A nice little fix for your stone pits is to make them on a high enough elevated stone foundation. High enough so that the stone pits can only be accessed through stairs, which you can just destroy to prevent them from mining stones.
It's not actually necessary. Only 3 pals can mine the quary at a time. If you have enough pals with the mining suitability running around they will mine stone and keep the land clear of ore and coal. Constantly having to put stairs down and break them is both bothersome and horribly inefficient. Especially when you could be mining stone constantly to grind into shards for your pal metal ingots. @@triplez7313won't they stop also if the mine hits 9999. I feel like once you have a good stack or two of stone, you dont need much more and can just let it get full and leave it alone until you do need it

i knew about this location but before i watched this video, i never considered it to be a actual main base until now and I want to say, thank you for making this video and i will now be using this location as my new main base.
Here’s what I’ve started doing since I want to build where I want to build without regards to resources. Keep your third base as a “pocket” base. Use that to do whatever active mining you need to do by placing it near the nodes and sending out however many Anubises you can and just transport the resources to where you’re producing stuff via fast travel. But also now you can place down the ore deposits as well so work speed would play a factor there.
How are you able to get two stairs to connect?? It says “not connected to a structure” whenever I try to apply a second set of stairs to the first set of stairs. Help!
8:08 I did this yesterday at level 23 but didn’t even know Jormuntide Ignis was a thing 💀 found a huge dragon egg and was fully expecting another Relaxaurus as the three huge dragon eggs I’d found before then were that. It’s got Ferocious too lol
This is a fantastic video. One other note for the earlygame is that you can skip breeding for Petallia by either catching the Alpha boss or by simply buying one from the Black Marketeer. I also did not notice that the boss Lyleen had lower work suitability than normal ones, very nice catch.
Thank you so much! I’m actually releasing another video in less than 30 mins to get all of the best pals on day 1 with some breeding hacks. Your viewership would be greatly appreciated :)
I've based here several times, you did a good job expanding out the outskirts. I didn't think you could stack the foundation so high down there for extra space. One problem though is my assembly lines CONSTANTLY bug out with pathfinding if I don't give them a lot of extra space around them...so they end up in the middle of a giant open platform. I also have a problem with Pals prioritizing the Quarry instead of the ore nodes so I usually put the Quarry in the second base instead of having 6+ miners.
Never had more pals get depressed than when i started building on this site, I demolished everything, live in a 1x1 with a roof and a bed, and have only the necessary things placed I need for an ore farm. We good now.
I put my logging site and rock site in my breeding base. This way your anubis and loggers dont get stuck on those sites, and stick to clearing ore coal and trees on site... I also only use 1 smelter, cause you likely just dont need 2. You can just smelt like 500 at a clip. Im aitting on 2k of each. 1 paladium is more than enough. Tho i do keep 2x lettuce and tomatos plantations. I like your layout here though. Definitely gonna redo my base on this mountain. What i also learned is berry planations make more money than eggs and milk farming, so only thing the ranch is good for is honey and refined cloth, and you just sell the extra berries and buy milk and eggs.
@@dauntusgamingi was originally just using this location as a mining base, but this might be a smarter move than where my current main base is, only problem is my building sense is absolute ass so i'm highly likely to make an uglier base than yours.
I think this location is even better since they added Ore mining pits. Now you can knock out the ore nodes for more building space and still have the coal on tap.
Quick tip: you can maximize bunkhouse size by building either a continuous skyscraper of 2x3 or a base of 5x5 with a 3x3 tower. as of current patch, the pals don't need to sleep in the beds to be happy.
What people don’t realize about digtoise is that he’s actually a great mining pal. When he’s IN YOUR PARTY. A full party of digtoise rotating to maximize his ability use will get you more that u ever dreamed of in half the time of an afk farm.
Hey guys they updated Jormintide Ignis breeding paths you can now get him by breeding a Blazehowl and a Jormintide. Don't try to get a Jormintide Ignis egg from the volcano area it has a 0.3% chance of appearing and I think I picked up about 500 eggs and I couldn't find a huge dragon egg.
