Also how he says "hope we don't meet again" he isn't saying it for his sake but for Cal's, like "YOU hope we don't meet again, cuz I won't be as nice next time"

@@Yanah_bruh Boba has dealt with Multiple Jedi’s and even managed too hold his own Against Vader. He’s not too be underestimated. And he is far more than a normal clone.
There was only ever 1 Jedi he was afraid of, that was Starkiller. And the only reason he was scared was because starkiller is insane.
Bear in mind, this is a 23 year old Boba at this point, in prime physical condition and still vastly experienced. This is the start of prime Boba, virtually no one in the galaxy could have challenged him here.
ordinary Bounty Hunters and common Jedi maybe.
Yoda, Obi Wan, Vader and Palpatine could wipe the floor with him without breaking a sweat. Maul and Ventress probably could as well.
An then you have Fennec Shand, Bo Katan, Bossk, IG88 etc. which at least would give him a hard time.

A good example being just how quick on the draw he was when he thought Cal might try and fight him. Didn't hesitate to aim his blaster in his direction at crack speed.

It's so funny that the game developers did boba better in about 5 minutes than the show developers did in an entire series
Seems we can blame Kathleen Kennedy as usual for that. There's word that when Favreau or Filoni (forgot which) was off the set, Kennedy took the helm and just drove it into the dirt. So we can't blame the show Developer(s) - they were hijacked by Hollywood's Termite.

Book of Boba Fett did Boba fine until they spent a third of his show with the wrong character. I think I see where Disney is going with Boba's character:
Prequel era Boba is a good kid who falls in with the wrong crowd.
Original trilogy Boba is the "bad" version. He's selfish and ruthless.
Post-ROTJ boba is more confused. The whole sarlacc incident shook him and he's trying to discover who he is. I think that if we get a season 2, it will be a more defined character.

But dont forget Boba even almost killed Mace Windu AND Anakin when he was 12 Years old. Forget the Book of Boba Boba. Legends Boba is a machine. A predator you cannot overwhealm so easy even if you know the ways of the Force.

To be fair these were two very different points in Boba’s life. This was likely at the hight of his bounty hunting career. Book of Boba Fett was about his change to being something better than just a bounty hunter.
This is the Boba I was expecting to see in the “Book of Boba Fett.” Very stoic, calm, and straight to the point. I understand his character arc had evolved once he made the tusken tribe like his family, but it was strange for him to care for the city next door so deeply when he didn’t have any real ties with outside of his tusken raider clan that was already wiped out.
He wanted to take the place of jabba, so he had to care about what he rules over. That is his tie.
Jedi Survivor takes place 9BBY so this Boba hasn't even met a certain Correllian smuggler and his Wookie copilot. He's got a long way to go before the events of Book of Boba Fett as that guy had finally decided he wanted to leave something behind besides his armor and a terrifying reputation.

I love how Boba points his blaster at Cal with his hand on top of the stock, just like how he aimed at Luke on the skiff before Luke cut his blaster in half.
Very western style and I loved it.

I just realized he probably does that on purpose for Jedi - so his hand doesn't get cut off like the late Jango Fett
He also rests his hand on top of his blaster rifle the same way he did at Jabba's palace.

Agreed. Unlike A New Hope's later editions and other Pre-ESB media that seems to constantly give Boba his RotJ paint job and not his ESB colors.

I don't know what's better: the fact that they made Boba Fett better in 4-5 minutes of the game better than in the entire show, or that Temuera Morrison voiced him in the game.
Morrison loves star wars and especially the Fetts, basically anyone that asks him to do it he will do it for..He and Billy Dee Williams have personal stake/ownership of their star wars characters that make them endearing AF.

Reason number 1 why he is the best bounty hunter: he is a professional and professionals have standards. He was hired for Caij and when he more than likely knew there was also one for Cal, he focused on the job he was hired for.
Boba Fett, like any good Mandolorian, operates with honor. His services are pricy, but he never takes a job that does not fit his code. You hire the best, you get exactly what you pay for.

I like that they chose “Jango’s Escape” for the battle soundtrack. Almost as if they were hinting at Boba’s arrival.
I knew where it was going as soon as I heard the opening notes, I was worried they wouldn’t go all the way if they were playing this song just because; “Hey it’s a bounty hunter.” And not because; “Boba is on his way and you better pray your not his bounty this time.”
Sooo good. When I heard it come in I thought "I know it's a bounty hunter fight but it's kinda lame to play a Fett theme"

Caij is one of my favorite characters from this entire game, I should have seen her betrayal from a mile away, but, it’s weird I saw the main story betrayal coming before I saw hers 😂 a shame though, she would’ve been an awesome ally
Totally. I love her accent and how whimsical and sarcastic she is. I was hoping she'd help with dealing the raiders or Dagan but doubted it would happen. She's a cool character for what little we see though so I'm hoping we might see her again in something.

I was hoping she wouldnt but i knew she would. And the bode thing i figured because of how overly nice he was and how everyone died at first but him and the few wierd encounters like him being disappointed everytime hidden path was mentioned or after dagan gera fight he wanted to “stick around” i didnt know it was so he could loot dagans body for his lightsaber lol but i knew it was shady after he was disappointed lookin and said ill catch you in a sec or whatever he said
I had a feeling she would when I first saw her (honestly it was her wanted “poster” on Courusant that made me initially suspicious) but definitely knew she would after the 3rd or 4th bounty and some comments she made.

