GangsterFrankensteinComputer yeah double helix was quite the banger.
Can you turn the hit markers off? They are so distracting I wanna see the hit impacts not look at ui telling me I killed someone xD (although for robocop it makes more sense than other games)
Where can I buy that song? 🤔
I had a blast playing this, definitely recommended 👍
This was the reason why we got in to games at the very start.. mindless violent fun! Games have become way too pretentious & laborious of late. This game comes along says "WHAT IS THIS SHIIIIIIIIIIT?" LOL & brings back the glory vibe. Will so need to play this. RoboCop the film is a Masterpiece. 🖤
Just completed this and I was sad it was over. Great game. I actually listened to the dialogue because I enjoyed the character building of Robocop and his relationships with the other characters.
I don't have a bright green circle above the evidence parts. Just barely visible green text. Do you guys know a way to fix that?
Sad news about Guy Fawkes. RIP my dude. 😞🪦
bought it yesterday, loving it. how to adapt an IP
I find it a little too expensive at the moment, but I will definitely pick it up when it sees a price drop.
6:27 The gun had no choice but to dance to Mack's latest song!
We needed Robocop back in some format so I'm happy with the game
1:09 YOU LOVE IT! YAY!
I almost bought Avatar:FoP instead.
Robocop it is!
Since they did a decent job with Terminator and seemingly Robocop too, it would be interesting to see what they would do with a Robocop Versus Terminator game. 😉
i like how we're seeing more AA games take the spotlight
Facts....
I have more faith in AA than AAA Titles ...(Depending on who the AAA Devs are of course)....
But Yea AA Devs are showing out lol
Honestly, at this point, Indie and AA is the only way to go, and probably will be for quite some time lol
amazing how fast the interest in your game grows when you give the fanbase exactly what they want amirite?
too bad most of the corpo world doesn't understand that
Happy to support these devs, AA industry and indies are videogame's last hope.
I bought the ultimate edition 🔥ive put into psychology focus and armour ,,ive heard psychology is a important one
"It's not Guy Fawkes, he's dead" 😂
It’s not guy fawkes… he’s ded
😂
Thank you for clarifying that, Mack
