Just in case anyone is having difficulties or is unaware of changes, to Respawn to different locations you have to have multiplayer on even if you are playing solo.
I'd add that it's easier to get the Fisherman's Point teleport before you build your first base. As you're traveling along the beach, you can build a base to use as a respawn point. As you get further along, you can open your map, disassemble your previous base using the V key, then rebuild it further along for a new checkpoint. Really helpful in case the mobs kill you so you don't have to run the whole way from the initial teleport.
If anyone is struggling finding the huge dragon egg on the volcano. Go north to the ruined fortress city. Tons of eggs in the open all in one condensed area. Grab them all, reset your game and you’ll find it faster than just flying around the lava for an hour
This video is pure cheese for veterans who have already beaten the game and want a quick start. I don’t recommend anybody to play like this as a new player if you want an organic wholesome experience.
I'm not, there's no adventure excitement doing it this way. I'm just exploring more of the map catching pals and fighting people and catching alphas 2, 3 levels stronger than me lol Level 29 now got the legendary crossbow schematic, so far so good loving it
to be fair, I don't think the vixy trick is much of a cheese, but near necessity for any player, veteran or not. The running around at level 4 and capturing all the spawn points to get eggs is, though.

I got a random Huge Dragon Egg on my first blind playthrough, and got the Jormuntide Ignis as basically my starting Kindling Pal, and it ruined every subsequent playthrough for me, lol. This is good advice to grab it early on.
Alternatively to going to town whenever you need to buy the cake materials, get a ton of spheres, catch him, then put him in your base whenever you need to buy stuff, then swap him back out, or just have him in your party I guess.
31:04 you know if you breed a relaxasaurus with a Nightwing that can also get you quiverin Edit: 32:10 breed a tombat with a relaxasaurus to get penking, breed it with a quiverin and get Mossanda.
Update: 1. To access all respawn locations, turn on multiplayer. Offline will not work. This does not mean you have to play with someone, just that multiplayer is on even if you are playing solo. 2. The second black marketeer location does not work anymore. The hanging trap will not place. Instead, use the first one. 3. To respawn the black marketeer, go back to the main menu and turn off multiplayer. Then, every time you kill the black marketeer, go back to the main menu to refresh the game and get him to spawn again. (Remember, you have to hit him a few times to get the contribution for the gold.)
Nah going to offline mode and just quitting and going back in is busted. I hope they don't patch stuff like this because it's only gonna happen if you're actually trying to make it happen. Ohh yeah still works as of December 2nd 2024.
For the black marketeer to respawn you can just go back 250/300m from him and go back. If your loadind times are not great, that will be better. Just put a marker on the map while you are near him and travel away until the marker desappear in tha compass than go back. He should respawn.
BIG TIP: To respawn the Black Marketeer, just return to the main menu and reload the game. 100% garanteed respawn even on the first place shown on the video, no return to base or suicide needed.
@eriqco2 personally I tried and the first time I returned to the title screen while being next to him and it didn't work, I returned to my base and only after that I returned to the title screen and since then it respawned 100% again. every time I go back (to make it short, don't disconnect next to him)
Outdated stuff but I wanted to add something the "HOT" effect has to do with elevation not the water it just so happens the water is just low enough like about 2-3 feet below the Hot trigger.There are no real water zones with water properties ,I wish there were full water zones like when I played Atlas.
A tip to get the black market trader spawning reliably is it going to the dungeon nearby on all the testing I’ve done it spawns in like 75% of all time also you have to complete the dungeon
For anyone having issues with the black marketeer not appearing outside the hillside cavern close to the Penking boss, exiting to the title screen and loading back into the save worked on PC. Then after burning him, run south a little past the cavern and exit to title screen again. he should be back up when you load back in. The BMs inside camps dont seem to work after the last patch since you can no longer build near them, but this guy at the hillside cavern doesnt have a camp and still worked for me on PC. Hope this helps someone. Edit: This didn't work 100% of my reloads. A few times I had to exit and reload a second time for him to respawn. May have just been standing too close. IDK.

