Nails sell for 160 each so it's more efficient to farm and sell nails than it is to craft gunpowder
I like that there are big powerful pals but I really wish there were some smaller sized pals for the base that still had tier 4

Just increase their levels via the condenser. Suitability increases once maxed. If you really wanted to, at least….

@@SennySPM So you CAN get things like a sparkfox with level 4 kindling using the condenser? If you can't, that's exactly what I was going to suggest be added.

I love the utility of the Pals, but I just wish that all the super big ones weren't the only ones really good @ production skills. They take up so much of the screen! Maybe if - in the future - Pocket Pair lets you upgrade a Pal's utility abilities via Pal Souls, for instance, or some other method, I'd be all for it. I like the big Pals but I'm more partial to the smaller ones, myself.

@@Diablo_CSTthe bigger ones have a lot harder time with pathing, they get caught on stuff and stop working. Leave them like that long enough they’ll even starve and get knocked out.

It would make the bigge legendary ones less legendary. That’s why there’s like 5 choices at tier 3 to choose if you want that are still plenty fast

just a tip i found for farm foods: make 1x lettuce & 1x tomato or double that ( nutrition 15 as raw; same as berries) -> make salad (nutrition = 84, uses 4x ingredients. 4x cooked berries are same value ). So the nutrition value is identical but the salad has extra boost : "Eating it slightly imprroves work speed for a period of time".

Id recommend throwing down some stone mines in your mine farms with a grinder making palladium fragments, toss in some pengkings, and youll be good to go, theyll water when the grinder needs something made and theyll mine when it doesn't.

I am a HUGE fan of Verdash for planting over your recommendation. Mainly because they also transport the crops after gathering.. and will chop trees whrn crops are growing or being watered.. imo
i do a lyleen and and a vedash instead of 2 lyleens i got better results

Food alternative: lettuce + tomatoes make a salad (2 lettuce and tomatoes) . Put it in the feed box. Watch them work even faster as it givesa bonus to work speed. Do it faster rinse and repeat

In the Base with a Jormuntide, You can use a Crusher to turn stones into Paldium
Its a great game so far. also Id advise getting the green wumpas as they can help with the auto food. currently the coding for carrying is a bit wonky!
Game looks really fun when you get to a high level like this guy but at least where I am I've gotten a bit bored. I'm like level 20 and still feel so weak because I barely have some basic metal gear and the map just feels so endlessly big idk where to even go to progress

While Blazamut is great for mining, getting pals to 4 star actually levels their Work Suitability stuff by one. Doing this to Anubis gets them to lvl 4 mining, lvl 5 handiwork, and lvl 3 transport.
At my mining base I just have Anubis miners with some of them at 4 star. All of them bred to have Artisan, Serious, Runner, Swift. They ZOOM to the mining rocks as well as transport whatever they mine so fast. They have 154 work speed after fully upgrading it at the statue. But alternatively you can get 182 work speed if you have Artisan, Serious, and Work Slave on Anubis if you dont mind it running a bit slower.
Currently I am breeding Anubis for Lucky, Serious, Work Slave and Artisan i feel like having something like swift or runner are just worse than base workers

have u checked mining Speed after upgrade and compare it to lv 4 mining pal?? 🤔 not sure if its right cos lv3 kindling and lv4 making cakes diff is HUGE. might get 4 suzaku and upgrade to check it tho. D be cool cos that jormentide ignis is huge 😅
For Paldium, I think you can put a stone mining facility at the coal/ore mining base, and you have a crusher turn the rocks into paldium.
You can craft paldium using an extractor with regular stone and all you need is to build a stone resource thing and youll have endless of it
About to unlock my third base soon so I'll be able to relocate things easier later
You can essentially make any pal you like a level 4 by using pal condenser i think. The little ones have fewer path making problems
-360, 10 is where i just rebuilt my breeding-farming-manufacturing base. its on a plateau with no roads up to it. so far ive gotten a few ground raids that cant get up to me at all an zero flying raids. seems to be pretty raid proof for a main base. dunno for sure, i just built it a day ago, but so far so good
Is there any way to automate moving the cooked item to the feed box? And wheat to the mill, flour to the fire for that matter?
Astegon also has lvl 4 mining and i believe transports as well (migth be wrong) and can be bred from low lvl pals

