I recorded this merely as an exercise for myself which is why I didn't film it, but ultimately decided it was good enough to share. I played the keys first, then the drums, then the bass. The bass is tuned to drop D. See full technical details below.

Our boy Josh going thru a Vulf phase
It's more of a vulf *lifestyle*
I fully support the way of the vulf
The collab we don't deserve
He’s always been going through a vulf phase. Someday, we will see the inevitable collab. Josh loves vulf
Maybe he’s been listening to the new Woody album High Loon
The classic man vs. machine. Like a modern day John Henry, Josh will go down in history as the only man brave enough to stand up, look at ChatGPT and say: "time to dance, motherfunker"
One day Josh will go where no musician has ever dared go before! We are so lucky to have Kelli right there with him to record the journey! KUDOS to you both!!!
Nice use of the Vulf comp, I hope you guys do a collab for real one day!
Vulf and Josh would be a collab for the ages.
If he needs me I"ll be there!
Kelly has outdone herself here! Great little Chatgpt video feed. Great music. Josh dancing with Kelly directing. Such a creative and fun couple.
Are we having fun yet ? Musicians sure live in a wonderful world. It is a wise man who never loses a child's heart. If everyone would loosen up the world might be a better place! thanks josh
The epitome of someone thinking it was funny in a friend group but then forgetting lots of people would be viewing it.
Part of me hopes this was done with no drugs but I doubt it was 😂
What a time to be alive
Hi Josh, this is the craziest video I've seen you upload. I am a massive fan of your channel and I'm blown away by your catalogue of music (covers and originals) because of how superb your work is.
I'm most thankful for your rendition of Aguas De Marco which I believe was originally sung by Tom and Elis. It is this cover that introduced me to Tom Jobim and I am in love with all of his music. I also listened to your rendition of Corcovado, which I didn't know was a real place because of how heavily romanticised it's lyrics are, and was pleasantly surprised to learn I've seen it in movies and on TV for the better part of my life.
I am a Malawian man who loves to travel but can't afford to so I experience the world's cultures through music. Rediscovering bossa nova less as intermission music through your channel has been fun.
This year has been especially rough because in March I lost my father who had a very serious illness that crippled and diminished him over the last 7 years. It was very difficult and painful to watch the man who raised me slowly begin to lose so much of himself. In the end his illness took the better part of his mind and we could only have a few minutes to an hour of coherent conversation at most.
In his final days he couldn't speak and was in and out of consciousness. It was very sad. My family and I had to be very strong for him. We'd speak to him even if he couldn't reply. I played of music. He loved hob Marley in his youth so I'd go to the hospital and play it and sing and even dance at times depending on the company it was my way of coping and it helped raise my spirits and others in the hospital.
In early March he passed away in his sleep. He had returned from the hospital and was home. I part of me was expecting this. I knew we didn't have long together but it was still shocking. I part of me felt relief. I didn't like seeing him suffer like that. So began my grief. A week after his funeral, I massive hurricane hit our country resulting in floods and that destroyed houses and displaced thousands of families. It didn't affect my immediate family but some of my uncles and aunts had to move because their houses were flooded. They lost everything.
On a Sunday, in the middle of march, I was sat in the car with my sister on our way back from church, I felt the heaviness of it all. I knew she felt it too. So I suddenly asked her if she knew of a man called Antonio Carlos Jobim. She said she didn't so I played your rendition of Aguas de Marco and explained that the song is in Brazilian Portuguese and is an aesthetic song; It doesnt tell a story. Instead it's like a picture with words. You see parts of it at a time "a stick, a stone" but it all comes together pretty well in the end. She loved it.
Your comment call my atention. I'm from Brasil, and feel very glad to see people from other places apretiating our music. It's nice when music can express things we can't say, and when it brings us hope and steght to keep going. I'm sorry for your lost. May God confort your soul ❤
@@carolinau7048 Thank you. Your music is wonderful and brings me a lot of joy. I am grateful for your the kindness in your words and wish you God's blessings. 😊🙏
Awesome comments!
10/10 concept and execution
It’s so funky and it’s low volume, cmon, yeah
Everyone else has already said it, but this is the most Vulfpeck song I have ever heard. This sounds right at home with the entire Thrill Of The Arts album.
We were not aware of your magnificent dancing skills ! Vulf' crew will like it :)
don't drink and drive when you can smoke and fly...🎈🌻💙
You just never know what you'll get with this channel, haha. Love the song, and thoroughly enjoyed the silly video. I don't usually watch these (just listen) but I watched this one all the way through, so props to both of you!
Hahaaa. I hate how much I love this....love your work and hip hip horray for genius edits Kelly Oden!
A cool side of you we’ve never seen before. Creativity at it’s finest! Thanks Josh🌝🆒
Arse kissing at it’s finest from Freddy.
Brian David Gilbert x Vulfpeck vibes, loved it

Great!!!!
Buen trabajo Josh
Brilliant!
This is a jam!
Too cool!