Here in 2025 idk what else has changed but I had no luck finding an egg in the volcanic area. I was on the way to Quivern I found one by the beach lol. (update one i found dropped a Quivern I almost cried. Finally found one in the volcanic area 3 hours later)
The weird thing is by playing the game normally at level 24 I was able to get 3 of those just by myself and playing normally and smart. I know it's not level 20 with all 4 of them but I think it's not a huge difference. Some tips were pretty good to know but others just feel unnecessary.
Great showcase, though I wonder if you pursued too many objectives early on in the process. You could skip the whole base + Vixy trick early on and use the palbox to get to the fisherman's village right away. Alternatively you could lean into the vixy and just power level to 15 and get a nightwing, then fly over the same path without the headache. Likewise, if you wanted to skip getting the Qivern you could Anubis + Vanywrm = Faleris + Lyleen = Jorm. With the recent breeding addition a Jorm + blazehowl = Jorm Ignis so its a lot easier than hunting for the egg. You could go direct with Azurobe + Eikthydeer = Blazehowl, or if you want to pick up the best cooling pal in the process you could go Relax + Tanzee = Foxicle + Vanwyrm = *Van cryst* + Chillet = Blazehowl. dealers choice. A lot of folks worry about breeding with Relax as the Glutton trait gets passed on however if you take a quick detour and breed 2x Relax together its about a 50/50 that you will get one without glutton. It might be worth investing ~3 cakes at the start of the process to save the food cost down the line.
What I do is buy a bunch of mega spheres then catch all 3 merchants. Just keep throwing spheres and rolling around until you get them. Then you will have all 3 merchants to use at your base.

I was out traveling to different mining bases recently and had a wandering trader visit, dude has the perfect sales INCLUDING Pal Fluid (water pal drop) which is kind of rare for material merchants to carry, save for a few locations... so I nabbed him up for later. Now with a Pal Trader, and 2 Materials Traders I have access to damn near everything I'd want to buy from traders, so no more traveling for merchants... xD
(for everyone) for your bases you should get these pals and what they do: Anubis or splatterina: Excellent for Handiwork, making it a top choice for crafting and building. Jormuntide Ignis: Exceptional at Kindling, useful for cooking and smelting. Jormuntide: Ideal for Watering, crucial for maintaining your crops and farms. Lyleen: Specializes in Planting and Harvesting, essential for food production. Faleris: Efficient at Gathering, transporting, and Kindling, providing versatile support. Orserk: A strong choice for Gathering and Electricity generation, crucial for powering your base. (pls like this took me a long time not forcing😅) edit: sorry i forgot about mining, the best pals for mining are digtoise, astegon, and blazamut.
This is the best guide I've found so far. Couple notes. 1. The sand by fisherman's point isn't hot. Your not stuck in the water. 2. Havnt found the dragon egg yet but hatched multiple blazehouls + jormuntide gets you ignis. 3. Placing multiple camp fires speeds things up. Thanks again bros!
Clever strat, but it's not as effective as you think. If you rush it to your base location (the one you picked is great but not required now you can just build ore station). Build Vixy farm there and just catch all PALs around you in the time you have gotten the money/gun/ammo you would most likely be around lvl20-30 looking for Jourmuntide Ignis egg. Especially that trek to Fisherman Vilage on foot without mount is just an overkill. You can just grab it when you get a fly mount and farm the gold for a gun if you really feel you need it.
@acefenyx2745 You need to Respawn at a separate base or Fast Travel beacon, and then fast travel to the one you've setup next to the Marketeer. If you just respawn directly at the base it doesn't reload the area, and so he doesn't respawn.
I just turned the EXP rate in the world settings to maximum, since I didn’t want to deal with the early game grind. I hate having to walk everywhere, so I speed ran the game until I unlocked my nitewing saddle so that I can fly. After I hit level 16, I immediately flew to Fisherman’s Point to get the supplies mentioned in the video. Then I started farming the black marketeer for gold.
I usually just use Direhowl for that. I use Direhowl, and with the update, I use Dazemu over Vanwyrm most times. Only resorting to flying mounts when I unlock Beakon. By that point, I'm exploring volcanos, deserts, and tundras. But like...you'll catch me exploring Sakurajima at level 1 for those Legendary spheres and getting myself nearly killed by Croajiros 😂
I thought this game was going to be some stupid , weird trend. I traded a friend an indy game he wanted for a copy on release and last weekend i logged un fir the first time. I've been hooked since. If they added fishing and eirher fixed the carry weight or the weight of items to a more manageable system , and maybe start adding more pals and zonez more regularly , id probably never be able to put it down. Already just bought a steamdeck just to play it in the go, lol
The devs put a lot of love into this game. I wish it was the sort of game where you could complete a storyline and everything like in Legends Arceus, but in terms of gameplay, this game does an incredible job of being satisfying and letting you play with friends.
They also support fan made content such as mods and fan art. Heck they publicly showcase fan animations on their youtube channel too. For all we know they might even help modders further add content after full release. Imagine... Modders doing things to Palworld like they do to Fallout games.. New Pals, New Armors, New Weapons, Vehicles, Mechanics, Lands to travel, etc. Radioactive pals perhaps... Just imagine it, all the possibilities.
i hate using relax for any breeding since they're really hard to get without the glutton trait on them, so i usually go for catching the boss azurobe and boss bushi for get anubis.
Nice video , alltho you forgot to mention when powerleveling with capturing pals , you want to damage then to low % heath so they are easier to catch vs 100% health.
The ancient technology respawn has been patched. The first black market, in order to respawn, turn off multiplayer and after killed it, go back to base by manual or respawn and return to main title. The black marketeer in cave can still use traps to kill him, I'm not sure why some people said not working.
Ive been playing for a week now and everything in this video is working for me. I see people saying its patched and cave marketeer isnt working etc. I have all respawn points, Ive been farming the cave marketeer all week, its all working for me. 😊 I actually enjoy games more when I have a leg up and not struggling so thanks for this video
@OddLee23 you have to wait a full day cycle. Or you can restart your game, he'll reappear. Note: Do not reset your game while you are in the cave, sometimes it will respawn you in a wall lol