Yup. You need his saddle for the partner skill to actually work though. Also, he is unfortunately insanely massive. Not great for a base

Im having major problems with feeding my miner base and i cant seem to fix it, any tips for it? i have 3 berry farms and 2 lyleens trying to feed 7 digtoise
Astegon also has mining level 4 and level 1 handiwork.
I think astegon is level 4 mining too and I bred him around lvl 23
(Caught a level 41 Suzaku)
If you have an astegon, they also have tier 4 in mining
My wumpo and many other larger one not all will randomly spawn outside the base or ontop of stuff getting stuck. Otherwise I would keep using my wumpos. I been finding that even logging or fast travel sometimes they are still stuck. Tried putting up walls and blocking pathing to go outside the base. I made mostly everything easy to get to. Also some of the large one goes to edge and just gets stuck rapidly going left and right on edge of the base usually cant lift them and have to take in and out of pal box to get unstuck. I have tried these pals on diff base layouts. Sadly wumpos are one of the ones I can't use at all unless I'm watching them full time.
i don’t have problems with that
i build my base on flat foundations i cut the corners out so that’s it’s like a rectangle. from there i make 3 high walls, i separate everything by AT LEAST 1 foundation. make large 2-3 wide stairs then repeat.
my pals freely move between all 5 floors hopefully something there help

Well you can get a lunaris as soon as you unlock the breeding farm with tombat and a lamball, has handywork and gathering 3. So she will help alot and that earlier.
You can breed Orserk early with Relaxasaurus and Grizzbolt

Why try and look for the Pals to catch when you can breed them at level 19 at the earliest to get them in your base ASAP?
I mean I'm willing to bet you already know this but just incase you haven't tought of it, you can turn stone into paladium with the crusher. Put blazemut on a stone pit and jormuntide on the crusher.

You dont need quartz to make palmetal but you need quarts to make the end game production lines and what not after crafting everything you dont really need anymore technically

you can actually make paldium by the fiber machine with stone i guess it needs 5 stones per1

Green coat/ammo merchant can be from the desert town, or the fishing village which is easier, Southwest most island/volcano island, follow the beach clockwise until you see the tele. There's also a general merchant/red coat which sells mega balls and a pal merchant. The black marketeer is easy enough, more of him than normal merchants on the map. But if you want, keep following the same beach of the fishing village the same direction, clockwise, you'll eventually get to the base of the volcano. There's one just before you hit the black rocky area.

also cement is easier to get if u just buy it from the small settlement from the dessert town. i jus capture a bunch of pals and sell em to get money
paldium is easy to get jus make a stone farm then use the crusher with a jormuntide
For the paldium fragment issue you could just make a stone mine in your nothen base as they would be entretained with it while quartz aren't spawned yet, then turn stone into paldium fragment. It works really well for me even though im only level 30
Got any tips for this? Currently at the coal/ore location, and despite having coal/ore nodes, they beeline for the stone quarry station...
@@SonicEdge7 Build the stone pit on a slightly raised platform with stairs for a way up. Destroy the stairs whenever you want to "disable" it.
@@SonicEdge7 At the moment the priority will always be the stone quarry, i hope they change it to mine everything possible and then the stone quarry after, but for now there is just one solution that is certain, put the quarry in another base in a way the contents will go to a chest near the palbox, it can be done in a breeding farm, or a food farm to distribute to the other 2 bases.
I think you could isolate the stone quarry in a high place like a tower in your base with just one pal stuck there with a bed and food besides it (and you will need to put food manually there) or the simplest solution ever would be to just construct the stone quarry as needed and then get rid of it when you don't need any more stone or needs to prioritize ore.
@@SonicEdge7have more than 3 miners, the quarry can only be mined by 3 at a time. Slow times would be when they run off to eat and the other miners come in to replace them. Honestly no point using mining bases as a stone quarry too though. Space better left for practically anything else
@@SonicEdge7setup a home base on a flat surface with no nodes whatsoever… then build a stone quarry & tree farm that way your miners & loggers will only do that job. Then set up your 2nd & 3rd bases up for just high quality nodes i.e coal, ore, sulphur.
Dont forget you can use basic stone in a crusher to get Paladium. We get thousands of it that way.