Going into vogue modelling as well now? Bloody hell, you never cease to amaze me with all your talents. 😂😂
Jack Stratton vibe (both visual - good job Kelly- and soundwise) - cool sounds. Did the AI came up with the progression? I missed that one ...
Enjoyed!
I'd love to see you collaborate with Vulf!
Brava, Kelly.
Luv it Luv it Luv it . This will be on my Playlist for sure.👍🌻👍
More of this please Josh! I know you've been watching those Vulf vids ;)
Add this to the list of things you can't unsee.
That was funkin' good! 😊
oh he is vibin' it up
The video is great, the idea is good, the music is... well... basically I like Jazz... and the final result is somehow modern, creative and entertaining... thanks for another interesting video, Josh & Kelly 😊.
Historians in the future: Note that immediately after filming this video, the artist known as "Baby Turner" was conceived.
Take us to Funky Town!
This was cool
Groooooooovyyyy....!
Can you do a video of the tabs for trivia night?
an actual bop
Good dance moves too❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Some lovely shapes you are throwing there man…
VISUAL aaaaa ❤❤❤❤
I think Chat GPT broke Josh.
Nice air guitar/bass/drum/keyboard ! And you still got the move since that Funky Town cover way back.
I was wondering who was gonna bring hawt and sexy back to James Bond's opening credits. Our answer is here at long last.
I keep coming back to this.....Now I want to know how many hours Josh spent dancing. This cracks me up every single day!
Well , will you.look at that .Josh has got some moves !....dressed in Christmas colors too
I see we've reached the low volume funk stage. When do we get a full lenght klezmer album?
Josh is now a superstar not embarrassed about anything. Next thing he will be biting the heads of chickens.
Great tongue-in-cheek video. I don't know exactly what that means but I know how to find out.
Awesome 😂
It’s so funky and it’s low volume.
1:14 That whole bassline is like riding a Rollercoaster without a safety bar! What's going on in those harmonies?
It's a V7/vi - vi - ii7(3rd inversion) - V7(1st inversion) - V - I - V/IV (3rd inversion) - IV(1st inversion) - V7/V (1st inversion) - V - V7. Then back to the A part. It's a chord progression strongly influenced by Bach and the so-called "common practice period" where secondary dominants and inverted chords allow the bass to use stepwise motion even as the chords seemingly leap around. A great example of this is Bach's famous prelude in C major from the Well-Tempered Clavier book 1.
@@JoshTurnerGuitar 🤗😘
Eric Forman vibes!!!
If this ain’t playin at the club I ain’t goin
I only play air guitar but can I be in the band?
Actually one of yr best yut.. honest is alwuys best.
sweet video *
He truly is the second greatest dancer!
Fun piece of satire. I think we’re safe from the bots and AI ‘brains’ for the time being, Josh. Keep being creative!
JoshGPT!
The background video is me having an existential crisis at 2 in the morning. My bad guys.
You've been watching those David Byrne videos haven't you? ;-)
Did Josh know you were filming him during all of this?
1:11 to 1:14 was my favourite part
Hahah wtf, love it
Oh oh, langsam aber sicher dreht Josh durch - oder ?
😜🤪😉
❤
It misses the salty imperfection that glues but flavours. This is wallpaper...
We need Josh Turner x Jack Stratton collab ASAP
I would love for you to cover everybody’s talkin by harry nilsson 😊
It's a threat to artists, writers, programmers, lawyers -- so many of us. Learn to grow food!
Josh Stratton!
This is a clear reference to Wolfgang Puck videos 😊
Who else watched this twice... 1st for reading the text, 2nd for the ...um... visuals? Anyone? Just me? Ok then.
Hahaha ! I got fooled (and rick-rolled) by SynthGPT. Was watching a Rick Beato video on the possible impact of AI on music - it was amazing, I had no idea !
Way different a little strange but rather cool i like it
I don't know what's happening but I'm all in 😅
more of that ;p
this has strong bill wurtz energy
josh turner vulfpeck collab when
Josh breaks his JW image. I like it!
Really Fun to Watch at 2 X Speed. 🙂
Big vulfvibes, and that's a good thing.
Me trying to read the text
Josh butt:😚
Goofball. Love it!
🙏💐☝️👑🌠
Love Josh's music but visually this reminds me a bit of Tobey Maguire in Spiderman 3 ;- )
Also, GPT is hyped enough already. Does really everyone need to use and hype it more? Before soon billions use and feed it knowingly or unknowingly, it would not hurt to learn/hear/see more about where this could lead. An issue with ever improving and extended machine self learning is that it not only can already or soon do many things better than humans but that we may not in control anymore of how much it learns (and who uses that what for). One thing is clear: no one builds this to be a fun chat tool and ghostwriter...
Those, uh. Those hip motions. Those hip motions are, uh. They're surprisingly, uh... 🥵🥵🥵
Is that a velour shirt?
Vulf comp sauce on top
I think the strangest thing about chatGPT is the large amounts of clean water it consumes
Reminds me of some of the Beastie Boys instrumental vignettes in the early 90s.
