Even funnier is that he was about to enter his chamber and free him but backed out a a few minutes later when he's skipping to Tanalorr you get a cutscene of Dagan begging "Release me, please!"

Cal got high on death sticks, got arrested, figured he could do Merrin’s teleporting tricks from being so high, crashed Mantis into Koboh, entered Dagan’s hallucination of Tanalor while leaving a pleading Dagan still in his bacta tank, murdered a random dude he barely laid eyes on in Coruscant, inside Dagan’s hallucinations, all while Cere continued to do her thing in Jedha. No one saw Cal again ever after.

Not really sure what's going on with the game window flicking between full screen and windowed mode but it's done a lot during this run to cause unintended glitches. Is doing that really allowed in this category? Seems to go against the spirit of speedrunning a little.
It's pressing f11, which lags the game enough to allow Cal to walk through closed doors and some walls. And yes, it is allowed and a must have for this speedrun.

This is by far the most confusing and most broken speedrun I have ever watched, what the actual fuck. I finished the game and I still don´t know what the fuck i´m watching.
The 1st act of coruscant wqs great, truly a great time in the game, already sets the stakes, the search for greeze turning into a historical conspiracy underground eventually culminating into a view of the world he is saving before finding tanalorr, 2nd act muah, 3rd act beginning in the jungle is a stroke of genius and th4 temple parkour scene had great set design, sadly wasted with no new character there, the switch to tanalorr was a bit out of nowhere especially when we get back to koboh moments later, suddenly the final villain pops out of nowhere with no prior character along with the love interest, also with no prior character, the final part of this great story was a train wreck, I hope they make it better next time, and please remove the ginger on acid plot pount
This is super cool, what’s with the forward dodge movement though? Is it faster than sprinting? Or is it maybe required to prevent losing some temporary glitched state that allows the other tricks?
Skip the save point at rooftops & then go far enough away, void out to respawn back at the start of the tutorial climb, and after going through the tutorial climb normally and droping down into rooftops, the game will deactivate your fall timer. Seems to be the game considering that Rooftops as the 'start of the game' as a lot of flags are tied to it (gaining XP, as another example)
@TenToAceStudios The No Fall Timer (NFT) glitch was actually found by accident during routing of the All Stances category. That was the first time we actually had a purpose to backtrack to Rooftops, and turns out the game just turns off the fall timer 😂
I would assume fighting Bode on the copy of Tanalor that spawns for the cutscene is necessary because the game wouldn't allow you to fly to it wit the Mantis even if the array was aligned, right?

After he skips the climbing section on Coruscant he continues further until getting halfway through the balance beam where if he voids out he'll go back to the climbing section and then if he completes it normally he gains the no fall damage effect which lasts until loading another save, dying or using force slow

Bro do you really think that the speedrunning community finds all of the wildest glitches and speedtech and for some games even changes the language to make dialogue faster really doesn't think about movement? Chaining the dodges and cancelling them with blocking is about 10% faster than just sprinting

hey, does someone knows which settings are being used? and which mods? i hardly believe this is running untouched, as a friend with nvidia 40 series has problems with stuttering and lag, as also i have been playing with a 3070 and obviously have fps drops on koboh.
Its skipped because you can unlock the final planet on Koboh meaning there is no need to go there, if you want to see a run that does go to Jedha and doesn't use heavy glitches then you should check out the glitchless category
Some people like this route because its way easier than the old Mantis clip route but some people still don't enjoy this category and prefer restricted NJ+ for example, thats my go to for this game
@alexeysavelyev a proper speed run is doing it legit but as fast as possible not jumping through walls to skip fights lol it would be more impressive getting the best time but not skipping fights
@@Leedsunited.robson no, a proper speed run is completing the game as fast as you can using only what game gives you (no external tools, altho some societies allow for macros to bind skipping dialogue on a mouse wheel, like mass effect 2). Either you acnowledge usage of glitches or not does not change the definition of a speedrun.

Question - if we can reach actual Tanalorr by using the meditation point in fake Tanalorr, why do we need to activate the alignment control center?
if we don't, then Bode will not spawn on Tanalorr and we have therefore no way to finish the game

The mantis is not at the bar until after the forest array, so this way is just faster, crazy that the copy has working meditation points honestly.
