- In this video Dr. Shrikant talks about the rubic Contradiction intolerance to. The meaning of the word contradiction is: Combination of statements, ideas or features of a situation that are opposed to one another, something being completely opposite of something else, so that one of them must be wrong.
The people who feel contradicted are often offended, deeply affected and provoked by the least thing. They feel very angry and hurt. If they have made a plan and someone changes it they feel - how can they change and contradict the plan? I won’t go with them. They feel deeply affected by it. They will hold onto a grudge against that person. They feel people are devaluing and disrespecting them. They feel pain, anger, hurt and grief. This affects them physically and emotionally.
Dr Shrikant has explained the difference between contradiction disposition to and contradiction, is intolerance of.
The 3 mark remedies in this rubric are:
Aurum Metallicum- This remedy is included in both contradiction intolerance to and disposition to. Dr. Shrikant shares a case of a daughter-in-law and father-in-law to explain this remedy.
Ignatia- These individuals are sensitive to contradiction. For eg: The teachers scolded me or my boss scolded me.
A child is scolded in school and develops convulsions. They feel the teacher should be more considerate instead of scolding. This is how ignatia represents this rubric.
Lycopodium- We see the aspect of egotism in Lycopodium. When one contradicts them they say statements like “ You don't teach me” They feel their ego is being hurt. So they just get out of that place.
Sepia- In Sepia we see a loss of affection towards relatives.
If someone disagrees with what they say, Sepia will get affected. If they are contradicted by their family they feel that their family doesn't like them anymore and hence they develop indifference.