I'm currently level 39 and i have. Caught all the boss pals including jetragon, frostalion etc. And now the game just kinda feels boring. Anyone knows any fun things to do?
its in early access meaning the official game relase willl take time and by that time it will have many more pals,a lot of things to do maybe even storyline and maybe levels upto 200, as for now if u get bored then create a new world
@SbkJay98 they're still working on it. There should be a huge update after the bs lawsuit is won. It sucks though because after you level cap the game really comes to a screeching halt, but like you said it's early acess.. I think version 0.4xx.. so there's a long way to go.
Hey they updated Jormintide Ignis's breeding chart you can now get him by breeding a Jormintide and a Blazehowl. And getting a Blazehowl is super easy to just breed the Celeray with the Anubis you breed. Or if you're like me and don't want glutton from Relaxaurus you can also breed the Jormintide with a Rushoar. Because the spawn chance for the Huge Dragon Egg is 0.3% I know this because I spent a day flying around on Vanwyrm looking for the egg and never found it, so I looked it up, just to end up catching and breeding a Blazehowl. Skip the egg step if you're unlucky like me you'll waste a ton of time.
I think they patched that out so you can't just teleport around the whole map and have to build and explore. I tried it too and get the same thing, only the Plateau of Beginnings is available and then my base once I build it.
That's why I said AFTER level forty. Of course anything before level forty is fun, but I get past it, then it becomes boring and stale. AFTER level forty, which is why I start over.@Shann_Aniganns
Nah I'm doing the one in the cave fine still. Best way to catch is set hanging trap in centre of him then you just start spaaimg square or x (if on console while your slowly walking foward. Trap wants to be behind him
Sneaky pro tip... you can also make your way to sakurajima island once you have a pal mount that can swim (chillet) and farm the trash piles for legendary spheres, you can also catch the wandering ninjas in hanging traps and campfire them to lower their health for catching! Have fun with your level 50 pal spheres and early game one shot ninja!
@DC... this video was posted Feb 26th, and my original video with most of these tips was posted on Feb 12th. I saw the black marketeer tip on Reddit. I just watched that video and both of these videos have similar tips, but there is often overlap between content creators who make videos on a lot of the same topics. I have no problem giving credit where it’s due if you’ve seen my previous videos.
Patching isn’t necessary! This is all just smart thinking, no cheating involved. However, if it’s your first playthrough I recommend just having fun and doing what you want to do!
Yes it does but only certain buys can get caught in a trap the one one the north east side still works, but sometimes they just don’t die so you need to die before you can kill him.

