I appreciate the fact that you didn't use lock on unlike every single gameplay video on the internet, it makes the gameplay way more immersive and fun to watch.
Thanks, there was just something that seemed too restrictive to the gameplay with lock on enabled. I think most people used it because without it the fights are more difficult to keep track of when attacks are being made. Especially for the second phase of Rayvis because he takes up the whole screen you can barely see when he is gonna attack and Bode because he keeps dashing to your flank you can't see when he attacks until you align the camera by then he is already attacking.
Only thing is that the cutscene doesn't que, so you can't finish the game but instead of pushing him you can just fight him to which he will be nerfed because of the glitch and beat the game having fought a nerfed final boss.
I appreciate that you used almost every kind of saber skills and force to defeat the boss, not just pure parry and normal attack which makes it more fun to watch and more like a real jedi.

He was so menacing to fight, when you are first clashing sabers and he leans in and then when he uses the force to hold your saber the second time that gave me chills
This video makes me think how Cal is definitely one of the very few Jedi who are masterfully skilled in Lightsaber combat. Hes still getting the hang of using the dark side powers so imagine how much powerful he can get if we get a third game
For the third game i'd like them to have it take place between The empire strikes back and Return of the Jedi, so that Cal can meet Luke and maybe hand over some wisdom before retiring with Merrin and Kata, knowing that Luke is many times stronger in the force than himself and will be the one who beats the empire. But given how the games has progressed, i'd guess the next game will take place 4 years before A new hope (5 years into the empire in fallen order, then 10 years into the empire in Jedi survivor). So... Maybe we get to meet Obi-Wan of Yoda instead?
@@MukationFor the next game should 100% be an established villian that we know is quite powerful but not so powerful that they can't be taken out without it feeling like plot armour. I think Maul and Crimson Dawn work really well for this, because we don't yet know how Maul goes from secret intergalactic Kingpin to the Dark Side Hermit we see in Star wars rebels. You could intercut it with some inquisitor boss fights. Maybe even a less broken version of Starkiller but I think Darth Maul would work as the main boss. Plus Crimson Dawn offers the idea of a bunch of assassins getting involved and new enemy types. It might end up being like Star Wars:John Wick in a way lol. Could link it with that Star Wars Outlaws game as well if you wanna do the criminal underworld. With Cal getting stronger, he needs a true test.
@@MikeCoxmaul Not Vader for Round 2? I mean now that Vader has killed Cere, it kinda makes it a necessity for Cal to at least get a retribution round. Assuming the next game is the final installment of the Jedi series (or at least the end of Cal Kestis arc and we then move on to a new protagonist), we can get a story such as: "Cal joined the Rebellion and established a base on Tannalor, but then Tannalor was exposed the Empire; the rebellion was on the verge of losing a battle important enough to affect how stories in the original trilogy would play out. Vader has joined the battle and Cal was forced to go in and buy the Rebel Alliance time to escape, ultimately stuck in scenario where Cal tries to trade 1 for 1 and bring Vader down with him but ultimately failed with Vader rising from the ruins. And yet this failure bough enough time for the Alliance's fleet to use the compasses to navigate through the nebula surrounding Tannalor and arrived on Yavin IV at the end of the story." To make this ending a little brighter, we can have something like "Cal actually didn't die as well in his final duel with Vader, but was mysteriously sent into a long hibernation by the force power residing on Tannalor where he wouldn't have woken up until end of the Return of the Jedi, and then Cal leaves Tannalor and unites with Merrin.”
Ive always thought that the game difficulty should have been labeled backwards. As a Jedi Grand Master nothing should really hurt you and you should be able to overpower your opponents easily. Whereas, Jedi Padawan is much more difficult considering your lack of power and experience.
