TATA has an upper hand in the EV segment, no doubts on that ! No wonder one sees so many Nexon and Tiago EVs on the roads these days. Thanks for the updates and putting forth key aspects required for testing for consumers, Bunny !
Whether it is EV⚡ or Fuel ⛽. The milage completely depends on your drive habits and road conditions.

💯 however in EVs you can idle for hours and hours without worrying unlike Ice... with less than 1kW consumption per hour.... so a 35kWh can idle for 35 hours with AC...
Not true. Driving habits contribute to maybe 20%. Rest is on the vehicle’s efficiency.

Very good review..this is what I was expecting...it would come less than 110 wh/km without ac ..when we need to travel for longer distances.. Request you do the same review from 100% to 10% discharge..
No need to do that because with 30 percent battery he achieved 92km, with same driving pattern he will achieve 276km with 90 percent battery consumption
but it doesn't mean you will get same range everywhere because lots of factors come in to play like elevation, ac on or off, driving pattern with use of regen, speed, mode etc
My tiago does around 100wh /km.. I also do frequent charging in Shell where you have done..
Ideal for city usage, daily to office. I do avg 50 kms on Punch EV LR now.

What is the point in testing range with only 75% battery. Car Should be fully charged to get the better Idea
Hey great test but 70-80Kmph is pretty slow on the highway. I know that’s where these small EVs are most efficient but what would be the range when cruising at 100Kmph?

Hello. Although this was a 120kW charger at Shell, the Punch EV can only take in a max of 27 kWh speed. The LR version has a 35 kWh battery. This means for about 20-90% charge, the Punch EV will take one hour. From this station or a 60 kW station or a 30kW station
Punch EV LR top end model gives me 300km range on full charge.
Tata’s claim of 421km is bullshit. That is possible only if you drive without AC, speed up to max 40kmph & stick with L3 regenerative braking. That’s not practical. I wish Tata would be refreshingly forthright in mentioning realistic range alongside ideal conditions range. Honesty pays!
Fronk is part of accessory. Have to pay extra for it. Writing after test ride.

No, it will be uncomfortable for the persons in the back row. This car is ok for 5 persons only for short duration rides, say max 25-30 minutes.

No!! The batteries can weight 100-200kg and are SEALED on the lower part of the car
Wife and EV vehicles are in same category. Manage it well
Today, its like asking can we change the Engine of the car and for 2W yes it is practical and available option but not for cars till date!!

Pathetic and terrible after sales service.
Avoid tata cars if you want to avoid wasting your time, wheverver it goes to the workshop.
You will find local mechanics much better in comparison to the tata service centres. 🤣
I had to schedule my appointments with tata workshop in such a way when i have 2 3 days of free time to waste following up with them. 😅