I lost my tomato seeds... I had them. I unlocked the tomato plantation. But when I go to build it says I don't have any. I scoured the chesses at both bases. My seeds just up and vanished like a fart in the wind. I'll also add to this for you. If you want to have plenty of ore from early on. I think it's just north east of where Chillet is. That bridge that is behind his arena area leads right to a spot with something like 6 or 8 of those ore nodes. I don't usually bother marking down locations when I'm out exploring. I figure I like running around enough I'll probably find it again eventually. This spot, I marked and came back to make my second base there.
You can get a LOT more flat space if you place your first foundation about half way up the mound at an angle that alloows you to make a rectangle(ish) with the 1/4 that isn't full of ore. Then you can build as many large flat levels 2-3 walls of height sepearate from eachother going up.
Bonus tip about that spot. A pal or some hostile npcs will spawn every time you destroy/ cancel the palbox location to replace it. Don't be surprised if you suddenly get ganked while trying to adjust the ring.
I've had to build my ceilings at three walls of height to make sure that nothing would get stuck. I've had several issues with trying at two walls. With three, the only thing that runs a risk of getting stuck, is the boss version of Jormuntide.
This place is awesome, I found it in my very first playthough and didn't really pay it any mind till I needed it and then I set my base up here and enjoyed it, that world got corrupted so my next playthough I went right for this base location and started mining, by the time I needed refined ingot I had plenty of coal and ore ready for me
Holy crap. This is almost exactly my base lol. I saw iy start playing and i went "howed someone get video of my game?" In full mines definitley difffereny but the similaritu got me.
Just FYI, foundations will prevent the nodes from respawning even if not directly on top of them. I learned that the hard way when half of the nodes wouldn't respawn because of it.
Maybe there's just something about my base that confuses pals. But I've found that so long as the generator isn't 100% charged, the pal will never get distracted from generating power. So even if you only have a single lamp drawing power, the pal will never leave the generator no matter what other efficiencies they have.
Logging site might be overkill, I noticed the natively spawning trees are plentiful enough to reap home a loads of woods for charcoal. It's an option if you are using lumbering pals with other skills, like mossandra, he'll farm, then fell trees and if he feels like it, he hauls. I also like using pizza, granted I've to import it from my cooking/breeding base, but you get the benefits of both pancake and salad in pizza!
Work speed does work on Digtoise for mining ores. Condense them to level 4 and they mine much faster then the Anubis I recommend not using him for ores.
I enjoy Palworlds, but I wish they had a more flexible building system, especially adding more varieties of build pieces, such as angles, as well as making it to where you can snap defensive walls and gates to foundations and the like, and even have options to expand the area of coverage of your bases, at least in SP or Co-Op.
0:49 how is digtoise terrible? he is objectively the best base mining pal in the game, you can condense him to max stars and his damage per spin goes to 9-10 per tick and he is the ONLY pal in the game that gets affected by workspeed when it comes to node mining due to his mining animation being an actual animation instead of a basic attack like the rest. He is able to clear 8 ore and 6 coal nodes all on his own, just one single digtoise clears that insanely fast.
Every time I go there, there is a level 22 enemy there. Maybe a counterbalance can be preventing a base from being made so long as wild Pals are within a certain radius, and adding a couple more Pals up there.
I've found that the 1 tomato plantation to 1 lettuce plantation ratio is very imbalanced because the tomato production far outpaces lettuce. You'd probably need 2x lettuce plantations compared to tomatoes for it to be balanced for salad production.
Your setup is neater than mine but I'm not going to redo everything unless you did a build video on how to build this. :D My main base is here but I have a separate base for breeding and my third base is another ore base because I found myself needing lots of ore. Plus any extra ore gets turned into nails and sold.
I've actually found that Rayhound works better than jolthog. Rayhound only has level 2 electric generator. Mine happened to roll with Artisan but I'm willing to bet it doesn't need it. A jolthog has a hard time keeping it charged while I've got all my assembly lines and furnaces going. Rayhound however has not had a single problem. Thought you'd like to know. :)
Only big difference i did with this base location, and any location with sheer drop off edges, is add more foundations/celing tiles off the edge of the plateu to increase the area you have to build on. "My deterioration outside of circle is off now." This location is great!
