I tried a melonpan in Tokyo last year and can confirm they are SO delicious! Also as a Mexican, I can confirm that they are extremely similar to our conchas

Yes, i was just about to say that, I make these homemade myself. Family always says, I fill them with memories! I was wondering if she seen this recipe, and thought it was called melonpan, but its pan de huevo or conchas? Just a tip: “fermentation until twice as bigger” is grammatically incorrect. You can change it to “ferment until twice as big” or change to common recipe English notation with something like “allow dough to rise until doubled in size” This is meant supportively and is of course just a recommendation - your format is your own. There was a bakery in Seoul I used to frequent that put honeydew flavored cream in the middle of their melonpan. It was dreamy..... :Q I might try to recreate that with this recipe!

메론빵은 메론 색소 넣어서 연두빛으로 만들면 진짜 너무 이쁘더라구요 ㅋㅋ 저는 전에 만들때 메론 크림도 만들어서 안에 넣어서 먹었는데 메로나맛나서 너무 좋았었네요 ㅎㅎ
