    Good explanation, Bunny. You may like to add here, that one should NOT use the brake pedal when not required. Shift to P mode or N mode and use the hand brake / electric park brake, even at STOP lights. This is applicable for both EV and automatic gearbox cars, so as to keep the drive train components in free wheel mode when stationary. Moreover, keeping the brake pedal pressed, consumes battery as it has to keep 27Wx2 halogen bulbs or lesser wattage LEDs lighted. Not to mention, it adds to the reflective pollution to the driver behind.

    I think for initial cost perspective one should compare Punch EV with a proper automatic cars like Venue dct or sonet dct or nexon DCA and not with punch amt. Punch ev except for its shape is totally different and the driving pleasure of an ev cannot be compared with its amt sibling. Features are another advantage all together

      Bhai agar daily running 120 km hai to month ka 2500 and saal ka 30k km hua . 5 year mein you will be able to cross the warranty of punch ev that is 1.6 lakh km. Tab tak aap kaafi paisa bacha chuke honge karib 7-8 lakh. Battery will not cost more than 4 lakh and battery saari ek saath kharab nahi hote. 4 saal baad you can get individual cell change maximum cost wouls be 50-60 k

      For heavy use with access to chargers at both ends...EV makes total sense. The Battery doesn't die after 8 years. It will hold less charge so instead of 280km range today, I'll give 220km or 80% depending on the degradation...still more than 120km. LFP battery has 3000 cycles..so you are good till 9,00,000kms

      Yes They do affect battery life. To mitigate the effect it's suggested to charge till 85% on fast chargers.
      Only make it to 100% before a long trip.

      If you do back to back fast charging, yes. Plus you will also end up paying more for running cost. There is a BIG difference in Charging at home vs fast charging in terms of costing

      @danielvipin7163 3 месяца назад

      No bro, 3 phase connection is needed to supply with 7.2kw.
      When your electricity bill comes you can check and see if its written as 3-5kva then its single phase and needs to upgraded to 3 phase for 11kva + , to support 7.2kwh fast charger.

    Bunny bhai I travel to Indore from Bhopal thrice in a month which is 200km one side! Rest of the time I drive in city! Saal mein ek baar I travel with family to a max of 600 kms for a vacation by road! I feel it will still make sense to me! But will it make sense if I sell by 7 year old diesel car to buy this? Seeing diesel has no future ahead & jitna late karunga resale bhi nahi milega! Upfront cost phir zyada padegi aagey chal ke! Correct me if m wrong

      So TATA is doing pure marketing through miscommunication. The EV cannot take more charge than it can accept. The punch can max take 27kW at peak, so whether you connect 150kW charger or 360kW or 30kW the speed will be same. So always tata evs should stick to 30Kw chargers coz anything more they are wasting money and if there is an EV waiting that can accept faster charge...dont block that charger.

    The idea of moving to electric car technology is sustainability. When we recharge car batteries at night, the power that we use is all coal powered, as solar is available during the day only. Besides, a home charger is either equal to 2 or 4 air conditioners! So would request you to promote workplace charging or sunday-daytime charging as against overnight charging. 🙏

    • @kulbhusahnk8874

      Bhai kindly get the knowledge about solar panel projects and how it works... To explain you in brief, the power generated is stored with your local electricity providers and will come to you through them and they adjust with your generated units against your consumed units every month ...

    • @MayankBhagya
      @MayankBhagya 6 месяцев назад

      @@kulbhusahnk8874 Bhai ji, electricity is never stored by the discom. Excess solar generated by our rooftops is used by our neighbors or else, if extra, sent back to the substation by our transformer where it is sent to GROUND! Please google for "curtailment". 🙏

      So we shouldn't use AC as well in the summer to promote sustainability. Only solar powered acs. AN EV even with coal powered is 4x more efficient than ICE

      The cost and pollution for pumping out the crude oil, importing to our country and then refining the crude to make petroleum products and then shipping those petroleum to our petrol pumps through big diesel trucks is alone causing a ton of pollution.
      Don't even bother calculating the emissions that ICE cars produce when they burn petroleum in ICE engine at 30% efficiency, the rest 60-70% energy is wasted in head disbursement. So all this for just driving few miles here and there, such a waste
      So yes please educate yourself and then speak.