It's labeled according to player skill not character strength. If it was as you say, it wouldn't make much sense that only the most skilled players would attempt being a Padawan. Anakin was completely overpowered, but not great with combat smarts, whereas Yoda wouldn't need to defeat his opponents with overwhelming force because he has the experience to see the gaps in their defense and dispatch enemies quickly and accurately. Though I would argue that a similar approach to Ghost of Tsushima's hardmode would be better implemented here. A game mode where everyone dies in just a few hits, and skill and awareness are crucial to success. Though I agree that having to hit your opponent 50+ times to dispatch them doesn't really impress a sense of skill upon the player...
That would have made things much easier for me too, instead of having to go through the first phase of Rayvis every time just to learn his second phase.
47:00 You doing the Baylan's double spin move from Ashoka series was an awesome finisher for Vader. Obi-Wan struck on the same spot before this in the Kenobi series. So Vader must be so pissed that his patience meter depleted completely and went for the kill after that.
My friend shareplayed this with me cause he kept getting killed by most of these bosses i honestly thought i was a great Jedi Master but i am happy and proud to see that there is someone who is on a completely different level than i am and i proudly bow down to you Grandmaster you are the best period
Vader absolutely bodied Cere in that fight. Holding his saber in one hand most of the fight. A little Force push pushes Cere, back, a bigger one sends her flying. Reaches out, tosses a few records at Cere, who is pushed back. Pulls Cere to him basically whenever he wants. Cere's pushing her lightsaber against Vader's, but then he matches it with the pure power of the Force. Yeah, that's not his health bar, that's his patience bar. But when his patience bar ran out and Vader decided to get serious, Cere comes real damn close to emptying out his health bar as well. If Vader had come in, guns blazing, with the sole purpose of killing Cere and destroying the archives, and not toying around with her until he almost died, then Cere would have lasted all of five seconds. But if he had, Vader wouldn't be Vader, and the Dark Side wouldn't be the Dark Side.

The glitch at the top was even better because he was all in the Jedi's face like "as soon as this thing stops....we gon' fight" knowing he stood no chance. Nice, here read this. THE LIGHTSABER FORMS OF STAR WARS (except form 8, I'm lazy like that.) I haven't included every instance were the weakness of a form has been solved or accounted for by a Jedi masters personal touches to the form they use. Form 1: Named Shii-Cho. The determination Form. being the oldest form of lightsaber combat and the most simple. It has a focus on simple broad strikes and is subsequently taught to every Jedi youngling, almost no Jedi use it past their training as a youngling except for Jedi master and council member Kit Fisto had Mastered this form to a deadly level of perfection, simple strikes were made ferocious by the sheer unpredictability that kit fisto added to his strikes. an opponent would have no clue where the next strike was coming from. It's main weakness is being not that complicated, it's basically the Starter form to learn the basics from and then move on. Kit Fisto is the only example i know of where it is more than that, MUCH MORE in Kit Fisto's case. Form 2: Named Makashi, the dueling form. Most effective against a singular opponent, focuses on Precise strikes. Weakness is Defense, particularly against multiple opponents. Form 3:Named Soresu, The defense form. It is said that a true master of Soresu is untouchable from any attack. Weakness Is no Offensive capabilities on it's own. Form 4: Named Ataru, the agile offense form. Focused on relentless light attacks from different directions and in quick succession, usually enhanced with the force. Weakness is fighting in enclosed terrain and opponents with Strong physical strength. Form 5(Variant 1): Named Djem-So. The offense form. Strong handed attacks, Parries and counter attacks followed by a relentless assault, The goal was to break the enemy trough pure strength and assault Weakness is a Lack of Agility and not the strongest defensive capabilities. Form 5(Variant two): Named Shien. This form was harder to find info about. It was made to fix Djem-So's lack of agility and strong defense but still kept a focus on attack, It is most effective against multiple blaster wielding opponents and as a result of it's improved agility it allows for A reverse grip to be utilized with Form 5. It's Main weakness is dueling against a singular opponent. Shien is almost an exact opposite from Makashi. Form 6: Niman. The Average form. Niman was the latest form of lightsaber combat and one of the most popular, it had traits of every previous lightsaber form And was most effective when utilized along side force attack. It's strength was a lack of weaknesses, but it's weakness was a lack of strengths. Having all the traits of the previous lightsaber forms meant it was okay in a lot of circumstances but could never achieve the same level of potential as any of the previous, more dedicated, forms of lightsaber combat leading to a lack of "lethality" compared to the previous stances. Form 7: Named Juyo, the bad guy form. Juyo encouraged Jedi to embrace their emotions and use them to fuel a relentless assault (Kind of the dark side). This form was banned from the Jedi order by the Jedi council, it was used by the jedi order at one point but I don't know specifically when, most likely around a millennia BBY.