@aow8082you can switch your world settings to multiplayer to unlock the fast travels then turn off that setting once you have them all if you're a single player.
When you are level 40 I like maxing the base to build a extra one then I build it next to a waterfall, forest or a cool area in general then put matching pals and it makes it look amazing

I kept trying to get jourmantide ignis, but i somehow managed to get powetful enough to catch one before finding that egg

when i try to place a hanging trap in the cave/mine it just says too close to special boss or facility can't build in this area, have they patched it?

Instead of killing that chillet boss you can simply tame it, you can easily do it with regular spheres

What I do is buy a bunch of mega spheres then catch all 3 merchants. Just keep throwing spheres and rolling around until you get them. Then you will have all 3 merchants to use at your base.

I was out traveling to different mining bases recently and had a wandering trader visit, dude has the perfect sales INCLUDING Pal Fluid (water pal drop) which is kind of rare for material merchants to carry, save for a few locations... so I nabbed him up for later.
Now with a Pal Trader, and 2 Materials Traders I have access to damn near everything I'd want to buy from traders, so no more traveling for merchants... xD
How to respawn the blackmatketier
(for everyone) for your bases you should get these pals and what they do:
Anubis or splatterina: Excellent for Handiwork, making it a top choice for crafting and building.
Jormuntide Ignis: Exceptional at Kindling, useful for cooking and smelting.
Jormuntide: Ideal for Watering, crucial for maintaining your crops and farms.
Lyleen: Specializes in Planting and Harvesting, essential for food production.
Faleris: Efficient at Gathering, transporting, and Kindling, providing versatile support.
Orserk: A strong choice for Gathering and Electricity generation, crucial for powering your base.
(pls like this took me a long time not forcing😅)
edit: sorry i forgot about mining, the best pals for mining are digtoise, astegon, and blazamut.

This is the best guide I've found so far. Couple notes. 1. The sand by fisherman's point isn't hot. Your not stuck in the water. 2. Havnt found the dragon egg yet but hatched multiple blazehouls + jormuntide gets you ignis. 3. Placing multiple camp fires speeds things up.

Clever strat, but it's not as effective as you think. If you rush it to your base location (the one you picked is great but not required now you can just build ore station). Build Vixy farm there and just catch all PALs around you in the time you have gotten the money/gun/ammo you would most likely be around lvl20-30 looking for Jourmuntide Ignis egg. Especially that trek to Fisherman Vilage on foot without mount is just an overkill. You can just grab it when you get a fly mount and farm the gold for a gun if you really feel you need it.

in case you didnt know you can also go back to title after you have killed the black market guy it'll respawn him even if you right next to him
That's the only way I could get him to respawn
@acefenyx2745 You need to Respawn at a separate base or Fast Travel beacon, and then fast travel to the one you've setup next to the Marketeer. If you just respawn directly at the base it doesn't reload the area, and so he doesn't respawn.

I just turned the EXP rate in the world settings to maximum, since I didn’t want to deal with the early game grind. I hate having to walk everywhere, so I speed ran the game until I unlocked my nitewing saddle so that I can fly. After I hit level 16, I immediately flew to Fisherman’s Point to get the supplies mentioned in the video. Then I started farming the black marketeer for gold.
I usually just use Direhowl for that.
I use Direhowl, and with the update, I use Dazemu over Vanwyrm most times. Only resorting to flying mounts when I unlock Beakon. By that point, I'm exploring volcanos, deserts, and tundras.
But like...you'll catch me exploring Sakurajima at level 1 for those Legendary spheres and getting myself nearly killed by Croajiros 😂

