Melissa Rockensies, a married New York mother of three, entered a guilty plea to one count of endangering the welfare of a child. A teenage boy reported to officials at his middle school that he and Rockensies regularly had sex in her car and exchanged lewd messages. @@marczewskimarkus8938 I used to think that way but it’s getting pretty disturbing this is non stop, and people laugh about it. A 14 year old can’t comprehend why this is wrong. They don’t have the life experience or understanding yet to deal with emotionally they’re being used by an adult. This is a horrible way for a kid to be introduced into a relationship. These kids that keep getting abused by these women will never be the same. The fact majority of these teachers get caught because the student reports it shows the kid is uncomfortable afterwards.

I'm honestly so shocked with the breach of justice in this case. What bothers me the most is how prevalent these crimes are. With that being said, it's absolutely appalling to see the lack of a double standard in situations regarding s*xual crimes. It just doesn't make sense to me how she walks free with nothing more than a slap on the wrist after a year of committing statutory r*pe of a child.

I was in a similar situation with a married teacher who lived two streets away from me when I was 15. It was a very different time when most guys thought it was a cool thing. That was over 20 years ago and I now know it was classic grooming. That led to me being in a relationship with a woman who was 27 when I was only 17 and a 35 y/o when I was 21.

Prosecutors are working to avoid financial liabilities to the county and state agencies. So these female employee/offenders are getting off with lesser charges.