Great guide and location! Best base location in the game by far haha. 1 tip: Production buildings draw from all chests in your base. So you can place wooden boxes in between each of those ore and coal nodes - like 8-10 boxes. They are small, so pals don't get stuck on top of them, but they will greatly reduce your transport time. 19:12 - Watch those dumb ass Helzephyr pick up 1 ore, say NOPE to the central chest by the palbox, and instead run all the way up the stairs, around the corner, and disappear for an hour to drop off 1 ore into the chest next to your furnace! Then they turn around and do it again. Hell no! Kick them off the cliff and make the dogs work harder 🤣
I play the same spot and really like to have two astegons in the base. They never went stuck and are a good addition to the Anubis. I really think it helps the workflow of the base to keep the mining going trough the night.
Once you're near end game grinding becomes much more simple noticing hes maxed out you won't be having a castle to showcase. I have a 2 base set up and a third one for fast travel. One fore ore and the last one for paldium. If you know what you're doing you don't lose recourse for destroy stuff. Just be sure you know how to collect your recourses for a new set up
Okay so I’m not crazy and Jolthog’s level 1 electricity is fine. I was thinking I’d eventually need more generators or something and it would fall behind but that doesn’t seem to be the case lol
That stone factory you made is gonna be hell for me to replicate lmfao Edit: I seriously do not know how you managed to build this base when they’re too many trees around and not enough level surface to actually build anything without the build system complaining that stone foundations aren’t attached to the ground.
Yo this is one of the best starting guides ever. After playing solo once and JUST jumped into co-op thinking " this start is gunna be way more efficient "😂😂 I really like the way you turned a cramped mining base into a clean main base. Jolthog and early Jormuntide are such good tips too.
@dauntusgaming I need to re watch more closely. Trying to get a nice group of flat foundations down along the cliff edge is a pain cut its so uneven and rocky lol
Funny enough I just use two bases, and a third as a "Quick Base" if there's something nearby I want to do, like take on Anubis or farm a nearby Dungeon I just found. Then I can pop over to it as close as possible and Max Out 👌🏾👌🏾
Can you do a guide on how to build on uneven terrain? I've got the same location but wildly different set up and found it difficult to build due to the different levels. Like the lowest points of your actual building is so much lower than other parts and wanna know how to do it. Awesome video, liked and subbed
I haven't watched this yet, but I swear if you have a literal >"PUT YOUR PALBOX HERE, THIS IS HOW YOU START THE LAND" part, I'm gonna subscribe. This spot is pretty famous, but whats more important is nobody seems to talk about how awkward it is to start the base there. They always show the "result" but the fact is, just starting to set things up there is a nightmare and if you have things out of place then your pals seriously bug out. Right now I thought I made everything super easy for my pals, but nope. I got digtoise drilling on my fridge, chillet disappearing to who-knows-where instead of being by the fridge, but its definitely not being cooled, I've got lyleen who for some reason keeps hanging out by the ore instead of the farm, and more than once I've seen Helzephyer stuck in a tree AND a coal node at the same time.
the 2x2 thing is okay I guess, I was doing 3x3 which clearly didn't work. but that part is just so incredibly uneven it's just difficult to get it up and going. I'll try your 2x2 and instead of connecting it like an idiot and building off it (still maintaining the resources), I'll try an open version like yours. My mistake I guess was I tried to give very clear and deliberate paths for my pals so they wouldn't glitch all over the place or jump off the cliff or something...which I clearly failed at. Also for the record, I know digtoise is dumb/bad, but I'm not strong enough yet to take on that level 49 Alpha :S
Great location. I love it. However, when I flew up there to mark it, there was a group of level 27 alliance dudes there. I'm not ready for that yet. Gotta do some leveling first (late starter here).
You should probably turn those crushers around. Watering pals use them from the back and it looks like yours are pretty close to the edge. Not sure if you've had any problems with pals not wanting to use the crushers or falling off the edge there.
A small note on the Astegon/Lightning Strike bit, you will want a leveled up Astegon with good damage passives, otherwise you will need multiple uses of Lightning Strike to break them, and it's a 40 second cooldown.
