For the last dish, you want to put the cheese facing down. Low heat. It will melt but if you don't touch, it starts forming a golden crust. Then you can flip it and do the other side without the lid so it doesn't steam the crisp part
You definitely can't get crusty/browned cheese at the top just by cooking it like that😅 or at least in my experience. I always make my garlic bread in the oven. Air fryer would be good too as you had suggested!
@ they are making enchiladas which is why I said use enchilada sauce and my great grandparents and grandpa are from Mexico so definitely not calling my family lazy, they’re just saying it’s a quick and simple meal which it is especially if you use leftover chicken that’s already cooked. Enchiladas are a go to when I’m feeling lazy and want something easy.
My favorite girl dinner is brie, a baguette fresh out of the oven (they sell them half baked at my grocery store), and either grapes or an apple. Tonight, girl dinner was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a piece of snack cheese.
I had horrible heartburn in my last trimester.❤️🔥 Baking soda mixed with water saved my sanity! Mix about a teaspoon into half a cup of water and bottoms up! ❤
Came here to say the same thing! Add sauteed onions and garlic to your chicken, then smother with the enchilada sauce! and of course cheese! I prefer jack cheese
Also, parsley should not be the green you use! The enchilada sauce and cheese are great, but add on cilantro, sour cream, pickled onions (pickled with lemon juice, not vinegar), and/or guacamole are all great toppings! I miss my mum's enchiladas that she would make for us. She always homemade two salsas for them, because I liked green enchiladas, and the rest of the family liked the red ones. ♡
Definitely 😂 Lazy is a tin of tuna and a handful of cherry tomatoes or something like that. Once there's cooking and washing up involved, it stops being lazy 😆
Unless the recipe starts "Take out the previously prepared caramelised onion from the fridge/freezer," there is nothing lazy about a recipe that contains caramelised onions as witnessed by the fact that you didn't actually caramelise your onions, you just browned them a bit 😆 It does sound tasty, though, and I do actually have some white wine that needs using up, so I might try that one tomorrow 😄
I make my garlic bread / cheesy garlic bread in the toaster oven. Place the prepared bread directly onto the rack and set to dark toast. Usually works, occasionally need to add more time if not browned / melted enough.
4:48 This dish is SO GOOD. Add pepper powder and salt and it's literally perfection. I've tried this two times now and I'm gonna make it again today. It's so delicious
Your videos are always so much fun to watch!!! I especially love how you rate food with thumbs ups, it reminds me of how my sister and I used to rate our food.
Omg, now I can't get that song out of my head, woman. Beans, Beans, The Magical Fruit! The More You Eat, The More You Toot! The More You Toot, The Better You Feel! So Eat Your Beans With Every Meal!
3:30 you need to put wayyyy more honey until you start question yourself, if you've put too much and then ad some more. only then it's enough and tastes amazing
Hi Tina ❤😍.. I have been watching your videos for the past 8years now and would like to tell you that you were my role model in many ways. I love how creative you can be, how hardworking you are and love your Genuity. I love your videos. More love to you from India. Plz make a video on Indian food, would like to see your reaction😅
My mom used to make chicken wrap with ham and cheese, it's so good! You shred the chicken, mix it with spices you like and some mayo(diced onions are optional, but it adds texture) and use the ham and cheese to wrap it and then bake it with some marinara sauce.
good call by Tina to substitute the white wine with the liquid from the can of beans, since other recipes would tell you to swap out the wine with chicken or vegetable broth if you can't consume alcohol, and the liquid is technically a broth of sorts. plus the starch in the liquid also helps with thickening the sauce
You may not be able to automatically receive a Michelin star but nobody can stop you from opening a restaurant called Michelin Star 💫 I really think that would be some good marketing right there.
YES, podcast cooking days questions and answers 😋 I love my airfryer. My snacks are grapes 🍇 Apple 🍎 Sharon's, satsumas, banana and kiwi 🥝 The second, dish might be better with white sauce added before the cheese.😋 😋 XX
Indian here, and my lazy girl's dinner /meal is bengali khichdi/ khichuri - its porridge like dish containing rice, lentils and veggies. and it is a one pot recipe :)))
Tina, let me just say that you’re just one of those vloggers who’s so likeable that even if you change your content, people will still watch because they just want to see you. I usually watch vloggers for their content and if they change their content, I unsubscribe but that does not apply to you. You’re generally just a beautiful, pleasant, humorous, fun, kind, authentic person to watch. More power!
Shredding cheese yourself melts better because when its pre shredded it not only dries out but they coat it in a powder to prevent moisture. Also last one you have to cook it like a grill cheese... Putting a lid on it doesnt make sense. You need to flip it n cook the other side. Or put it in air fryer like you said.
You can use an immersion blender on the beans and then it into a great soup! And for the feta, add a customer of lemon and a small dab of butter. Very tasty Edit: that cheesy bread is supposed to be flipped! It'll get brown and crunchy as it cooks.
10:50 add canned diced jalepenos and olives. You will not regret it. These are just chicken enchiladas. Also, if you want to fit more, you can use corn tortillas or small flour tortillas. Both work equally as well.
I have not had butter beans but i make that beans recipe with red beans (indian rajma). Its delicious. You should add some chopped garlic with the onions and add some basic Indian spices you will have indian girl dinner😬
Hi Tina I love your cooking video. your family is just the best and you and zen's kitchen Chaos 😂😂 I absolutely love you guys you inspire me to never give up even if I make mistakes ❤❤ thank you guys so much😊😊
Very smart to buy pre-shredded cheese for Kitchen Chaos. lol I was traumatized too. hahaha People always say to shred cheese yourself, but guess what? I'm lazy and I'm only feeding myself. 🤣 Even if I was serving someone and they dont want it? Never invited again. lol😂
can u try some Bangladeshi food, they are full of spices and tasty. specially the desserts. lots of love from me and Bangladesh. wish you to go a long way🥰🥰
I'm subscribed. I like your content and you're my fave youtuber but i miss your old content. Would love to see that again. But i'll still watch anything you post. Cuz i love ya💕✨
I also used to sing the beans song as a kid lol🫘 beans beans, good for your heart, the more you eat the more you fart. The more you fart the better you feel, so let's eat beans for every meal!😂😂
Childhood rhymes about beans must be universal! I learned a different one: Beans, beans the musical fruit The more you eat the more you toot The more you toot the better you feel So eat some beans with every meal
honestly shredding trauma is so real. In culinary class in middle school it happened to a student, when tho they covered the cheese with a towel to create a barrier between the fingers and the shredder. pre shredded cheese might be not the best quality cheese, but it's convienient, not fingers get hurt and kids are also safe from injury
Try keeping saltines next to your bed and chewing on a couple of them before you even lift your head and see if that doesn’t help your heartburn. That was my moms famous idea, it worked once in a while but I had a very hairy baby, she lost it all at three weeks but still. Also 🎵 beans beans the magical fruit the more you eat the more you toot, that’s the one I grew up on😂
I use stock with a bit of vinegar or lemon juice to mimic the acidity of wine. Works very well as long as the wine isn’t a star flavor (beef burgundy, chicken with white wine sauce, etc).
For the last dish, you want to put the cheese facing down. Low heat. It will melt but if you don't touch, it starts forming a golden crust. Then you can flip it and do the other side without the lid so it doesn't steam the crisp part
That's how I usually make my grilled cheese sandwich... But the way they showed it's definitely bate
Eat the garlic bread with the butter bean stew. Or use the butter bean stew as a sauce over the feta pockets.