It goes without saying that your gaming skills is legendary and majesty it makes it look like you're the boss fight lol
I love every single bits of edit you add on to the video which isn't something I've seen other RUclipsrs like you do. 0:50 40:41 51:55 52:32 are absolute gold lmfao. Although it's a bit weird that Rayvis fight is the first part of the video
This guy's skill keeps Darth Vader awake at night.
I was screaming at the beginning when u tossed his ass across the room then everytime he tried to attack u force grabbed him lol and tossed him like a rag doll lol
Think of what an incredible mass murderer Cal is. Thousands of kills
Really good precise evades bro, ive noticed that precision evading is harder than in Falle Order
I was honestly expecting more inquisitors in this game.
0:55 THIS. IS. SPARTAA!!!
I didn't realize just how badly Cal hurt the Ninth Sister in Fallen Order until the second or third time I fought her in this one.
Well that’s one heck of a glitch fighting Bode
will Kata Akuna be Cal's padawan in Star Wars Jedi: New Game?
16:20 looked soooo smooth it could almost have been a cutscene
Just imagine - Sekiro Combat - But with Lightsabers. It would make way more sense than 50 + strikes with arguably the most dangerous weapon and the enemy is still chillin
The disrespect to Rick is unacceptable!
But seriously, that's some crazy skill to pull this off in the Bode fight and final Dagan fight.
He has God Mode on. He's been hit several times and taken no damage. Unless there is like an armor that prevents an excessive amount of damage, and its just absorbing every hit.
literally noticed this instantly myself, been playing fighting games like this for wayyy to long not to noticed when someone is hit mid swing. definitelyu has god mode or other mods activated
Nice, here read this.
THE LIGHTSABER FORMS OF STAR WARS
(except form 8, I'm lazy like that.)
I haven't included every instance were the weakness of a form has been solved or accounted for by a Jedi masters personal touches to the form they use.
Strong handed attacks, Parries and counter attacks followed by a relentless assault, The goal was to break the enemy trough pure strength and assault
Weakness is a Lack of Agility and not the strongest defensive capabilities.
God dam you good at this game ... i recently just started playing this and no way i could do any of these boss fights with out the lock on nevermind not taking any dmg good job
The way dagen was fighting i wonder if vader ever heard about him
@9:21 😂
Just keep tapping the blue number if you wanna laugh
15:30
Kal: "Wow! A red lightsabeer ? That's, like, for evil guys and siths and stuff, man!"
Also Kal: * ignites red lightsaber *
rick almost ended you right at the very start youre lucky he had mercy that day
How are your parry’s so good I can only do like 3 in a row, I played grandmaster like you but you are clearly way better at the game than me
I lot of practice, patience and good timing.
I'ts fun how at the first two stages of bode you can just lift him with force telekinessis and he will be defenceless af XD.
Had no idea, well too late now.
@@GamedgamerGg Yeah that was the one force power that this fight didn't just make really useless. Kinda a bummer because I loved push/pulling the other bosses then this guy is just immune.
Rayvis: I want a warriors death
Also Rayvis: but before I will yield like a pussy to betray the guy I fight for, then after I'm done I will take the warriors death
It’s the sound effects for me 😂
Gravity, the only way Kal could snatch victory from the jaws of defeat when battling Rick.
He just standing there... Menacingly
