Wow, what a small world it is. I knew Randy and his brother Rick when we were in our 20's living in St Catharines, Ontario. Last person I expected to see when I clicked on your video. I'm glad he's doing well and enjoying the van life. Thanks for filming this Chrome.
Wow really! My memory is not what it used to be, so I'm sorry that I don't recognize the name. Would you message me on FaceBook? facebook.com/stillrandyepp
The man straight-up has a locking all-steel gun safe in his van. And judging from the Winchester lighted decoration, he's probably got a lever-action in there. Randy is the best Canuck *ever* and America salutes you, sir!
I friend gave me the Winchester light a few years ago when I was renovating his basement. The gun safe was an interesting install as it had to be seriously modified to fit. Sorry, but no, I'm not a fan of lever action, strictly bolt for me.
@@stillrandy I have been considering very strongly whether or not to do something where I could carry my rifle in the Van that I'm building. After seeing this video I'm starting to think it's possible.
I really enjoyed this van tour. I had a smile until the end. The gentleman seem to be a, and sound as pleasant individual. He do not worry about anything.
Thanks for sharing Randy with us...you had me at SEWING MACHINE!! I’m trying to make buckets of dollars with my new sewing business SEW that I can get a van and hit the road with my sewing machine. I’ve already done the design build IN MY HEAD that will include a dedicated sewing station. Thanks for the inspiration Randy. Wishing you all the best!!
As a carpenter in my 60’s, this story makes me think. I got a van, I got an enclosed trailer, I got tools. The anchors in my life are a lawn /snow plowing business, a house and a cabin. The open road calls to me. I worked throughout the northeast on jobs sites before doing the lawn mowing thing, now I miss the always changing work sites. Van life will most likely remain a vacation activity for my wife and I, my old work van, a 1997 GMC high top has become a motel for us several times over the last 10 years. Once my old plow truck is retired and the winter plow business is over , the plan is to upgrade the van to a newer model and travel south during the winters. Your van is one of the best engineered Ive seen!!! As a carpenter all these years we used to laugh at engineers and architects because at the end of the day....it was a carpenter that made it all work!!!
Yes, I totally agree with you. I worked for a contractor many years ago and he always said there is one trade, and that is a carpenter, everything else is a sub trade. Hahaha
Like each and every fan build I have saying they are all unique and custom to the person that's living in them thanks for sharing Randy's build there's lots of patterns to choose from and each field is great y'all take care and be safe give Cruz bear a head scratch for me and will see you soon
This is a home and so well done and efficient. The screens for the back and side really are super. Randy is a very handy guy and he has so many amazing ideas. Enjoyed this very much and a very original build. Everything in its place and place for everything. He seems so contented and happy. Another great tour, Chrome.
i know this isnt that video, but dont know if you look at comments from the older videos, and i wanted to let you know i am so sorry for your loss. i discovered your channel a few weeks ago and though i have been watching the new ones when they are up, i went back and started binge watching from the beginning of your journey. i just got to episode #421 which is when you lost sweet DISCO, i am so sorry, i am literally balling my eyes out right now and had to write this for my own feelings as well as yours, believe me when i tell you, i know how it feels, many times over, i am 62 and have lost so many. i knew i would get to this video eventually because obviously when i first started watching , you have CRUZE, and when i went back to the beginning , it was DISCO. i am sorry if this brings up any sadness, but i just wanted to express how much love i felt when i watched you and DISCO, for and from you both, the same way i feel the love with Cruze. your channel is awesome, i feel the genuine love, care and respect you have for everyone and your surroundings. i retire in 4 years and plan on getting into my van, if your still out there and the borders are opened back up by then (hopefully this covid crap will be eradicated ) i plan on visiting Canada (ive never been) because the places you show are so beautiful. maybe we will run across each other if your still vanning. again sorry if i brought up any sadness, but i had to express my feelings and love too. you gave DISCO the best life a doggie could have, traveling, playing, and being with his person all day, every day. ALL MY LOVE CHROME. safe travels.

I used one of the Lunchbox ovens for a while in my 18 wheeler until I got my 2500 watt inverter. I made so many things in it. My husband still has one in the rig with him. I cook his meals for him and he uses his microwave for them now. He has used the Lunchbox just in case he has to be in a different truck for a while.

Sweet van great job!
Thank you . I am learning something new everyday for my plan of van living in the next few years. I really like the truckers stove. I have never seen such a stove
I love seeing can tours because they show what is really important to each person. A van is such a small space there's no room for thing you don't need. It ends up showing the owners personality. This guy's van is masculine as well as cosy. It's really cool. I love that you can play with and adapt your van in a way you can't really do with a house. I'll bet my house there will be a version number 11!
Wow! I loved his van build. Chrome, I think you should keep putting videos like this, I sure would watch them. Like how simple his van is, he's done an awesome job on it, I need to eventually invest in new seats in the front my van, like the swivel idea. I'm in the midst of redoing all my van insulation, gotten rid of the original fiberglass insulation, even found a few dead buggers in it as I was cleaning it out. I gotten the 3M Thinsulate 600L, for both insulation and sound deadening. So far, it's coming out better than it was before more than I thought I could get done too. I'm doing all this with no outside help, all in between times I'm caregiving for my elderly dad in the midst. I'm glad I finally started on my van's new insulation yesterday, the cleaning up and off the old glue and gunky stuff was more time consuming than anything else. If it wasn't, I might have already had this insulation redone and at least my flooring done by now too. My flooring, however, is next after I finish all the new needed insulation 😊 my dad got into the music you had in this video too... LOL 😊 be blessed and safe Chrome and Cruzzie, hugs to Cruzzie too.🤗💖
