The amount of love and detail Respawn put into these games is so dope to see. Can’t wait for the 3rd game and I hope Cal gets a debut on the big screen.
I hope he doesn't appear in a movie or show. Knowing Disney theyd kill him off while he was sucking his thumb just to ruin all his previous character development.
Number 11 deserves more context because its not just a simple thing of a guy kills his brother, it’s actually big for the lore of Koboh. Multiple optional areas flesh out the story with scans and echoes - basically the two were inventors who brought stuff like the roller mines to Koboh but the living one got really obsessed with the Jedi chambers and trying to get into them, which worried his brother. Eventually the protests from his brother got too much as his insanity and paranoia grew and he killed him. He is why the roller mines turned on the prospectors too although I’m not sure if it was before or after he killed his brother.
There’s another 2 Easter egg/Reference where you can talk to Eno Cordova and the Easter egg is where he says he knew qui gon jin and last one where master yaddle was the one who trained Jarro topal

More than half of those are not easter eggs. Easter eggs are references that are not brought into attention that call to another cultural work, same universe or no, sometimes unmade yet (such as the hidden room describing Arkham City in Arkham Asylum). Force tears like the double Rancor, the double Oggdo's, taming the Trontoshell, fighting the Gorocco matriarch, unclogging the toilet, holotactics, voice actors playing different characters, tarred boglings, the cutscene from the end of Caij questline, the red lightsaber, among others, are not Easter Eggs.
@destroyer4511 Title might have been changed due to the sheer number of comments pointing it out, you know? Funny thing is, everything I described is not a secret either. So, I stand by my comment.
@@ginkolildawg4802 other than taming the Torontoshell I would say the rest are secrets as they aren’t things that you find by naturally going through the story line, many people wouldn’t have wanted to do the bounty hunter missions for caij, and a lot of people wouldn’t have wanted to find all the force tears. When it’s called a secret it implies secret to general public which of course would exclude the people that have explored enough to find these secrets.

My favorite one was super inconsequential. In Doma's shop you can buy a song for the DJ that's called "Who Mourns for Taris". It was a nice call to KOTOR.
"They are probably fine" trophy/achivement which the description is 'Drop your mount into the great unknown' is a call back to SMW where you can drop yoshi in some bottomless pit and jump-off him to safety Also getting some vibrantly colored nekko to the stables to get a priorite shard from their "drop" always gives me FFVII chocobo breeding vibes
There's a stormtrooper in the game that talks about how he studies a planet before visiting which might be a reference to Del from the battlefront 2 campaign who also has dialogue about studying a planets wildlife before visiting during his time in the empire. Pretty cool imo as Del was my favourite character from that game.
In pyloon saloon there are posters of the star tours ride from Disneyland/Disneyworld. The senators ship on coruscant also has statues of the the Zeffonians from Fallen Order
Two easter eggs that I found by accident are trophies that are directly related to the cosmetic options you get in the game. Cobra Cal (attack the training dumbee while wearing a headband) and Road House (Drop Kick an enemy while wearing a mullet), are direct references to Cobra Kai/Karate Kid and the movie Road House.
Good stuff Sammi liked and subbed 👍🏻 I was so wrong initially about this game. I thought it was going to be more like Fallen order which was an okay game but this took things to a whole new level. The world's are massive, so much to explore and find! Love the stance options. Customization options are awesome. Other than the occasional bluescreening it's an amazing game. I just got back to Koboh from going to Jedah for the second time so I'm prolly roughly 50% or so into the story and got a long ways to go. This game is addicting as hell and that's a rare find these days. Looks like it has reasons to replay it with already acquired upgrades on a harder difficulty so that just adds to its already existing awesomeness. Hope it gets some DLC along the way as well. Cheers 🍻
I just finally bought this game since I love the original and finally was able to build myself a very nice computer. I got to say this is one of the best Star Wars games I have ever played.
You missed the fact the whole “outrider” outfit is an Easter egg. It’s the outfit Dash Rendar wears in the old Shadows of the Empire game (and his ship was the outrider).
There are vague references to KOTOR 1&2. Firstly, you can buy music that references Taris. Also, there are the Exile robes that you can dye white and look closer to Atris's Chronicler Jedi Robes. I may be wrong, but I think references like these need to be vague in order for them to evade notice, or I'm smoking a ton of copeium.
The Outrider outfit is a reference to the SW Legends multimedia project, Shadows of the Empire. Particularly to the character Dash Rendar, who wore a similar jacket and piloted a ship called The Outrider.
This was super helpful! I didn't know that Bode's voice actor was the one who voiced Rampart... Same goes to 6:28, 8:10 and the Mandalorian reference at 8:22. The last one I didn't see coming. However, in the beginning, on Senator Sejan's ship, before his room, on the right, there are 3 Zeffo statues. Guy's a collector... Great video, nonetheless!👏🏻😢
I ran into a random one on that planet too. It was just walking around out in the open near the outpost. Seems like a super rare spawn, but it was really cool to see.
I'm sorry. I guess the term Easter Egg has gotten a lot more expansive. Most of these I'd just consider normal game stuff; especially when it has NPCs telling you to visit these places.
I remember that when i started the game in Coruscant, There was a Titanfall reference name dropping Kuben Blisk. At the very beggining when they are walking Cal to the First dignitary.
Not an easter egg, but something I just assume people wouldn't really figure out, if you go into NG+ and then start a new save you keep the 3 perks from NG+ and the lightsaber colors. Because of this you can bring the purity perk into the Grandmaster difficulty and it makes boss fights kind of a cake walk. I used it on the Rancor fight that blocks the shatter perk and 3 shot it using force slow. Aside from that though it could just be kind of fun to have like the warrior perk on and fight entirely new enemies without having it be made easier because you have like every skill point.
Couple days late to the party but could we get this design 3:51 in your next lightsaber vid? If you remember materials and such of course. Love the videos man!