0:24 that scene really reminded me of the Spider-Man scene at the start just outside Fisk's office, you can see both Spidey and Pete gently looking to the side, knowing what's about to happen before defending themselves

I never thought I'd see the REAL Boba Fett back in this era- just the way I remember and just the way the fans wanted. Cold, menacing, man of few words, and everything is pure business with him. The setup is also textbook Boba, as well as classic western, with the three-way standoff being a homage to The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Nice touch, EA. Never thought you had it in yah.
This is exactly why the Jedi hid and laid low. The Empire made it worth everyone’s time turning them in.

This fight scene/cinematic was incredibly well thought out and full of tension. You can sense it the moment Boba has his weapon ready for Cal even tho he already got his bounty secured. and then making cal question whether it's worth it to save her or walk away just makes it feel like an actual film scene. amazing
The three way stare down is a typical western movie trope (The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly). Fucking brilliant use of it

The developers were really telegraphing these turns man. You shouldn’t be able to call out the betrayals as soon as you meet the person.
Honestly I have only started this game a week in and called out all the betrayals 😭😭😭🤣
They weren't obvious at all to me at least. Might be due to my lack of ability to tell social cues or something but I legit saw no betrayals coming
To be fair, Cal didn’t seem all that surprised, I think he kind of expected this betrayal. Just this one though.
I think it's more cause we've seen betrayal plots enough to pick up the cues.
So it's not as much of "poor writing", as "we've seen this before".
id rather have an obvious betrayal instead of a completely unprompted one
When I went to fight this boss, I hadn’t done the orb puzzle right next to the arena, so I tried doing it, accidentally caught the attention of the nearby gorocco, tried running back down to the puzzle with the orb, dropped down and realized the gorocco followed me down, and made me back away enough to trigger caij’s healthbar to appear (even though I didn’t talk to her at all yet), and triggers the ending cutscene with an invisible caij, locking me out of what seems to be an actually good bounty hunter 1v1 :(
The same happened to me😂😂😂 I was able to fight her again but she killed me and I can't retry the fight.
How come bobba fett is a way better character in this game that only has him for a couple of minutes than the character we see in Book of bobba fett
Bc this isn’t made by Disneys 2023 agenda to underpower The male character so the Strong female character can be the lead role.

I love this version of boba so much his armor is the best looking during the empire strikes back.
I still love hoe Caji knows Cal has taken on some powerful foes and has fought against what would otherwise be impossible odds, and still goes "Hmm, yes, I could probably beat him"

Okay. Kudos to the developers for using the same music in this fight that was used for when Kenobi fought Jango in Attack of the Clones. Kind of foreshadows Boba’s appearance too!

5:40 for some reason this little movement really feels like the original actor did it, it feels so in line with that semi elegant yet efficient way Boba fett moved around in the OT
That little gun pickup at the end of the fight, I wanted Cal to pick up her hat so bad! We need it!
He's only in his early to mid twenties here and is already the most bone chilling bounty hunter in the galaxy.

Does anyone else love Caij? I feel like she is one of the only "quirky" characters that is really likable for some reason. Usually Star Wars has a terrible record of this: Jar Jar, the Mechanic from Mandalorian, ect.
It’s probably cuz she’s more morbid so the contrast between her humor and her actions is darkly funny. Her quirkiness doesn’t automatically mean the writers make her a good person either. She’s actually a complete dick, but sometimes that’s likable in a character 😂
Her accent kinda reminds me of the Junker Queen from Overwatch

I loved how Boba Fett switched his rifle to one hand on her and his wrist flamethrower on Cal (Boba knows his wrist laser would be futile)
I really hope to see Cal in the newer Boba Fett seasons just for an interaction between the two since I like to think that after this they did a few things job seeker and had a mutual agreement I won't mess with you if you don't mess with me kind of agreement like Boba doesn't take up bounties for him in return Cal doesn't really interfere with his bounties

It's just contrived videogame logic, and pulling out of thin air a "yes, it's definently possible for a random bounty hunter to have lighstaber blocking energy spikes on her gun".
There used to be a time when the only thing that could block a lightsaber was another lightsaber. But ever since the introduction of electrostaffs in the prequels they have progressively gotten more and more crazy with the amount of technology and materials that just flat out counter lightsabers
not to mention that force sensitives are supposed to have superreflexes. At least with magnaguards, they are enhanced droids with inhuman strength and speed. But a "regular" person who is not a trained force sensitive shouldn't stand a chance in melee against a jedi regardless of weapon. But the videogame gotta videogame I guess.
This takes place years before the events of The Mandalorian so of course Boba is going to be the Boba more along the lines of Empire Strikes Back. It wouldn’t make sense if he showed up with his Tusken robes and Gaffe stick.
And who knows what will take place post Book of Boba Fett. If I had to guess, he will have a bigger purpose than just as the Diamo of Mos Espa.
I do think this fight is a homage to the Good, the bad and the ugly, specifically the scene of the trio staring eachother down before shooting, and Caij's saying of there are two types of people in this world, mirroring what blondie has said throughout the movie.

Didn't realise you could talk to her. I assumed she was gonna back stab Cal after a couple of bounties didnt trust her at all. So as soon as i saw her i ran and slashed at her instantly and she back flipped off the cliff and died, didnt even fight her.