You definitely can't get crusty/browned cheese at the top just by cooking it like that😅 or at least in my experience. I always make my garlic bread in the oven. Air fryer would be good too as you had suggested!
I was thinking that! You can't achieve browning from just steam and no direct heat, haha
They definetly used a torch. Like a crème brûlée.
Can't they just flip it??
you guys should do an indian lazy dinner recipe!
for real
She’s done the Indian tik tok recipes but she should def do more
AGREED
ooooh yes!! khichdi, paratha, rolls, pulao
For the chicken wrap meal you need enchilada sauce instead of taco sauce, way more flavor and won’t be as dry.
So use enchilada sauce for what is basically an enchilada.
So they are calling Mexicans lazy for making enchiladas. 😁
@ they are making enchiladas which is why I said use enchilada sauce and my great grandparents and grandpa are from Mexico so definitely not calling my family lazy, they’re just saying it’s a quick and simple meal which it is especially if you use leftover chicken that’s already cooked. @@paulcullen814 you can get enchilada sauce from the store it’s not any more difficult than buying taco sauce
My favorite girl dinner is brie, a baguette fresh out of the oven (they sell them half baked at my grocery store), and either grapes or an apple. Tonight, girl dinner was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a piece of snack cheese.
Tina's food videos are my therapy
I had horrible heartburn in my last trimester.❤️🔥 Baking soda mixed with water saved my sanity! Mix about a teaspoon into half a cup of water and bottoms up! ❤
“This is what I make when I’m feeling lazy”
*procees to caramelise onions *😂 4:49
What you need for the roll up one was enchilada sauce! It adds a lot of juiciness and flavour that you and Zenn were missing!
You're right! We'll have to try it next time.
@@tina_yong it's so delicious so I can't wait to see if you guys like it!
I want to try those tomato salsa for chips hehe

