    The SINGLE biggest factor is successful "pro" poker playing........bank roll management. Period. All of the other stuff matters. 100%. But playing within your comfort zone allows you to play comfortably. You touched on it in #2. Being able to handle the swings within your current level plays into your mindset. You're worrying about losing? You can not and will not play your optimal poker. You're making money decisions and not poker decisions.

    To Point #2… Recently I’ve been playing a site where I don’t have my HUD/PT4 data. It’s given me a sense of calm not feeling the urge to constantly check my session stats and dissect the HUD numbers of every player at my table.
    As such, I feel I play more exploitatively and profitably, and I also achieve more of a “flow state” at the table where I can read and anticipate the action in each hand (the 🐟 are still very obvious without HUD data).

    Played my first game of hold ‘‘em ever last night at Tropicana Atlantic City 1/2 no limit
    Read your notes on Being a Tag took it very seriously.
    Lost $200 in the first few hands, stayed calm bought back in. (Lost to a LAG player to my left)
    Ran a $800 heater come back and slow rolled the LAG player many times after he got confident rolling me early.
    This game truly is all mental, I do sales and it feels very similar to door to door sales!
    8 hours of studying Hold ‘‘em and my first night I brought home $400 in profit 2.5 hours of poker.
    Just gotta have a spine against LAG players that’s what I learned.

    So I've been an online/home game player for a while, just started playing $1/2 at my local casino. After 6 sessions total, I am up $1350 having yet to leave on a loss. Don't know if this is the ultimate sun run or what, but I'm trying to keep this up so I found this video helpful

    You will never beat online poker. I play on stars which is michigan and new jersey. It's the same player pool. Everyone at 12 tables with huds and real time solvers. plated for years you are break even at best, i dont care how good you are. i wasted so much time, i finally banned myself for life

      Sun run, break even. Sun run break even. Story of my life. Played every day for 6-10 hours for a year and a half at 5nl and made 1400 bucks lol. Shits a waste of time. How people have fun constantly getting 85% equity beat every hand is beyond me lol

    Man, I haven't been playing for a few months. Hopped on NLOP this morning, just to see what happens. 15 minutes in, get AK on the button, Reraised a 400 open to 1250, get called. Flop K 7 9 open raiser bets OOP to 1200 I reraise all in. He snap calls with 47s. Turn is a 2, river is a 4. Yep, I'm done with this game for good. This shit is retarded.

      that is the online poker, they give a hope for garbage cards to win so they can get more rake because people will always bet with anything they hold.

      Rule #2 Stop Obsessing over your results is what Nathan is talking about.

    • @idzoavitsi4211
      @idzoavitsi4211 8 месяцев назад

      @roberthaun6622 I don't even play anymore. Some of these guys go on "bad variance" runs for 75k+ hands playing correctly. I don't have the patience to play properly for weeks on end when some guy can come to the table with 7-2 and Crack AK KK and AA 3x in a night, and make more than you did all week playing "correctly". It's a suckers gambit, that game. Even when you play correctly, that gives you a like 5% edge over 300k hands against an idiot. I like blackrain, but there's a reason he's doing website optimization in thailand instead of grinding cards these days.

    • @roberthaun6622
      @roberthaun6622 8 месяцев назад

      I say don't give up. In the long run you will see better results if you're patient and you trap your opponents with a monster hand.

      @roberthaun6622 all I have to play on is shitty unregulated sites like ignition where I live. I looked on my poker tracker from 6 months ago and everyone of my stats say 'falls in line with solid winning players' I swear I have an amazing ability have people jam into my kings with 94o pre and they hit it every single time. I crush the small pots and then lose everytime the money goes in to ridiculous one outers with the best hand for thousands of hands on end. I'm legitimately the only guy that can lose AA v AA multiple times in a session