I use 3 Bushi's for my wood logging. Something satisfying to me watching them all hit the logging spot with their Katanas. Also usually pretty reliable staying on the logging spot with maybe 1 going off to do some kindling stuff but will then get back onto logging once done. usually pretty quick especially if you breed work speed into them.
my 3 tanzee... I have a logging post, they will be logging it, I leave, teleport back in via fast travel, they run off and start tending the already planted berry farm... I reload them in and manually assign them to the logging post (again), the moment I leave my base they quit logging... I now have 5 stacks of 9999 stone from my 2 tomcats... my 3 tanzee (which I haven't used wood for anything in the base for a long time 2 Vixie give me infinite arrows and sphere) have only produced 300 wood... in just shy of 65 hours on ONE save... Anyone know a way to reliably use Elthyrdeer without them getting upset after 5 minutes, despite having 10 pals running around and having 11 hotsprings or at least anything I can do to make them actually USE THE DAMN HOTSPRINGS?
I usually build my whole base out of wood and only use pals with fire attacks to defend against raids. Imo that’s the way to go.

8:08 I did this yesterday at level 23 but didn’t even know Jormuntide Ignis was a thing 💀 found a huge dragon egg and was fully expecting another Relaxaurus as the three huge dragon eggs I’d found before then were that. It’s got Ferocious too lol
Props for being the only youtuber to say jormuntide correctly
But also say quivern incorrectly lol
New video up on how to build the building (with some upgrades)!
Build the stand to order the pals to do specific task.
This is a MASSIVELY helpful video. Thanks for this. All useful for me right now.
"Rose Confession" playing in the background at the start of the video --
just hit me harder than Pengullet Launcher
You’re a real one 😄
@@dauntusgaming No no, YOU are the real one!
Thanks for sharing this OP location
And hit me with Nostalgia lol
Never had more pals get depressed than when i started building on this site, I demolished everything, live in a 1x1 with a roof and a bed, and have only the necessary things placed I need for an ore farm. We good now.
It definitely puts them to work LOL
why is you base 5 stories at the back? How do you manage this? My foundation wont let me place some lower.
Right. I want to know how to build on the mountain side like this
I put my logging site and rock site in my breeding base.
That’s good feedback! I’m going to keep messing around with the smelters and see what happens.
Thanks for stopping by!
Berries are great for Jam-filled buns as food for yourself.
My Anubi (like the plurality trick?) keep jumping on top of my roofs... definitely looking forward to AI pathing fixes!!
@@dauntusgamingi was originally just using this location as a mining base, but this might be a smarter move than where my current main base is, only problem is my building sense is absolute ass so i'm highly likely to make an uglier base than yours.
@@LoliFoxQueen I'm building a sky platform base without walls out of metal so I can have space to do whatever
Digitoise is terrible didn’t age well haha! Love this base it’s where mine is! I like the layout and will be mimicking haha.
Dude I feel like they buffed him in spite of this video 😂😂
Thanks for watching!
Thank you!!
This is the best base building video for efficiency ive seen 10/10 liked and subbed 👍
Thank you so much!
That is a pro tip for sure. Will experiment with this. Thanks for watching!
Could you explain this a little more? What angle?
This digtoise slander will not stand.
Second!!
I believe they fixed ya boy digtoise
@@jaypierce7577idk man, he still makes that noise... lol
What's a digtoise?
I started a few days ago and just caught digitoise. It's such a nice qol improvement.
"It's flying, so it doesn't get stuck on geometry"
Then what should I call my Vanwyrm? Because it loves fusing with my stone walls.
Bonus tip about that spot. A pal or some hostile npcs will spawn every time you destroy/ cancel the palbox location to replace it. Don't be surprised if you suddenly get ganked while trying to adjust the ring.
Absolutely love that base!! Sadly i'm not a bit creative when it comes to building. So i'm trying to build this castle for a few hours now.
I just made a building guide! Go check it out :)
Already saw it the moment you uploaded it😉
I've had to build my ceilings at three walls of height to make sure that nothing would get stuck. I've had several issues with trying at two walls. With three, the only thing that runs a risk of getting stuck, is the boss version of Jormuntide.
I wish I can build like this. This base is so good that i really want to build this for my world.
