Bode has also logical weakness when it comes to lightsaber combat. Namely that he seems to have had only little practice beyond basic training, which means he's very vulnerable to parrying. He has to try to make up that with using gadgets in 1st & 2nd phases and telekinetics in 3rd phase.

Parry animations work better here. I think it's a combination of the sparks and how it's animated, i.e. moving the saber to the right when the attack is coming from the left and "cutting" across to the right.
I'm not a big fan of Star Wars, but I enjoyed it. Semi-Sekiro style combat and exploration are all good. But as is well known already, there's huge optimization issue. I've had dozens of crashes while playing the game. For now, I would say don't buy the game and wait for the problem to be fixed.
@@_ONGBAL exactly how I feel. Also, the open world felt bloated compared to the first game and bosses were cheaper with random hyper armor that allowed them to cheaply hit you through your attacks.
I wonder if this is how Homelander will go down - beaten, bloodied, cornered, then feigns surrender or understanding and tries to leverage the goodness of the Boys against them only to find it doesn't work and they finally end him because Homelander will never change.
Am I the only one who gets a major Ratchet and Clank A Crack In Time vibe from this finale? Think about it- you've handled the major threat (in RaC, it was Dr Nefarious, and in here it's Dagan Gera), and now, someone who has been your ally for most of the game now ends up being the final boss (In RaC, it's Allister Azimuth, and here it's Bode Akuna).
I've done every single boss fight on jedi grand master with no damage and now I'm up to this one. He keeps force pushing me away and spamming me with his blaster, breaking my defence before I can even get close
I played on Jedi Master and got my ass handed four times before I finally beat this fucker. If this isn't the ultimate display of skill in this game - I don't know what is. Well played amigo, what a show...
Its okay seeing games get inspired by Sekiros combat ,but i would prefer they use the deathblow mechanic rather then just give you bonus damage. It doesn't feel as impactful.
I hate how the cutscenes force certain weapons on you. Though I used pistol / crossguard, most my scenes failed continuity. But! Rick the Door Technician was the best thing in this game 😆.
What style of play do you prefer? Heavy & slow cross-saber, quick with easy-parry dual-saber, or blaster and single blade versatility are all good ones.
I think that the blaster saber combo one is very useful, and that the single blade form pairs well with it, especially since it’s very consistent. The cross guard saber form is also very good for damage output and has a decent defense. As shown here, it also pairs well with combos involving the single saber form. The duel blade is easy to use since it increases your ability to survive enemy barrages, but it trades it for lackluster damage and range. The double blade is niche, but useful in its own ways, especially with crowds. I’d say that having multiple different load-outs is a good choice.
Honestly, I don't get why they gave Bode a Polo shirt/Nathan Drake holster combo as opposed to something a little more star-wars-y looking. It makes him look like my uncle if he hit the gym every day and I can't unsee it lmao.

Parry animations work better here. I think it's a combination of the sparks and how it's animated, i.e. moving the saber to the right when the attack is coming from the left and "cutting" across to the right.
Fight ends with Blasters, not sabers.
Which helps cement that Cal isn't really a Jedi anymore. He is a Survivor, Trusting only in the Force
Meanwhile, I finished the first time with no health and no stims. But I still did it!
The way Cal killed him is so Pulp Fiction like
Cal: I can bring you in warm or I can bring you in cold.
Amazing. How do you like this fight / what’s your favorite of this game?
Any final verdict on the game Ongbal? I'd like to hear your thoughts!
@@_ONGBAL thank you for your kinda precious insight !!!
Enemy mocking Ongbal is pure comedy
I used the shockwave attack on this boss as well, eats his stamina and if you do it after his grab attack he'll fall over.
after 2 hours of wining him with almost full pack stims in the same difficulty.|
i safely say this is what Bode deserves. :D
Bode: I must protect my daughter!
Also Bode: nearly drops her down a chasm with a force pull.
Well played amigo, what a show...
well i didn't want to embrace the darkness...so I died :(
When Bode punch Cal if you don't embrace the darkness Cal will be dead already.
Throughout most of the fight, I was still hoping that he would reconsider surrendering, but after he smacked BD-1, I said out-loud "Nah, you're dead"
Its okay seeing games get inspired by Sekiros combat ,but i would prefer they use the deathblow mechanic rather then just give you bonus damage. It doesn't feel as impactful.
It was a boss fight for Bode, gawt DAMN!!!!...
Fun fact: the line "Embrace the Darkness" is a direct reference to the video game, Dark Souls III
I hate how the cutscenes force certain weapons on you. Though I used pistol / crossguard, most my scenes failed continuity. But! Rick the Door Technician was the best thing in this game 😆.
What saber style do you think is the "best?" I'm having trouble find the one for me
What style of play do you prefer?
Love the videos! You ever consider uploading some nioh or strangers of paradise?
Cant wait for the vader fight
This is how I wish I could play on grandmaster, with just pure aggression and the ability to just punish the boss for even daring to attempt a strike.
Honestly, I don't get why they gave Bode a Polo shirt/Nathan Drake holster combo as opposed to something a little more star-wars-y looking.
It makes him look like my uncle if he hit the gym every day and I can't unsee it lmao.
Didnt do his grab move even for once. Watched this video just for tha, just to see how can I dodge that fuckin move.
Bring back young Cal. He was a much more capable boss fighter. Here are his most practical moves that are no longer in jedi survivor: 1.) dash slash 2.) dodge teep kick 3.) dash frontflip slash 4.) high jump lightsaber throw
Can you fight Oggdo Bogdo and the spawn of Oggdo as for me thats one of the hardest boss in the game.
Doesn’t this fight feel a little like Genichiro?
