    What a thorough, great review! I actually just bought a One Max to replace my Note 3, and I am actually loving it... It's one of those devices you need to actually use for a few days to understand and like it. The Note 3 wins in some regards, particularly the S-Pen and multitasking. But the One Max wins in battery life, audio quality (these speakers are just unreal tbh), build materials & quality, as well as screen quality in my opinion.

    I used to have an htc one max.....
    It was BROKEN BADLY.
    The screen was cracked and it looked like a scar with stitches. It had a software problem where it had problems connecting to wifi and when it shut down, it would bring up an error screen when booting back up. Sometimes the power button doesn’t work and the volume up button doesn’t work and sometimes the volume randomly goes to max. Man that phone was fucked up but I still loved it tho.

    I hate how companies self-declare their phones to be the best phones in the world.. *cough* Apple.. *cough*.. Although, they are companies promoting their own products. But no need to get snobby about it.

    Do you have any marks or cuts on your left index finger? maybe that could have something to do with it or perhaps since it's not used as much it could be too smooth for the fingerprint sensor to pick up.

    I've had an HTC One Max since February. I've been very happy with the size and performance of it until recently. I feel like it's getting sluggish and it also freezes on me. It doesn't freeze to the point of needing to restart it, though. A complaint that I've always had is where the Home button is located. I am constantly hitting it by mistake while texting. I am considering trading in my HTC One Max for the Samsung Note 4.

    • @KnightsTV1987
      @KnightsTV1987 10 лет назад

      @portjon97 10 лет назад

      KnightsTV1987 Thank you, I don't have much contact to citizens of the US so I didn't know :)
      It just kinda weirds me out how big of a deal contracts seem to be in America. In germany many people just buy the phone off contract because it's way cheaper in the long run...

    • @DetroitBORG
      @DetroitBORG  10 лет назад +1

      You can indeed buy unlocked phones here off contract, but it's probably less common here than globally since many phones are locked to carriers in the US anyway since many networks aren't compatible with each other.

    Ok I have one MAJOR problem with this phone, the back cover. I know it sounds weird but it's flimsy, doesn't open well or close tightly dust gets under it all the time. Why build such a good product, then and put a horrible back on it. I love HTC and my one max and if not so expensive I would have a cover for it, which honestly would only hide what is irritating me, but $60-$80 is a bit much.

    As someone who has used a 5.3 inch phone for the past 2 and half years i guess it's safe to say the next phone i get will be much smaller. Though a bigger phone has a bigger and better display it's just too uncomfortable to use practically on a daily basis and becomes quite annoying.