one thing i hope they add is something to mass release pets cause when i go farming pet spawns i want to be able to just throw away a load till i get my perfect breeding pairs
If you don't care about the resources from butchering, just sell them to a trader
I created a multistorey building with stairs and placed pal beds up there. But the pals cannot detect them and just sleeps on the floor where ever they are. Do they get the benefits of the bed?
They are only benefiting when sleeping in the bed

You can catch Blazamut on the same island as Orzerk.
Can also catch any other tower boss pals on the same island as Orzerk too
Just to help everyone out Astegon also have LVL 4 mining. I got them by breeding. Not sure where they spawns
It seems like the Pals are bugged a bit. The ore camp I've got set up, the one that's unraidable with lots of ore and coal on it, is very nice but it's like they only want to work if I'm physically there. If I'm away they don't really gather/farm the ore like they should.
I think its meant to be like that
There may be a bug with the digtoise I use one in the world to mine but in my base they do little damage to the ore nodes and don't mine nearly as efficient as other pals.
put it in your party, then deploy it into your base, use they're special attack on ore. Then try to put it back into to pal deck working pals. This worked for me

I feel like, there is a better Option. I build a base just with pals that are focused on one thing, so they dosent get sidetracked, its very usefull, to use them, instead of the pals, wich have 2 or more usecases

Had this game for a week and i haven't even reached the need to make buildings. I still need ingots, but all my lv3 miners keep making stones
Maybe its been fixed now, but Digtoise is actually very poor when assigned to the base and gets out performed by even level 2 miners. For some reason his spinning shell attack when he is in your party hits ore for 20 - 30 dmg roughly. When you assign him to the base, however, that same ability only damages ore for 1 dmg. This is the only ability he uses when mining. Due to the decrease of damage at the base, even a level 2 miner will produce more ore than the digtoise when assigned to base. The astegon, reptyr or any tier 2 miner is better for base work.
He is only efficient at mining when he is in your party and you manually deploy him at ore.

Reset food sploiing time bu clicking sorth inventory it will reset the timer you can also do this when you put food on player inventory jsut click sorth it will reset i discover this last night when i was fixing shit
You don't need that much quartz to make base for it.
Only use for quartz is crafting electrical equipments and some saddles, which after you craft them you don't want to do it again.
Ore farm doesn’t seem to work on dedicated servers. When u tp away from camp they tend to just do nothing when your away. You’ll spawn back and just be frozen for a sec. No ore change after an hour…
Ey? It does this in singleplayer, I was thinking of setting up a dedicated server because I heard the opposite
@@taxa1569 no yea I have a server with a couple buddies. And I’m noticing a lot of weird bugs I didn’t experience before. Like with the bases. Even my main base that will just freeze if they aren’t working on an object that’s been placed.
another thing that i learned the hard way. if you want to build a second story make sure the first floor has walls three walls high. otherwise pathing gets fucked as they try to path to it on the first level and can never do the work through the floor. had to tear down the whole base to fix it, but now they mostly do what i want them to be doing. fuckin cooler guy keeps going off an doing it own thing, but the rest is working as expected
Don't get Digtoise, it's bugged and won't mine shite unless you directly control it (aka in your party). If you don't have access to Anubises for some reason, get Reptyros or at least Tombats.