I think we have different definitions of “lazy” hehe
True hahah my lazy would be peanut butter toast😂😂
Definitely 😂 Lazy is a tin of tuna and a handful of cherry tomatoes or something like that. Once there's cooking and washing up involved, it stops being lazy 😆
I'm a part of the 50% that IS subscribed. I love your videos!

Lol right? That's what I was thinking too
I had the same thought! Why do people writing recipes pretend that caramelizing onions is quick?!
2:01 "We need a lot of hands for this" this was just Zen's excuse to show off her super cute nails and I'm not mad
I make my garlic bread / cheesy garlic bread in the toaster oven. Place the prepared bread directly onto the rack and set to dark toast. Usually works, occasionally need to add more time if not browned / melted enough.

I’d like to say I’m just looking at a little bit of your kitchen and I’m telling you I am enjoying it. It looks so nice. Thank you for letting us in.

I just LOVE those videos with you making many viral videos and giving you opinion and we actually see it being made
i lost it at tina's and zen's expression when alfred said he tasted peas here 11:00 💀
6:25 it's just bean's sabzi that's what we would call it here in India, we would eat it pretty regularly good to see u try it Tina!!
And I noticed that she didn't add the salt in it 😂 I wonder if that's just normal taste to them cuz as an Indian it's a bit something I'm not used to
@@tulikamishra321 exactly my thoughts lol
is it made with butter beans? I want to try find a recipe for that to eat with rice but i don't use tiktok
also the recipes that come up when I search that are made with green beans and potato?
If I need to saute onions and garlic, roll up things or put anything in the oven it's not lazy enough for me 😂
Natutuwa talaga akong panoorin ang mga videos mo lalo na ang try out haul at cooking videos mo. Thank you for making my day.🥰😘

I have been making the easy enchiladas for years. I add refried beans with the chicken for more flavour and use enchilada sauce on top.
3:30 you need to put wayyyy more honey until you start question yourself, if you've put too much and then ad some more. only then it's enough and tastes amazing
I Can't wait for baby number 2 Lyla must be so excited she's gonna be a big sister❤❤❤
Zenn's nails are adorable omg
Shredded cheese is coated in potato starch to prevent it clumping, but this also prevents the cheese from melting quickly.

I might have a go at making the bean recipe and chucking in some gnocchi roasted in the air fryer. I've made a similar recipe but with a creamy sauce
As a lazy girl myself, I loved this! Since you've been doing the recipes from different cultures, how about a fusion kitchen some time?

I can't cook with alcohol either. I am allergic, so I just use chicken stock or veg stock. It also imparts flavor.
I use stock with a bit of vinegar or lemon juice to mimic the acidity of wine. Works very well as long as the wine isn’t a star flavor (beef burgundy, chicken with white wine sauce, etc).
I feel like that some chili crisp would go well with the first recipe or some balsamic
