Watching this as we just unexpectedly lost our smallest pup at home two days ago. 😢 He had heart failure so we knew we’d have to put him down soon, but we thought we had more time. Our other dog is now realizing what’s up and is very mopey. It’s sad to watch. He’s never been the only dog in the house for 11 years. I don’t think he knows what to do. Thankfully our 5 year old daughter took it well. She misses him but understood he was sick. Thanks for the laughs Chris to get through the tough days like this. ❤️🩹

But I would definitely look into it first I know a woman on TikTok did it with her cat in a sleeping position and it looked beautiful. I took a bit of comfort in the knowledge that I gave her the best life I possibly could. I gave her everything she needed up until her very last breath. She had a great dog life. And she knew that I loved her. So just know that your dog knows that they are loved by you. They know.

We had a service come to the house so our dog could be around all the people that she loved and they put her down with all of us there to make her comfortable. It was very sweet. They offered a paw print ornament that we hang on the tree come xmas. Definitely heart breaking but it was a nice way to go about a very sad thing. Love you Chris, sorry about Butters 😢