I thought this game was going to be some stupid , weird trend. I traded a friend an indy game he wanted for a copy on release and last weekend i logged un fir the first time. I've been hooked since. If they added fishing and eirher fixed the carry weight or the weight of items to a more manageable system , and maybe start adding more pals and zonez more regularly , id probably never be able to put it down. Already just bought a steamdeck just to play it in the go, lol
The devs put a lot of love into this game.
I wish it was the sort of game where you could complete a storyline and everything like in Legends Arceus, but in terms of gameplay, this game does an incredible job of being satisfying and letting you play with friends.
They also support fan made content such as mods and fan art.
Heck they publicly showcase fan animations on their youtube channel too.
For all we know they might even help modders further add content after full release.
Imagine... Modders doing things to Palworld like they do to Fallout games..
New Pals, New Armors, New Weapons, Vehicles, Mechanics, Lands to travel, etc.

i hate using relax for any breeding since they're really hard to get without the glutton trait on them, so i usually go for catching the boss azurobe and boss bushi for get anubis.
Nice video , alltho you forgot to mention when powerleveling with capturing pals , you want to damage then to low % heath so they are easier to catch vs 100% health.
The ancient technology respawn has been patched.
The first black market, in order to respawn, turn off multiplayer and after killed it, go back to base by manual or respawn and return to main title.
The black marketeer in cave can still use traps to kill him, I'm not sure why some people said not working.

@OddLee23 you have to wait a full day cycle. Or you can restart your game, he'll reappear. Note: Do not reset your game while you are in the cave, sometimes it will respawn you in a wall lol

I'm currently level 39 and i have. Caught all the boss pals including jetragon, frostalion etc. And now the game just kinda feels boring. Anyone knows any fun things to do?
its in early access meaning the official game relase willl take time and by that time it will have many more pals,a lot of things to do maybe even storyline and maybe levels upto 200, as for now if u get bored then create a new world
Sadly they’re in a lawsuit so the game isn’t getting any updates anytime soon until the lawsuit is lost or one
@SbkJay98 they're still working on it. There should be a huge update after the bs lawsuit is won.
It sucks though because after you level cap the game really comes to a screeching halt, but like you said it's early acess.. I think version 0.4xx.. so there's a long way to go.

Hey they updated Jormintide Ignis's breeding chart you can now get him by breeding a Jormintide and a Blazehowl. And getting a Blazehowl is super easy to just breed the Celeray with the Anubis you breed. Or if you're like me and don't want glutton from Relaxaurus you can also breed the Jormintide with a Rushoar. Because the spawn chance for the Huge Dragon Egg is 0.3% I know this because I spent a day flying around on Vanwyrm looking for the egg and never found it, so I looked it up, just to end up catching and breeding a Blazehowl. Skip the egg step if you're unlucky like me you'll waste a ton of time.

Every time I respawn I don’t get the option to go to other islands is it something in settings?
I think they patched that out so you can't just teleport around the whole map and have to build and explore. I tried it too and get the same thing, only the Plateau of Beginnings is available and then my base once I build it.
You can also do it instantly on multiplayer

Nah I'm doing the one in the cave fine still. Best way to catch is set hanging trap in centre of him then you just start spaaimg square or x (if on console while your slowly walking foward. Trap wants to be behind him

Sneaky pro tip... you can also make your way to sakurajima island once you have a pal mount that can swim (chillet) and farm the trash piles for legendary spheres, you can also catch the wandering ninjas in hanging traps and campfire them to lower their health for catching! Have fun with your level 50 pal spheres and early game one shot ninja!

Patching isn’t necessary! This is all just smart thinking, no cheating involved. However, if it’s your first playthrough I recommend just having fun and doing what you want to do!
Yes it does but only certain buys can get caught in a trap the one one the north east side still works, but sometimes they just don’t die so you need to die before you can kill him.

Nah I just got the game. This is all good info besides the beginning where you respawn for the fast travel

@aow8082you can switch your world settings to multiplayer to unlock the fast travels then turn off that setting once you have them all if you're a single player.
As a seasoned player none of this was new except reptyro being available from the pal merchant South of the volcano, that's super useful!

Tbh after lv 40 is kinda bored game. But when you fresh starting off again they look so much fun.
When you are level 40 I like maxing the base to build a extra one then I build it next to a waterfall, forest or a cool area in general then put matching pals and it makes it look amazing
