I have a half moon on both thumbs, crescent moon on both index fingers and both middle fingers. I've asked doctors "what is my blood type "? Three different doctors years ago told me it's not important for me to know my blood type. Plus every year when i see doctors, they'll take 4-5 test tubes of blood to check sugar, cholesterol, blood count,etc. But it never made sense why they need 4-5 large test tubes full? Plus why keep my blood type a secret from me?
I had to twist my doctors arm as well to find out my blood type. He was also reluctant to tell me. He told me they will test it when I need it.. right.. that’ll save time.. 🙄
As a small science project in H.S. the teacher as an extra side project because we got done early on the school project... Mine turned out to be O like my Dad. Several years later there was something about that test, something about getting the results from a school project... I FINALLY got brave & asked my family Dr. (I was in my late teen's -early 20's) while doing my usual tests could he add in that test since it won't take more than a drop or two. He said ok... When the test's came back, the only test I was interested in of course was my blood type. I mean it should be important in case of any emergency. He stated it was B. 😲 B? Both my sisters & Dad are (were) O. I asked my Mom. She dodged the question 'til she passed. Now I'm in my 60's I still have that desire to know for sure. However, not 1 Healthcare provider will approve it. & it would be $100 out a my pocket 😢. Good luck.

I have a half moon on both thumbs, crescent moon on both index fingers and both middle fingers. I've asked doctors "what is my blood type "? Three different doctors years ago told me it's not important for me to know my blood type. Plus every year when i see doctors, they'll take 4-5 test tubes of blood to check sugar, cholesterol, blood count,etc. But it never made sense why they need 4-5 large test tubes full? Plus why keep my blood type a secret from me?
I had to twist my doctors arm as well to find out my blood type. He was also reluctant to tell me. He told me they will test it when I need it.. right.. that’ll save time.. 🙄
As a small science project in H.S. the teacher as an extra side project because we got done early on the school project... Mine turned out to be O like my Dad.

I FINALLY got brave & asked my family Dr. (I was in my late teen's -early 20's) while doing my usual tests could he add in that test since it won't take more than a drop or two. He said ok...
When the test's came back, the only test I was interested in of course was my blood type. I mean it should be important in case of any emergency. He stated it was B. 😲 B? Both my sisters & Dad are (were) O. I asked my Mom. She dodged the question 'til she passed. Now I'm in my 60's I still have that desire to know for sure. However, not 1 Healthcare provider will approve it. & it would be $100 out a my pocket 😢.