I’m making a video to help soon :)
I had never heard of anyone else using this spot and I thought I was seeing my base on the thumbnail it looks so similar to this.
Haha that’s hilarious! Thanks for stopping by :)
Bro, i paused your video fram by fram trying to build your base, but it's so hard to build. I like how you have everything set up!
I just made a tutorial on how to build the base with some upgrades. Check it out 😎
Quick tip, you can place wooden chests around the ore nodes, and the transport time is almost less than a second, not too close though
Broooo thank you is all I got to say I can’t wait to get home from work to play this game now lol
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching :)
Can you make a tut on how to build it? It's the best base I've seen so far and it will help a lot
I am just happy if my Pals do some work, they mainly just gather together and jump up and down on the spot
Sometimes the almighty algorithm sends me solid gold. First watch, instant subscribe; keep doing you
Making me smile over here :)
Appreciate your viewership! More videos to come!
Work speed does work on Digtoise for mining ores. Condense them to level 4 and they mine much faster then the Anubis I recommend not using him for ores.
There’s a base peace that allows you to turn off pals abilities. So you can have a crazy good logger and turn off its transport ability
This is one of the best videos I've seen on this base spot, thanks it's so much help! God bless! 🙏
Thank you so much for the feedback! Appreciate you stopping by :)
TIP go to 12 seconds in into the viedeo and start with the outer building
0:49 how is digtoise terrible? he is objectively the best base mining pal in the game, you can condense him to max stars and his damage per spin goes to 9-10 per tick and he is the ONLY pal in the game that gets affected by workspeed when it comes to node mining due to his mining animation being an actual animation instead of a basic attack like the rest. He is able to clear 8 ore and 6 coal nodes all on his own, just one single digtoise clears that insanely fast.
Every time I go there, there is a level 22 enemy there.
Maybe a counterbalance can be preventing a base from being made so long as wild Pals are within a certain radius, and adding a couple more Pals up there.
nice touch with the pso music at the start DC all the way
"you want your base to look aesthetic" "stop using the aesthetic items, they look good but are too big" lmao
I've found that the 1 tomato plantation to 1 lettuce plantation ratio is very imbalanced because the tomato production far outpaces lettuce. You'd probably need 2x lettuce plantations compared to tomatoes for it to be balanced for salad production.
I didn’t realize you could breed Anubis so easy. I got things to do now…
Your setup is neater than mine but I'm not going to redo everything unless you did a build video on how to build this. :D My main base is here but I have a separate base for breeding and my third base is another ore base because I found myself needing lots of ore. Plus any extra ore gets turned into nails and sold.
o7, fantastic video. Is there anyway you could do a video on how to actually build the base?
I need a base tutorial!! I love this base!❤
"My deterioration outside of circle is off now."
This location is great!
"......It's also a flyer, so it doesn get stuck on geometry"
SIR
ILL HAVE YOU KNO-
*gets dragged away by Pocketpal FBI Agents*
That stone factory you made is gonna be hell for me to replicate lmfao
Edit: I seriously do not know how you managed to build this base when they’re too many trees around and not enough level surface to actually build anything without the build system complaining that stone foundations aren’t attached to the ground.
Yo this is one of the best starting guides ever. After playing solo once and JUST jumped into co-op thinking " this start is gunna be way more efficient "😂😂 I really like the way you turned a cramped mining base into a clean main base. Jolthog and early Jormuntide are such good tips too.
Thank you so much! I appreciate you stopping by to comment :)
Video on my channel on how to build on uneven terrain. It’s the main base building guide!
Okay, showing all this stuff and layout is perfect, sub +1
Thank you so much! Your viewership is much appreciated :)
Great location. I love it. However, when I flew up there to mark it, there was a group of level 27 alliance dudes there. I'm not ready for that yet. Gotta do some leveling first (late starter here).
I like the pso background music
You’re a real one :)
I am noticing digitoise works when there is just one. Also he is great on the stone pit. I like the dumund reject face fish because we look alike. 😮
I wish someone told me this before spending 2 hours hunting for the Lighting Strike fruit and giving it to my mediocre Astegon lol
I would say three walls is the charm for stucking problems 👍(at least the "charmest" you can get with palworld horrible pathing...)
