- In this video I restore the interior on an F10 BMW 5 Series. There are a number of wear items that break down on modern BMWs at around the 10 year mark.
This video shows me replacing the steering wheel, the radio buttons, the ash tray, cup holders, door handles, iDrive knob, shifter trim, shifter bezel and more. Doing these simple upgrades really refreshed the feeling of the interior on this car.

One thing I really like about BMW is their designs are highly standardized across models of a given era.
Yeah, a lot of things are very similar to my E90.
STICKY BUTTONS and HANDLES are the worst.....great job with the finishing touches that make the interior like new.

Thanks for the tip with the rubber rings on the door clips. That's probably the reason why I have a rattling sound. I should change mine. 👍

It looks great now! How did you fix the rear sun shade? My e92 has one and it goes up but won’t go down
The entire interior needs decreasing, I would also have polished the wood grain while it was off.. just like a painted finish!!

Wish you showed more on the rear sunshade as mine is a little reluctant in cold weather. I cannot determine where it is binding or needs lubrication.
It's extrange that right handle door isn't deteriorated.

I think you should have upgraded the steering whell to m sport version, otherwise great job!

Hey Musa, would love to see you do a headliner on any model BMW. Especially E90, and for that matter, especially if it has an N54 engine
The black laminate on those plastic parts always fade and worn out. Kinda sucks. Door handles and steering wheel.
Great video ! What was wrong with the rear shade and how did you repair it ? On my F10 it doesnt go down on its own. If I help it, it does. Going up there is no problem.

I am currently trying to upgrade my old E90 and also bought a E91 project.
2011- 328i with Halogen. I am trying to upgrade to factory HID. I already have new FRM 3, complete none adaptive headlight. What else do I need? Also wiring change?
I also have a 2007 E91 with adaptive headlight. Trying to upgrade to LCI. Also have complete LCI headlight. I already bought BMW retrofit harness. But can’t find instruction.
Noticed you were using a polishing paste on the wood trim around the gear shifter during the time lapse. What is it?
I have a 2011 z4 35is and the review mirror is loose. I’ve googled this and can’t find how to tighten it. How do I do this? It doesn’t have comfort access.
Can you post a small video on how to get the door panels to sit flush, for some reason mine wont clip back in the top part.
