Steam deck has made it possible to streamline gaming overall making console exclusive less of a thing : Sony's PC ports as mentionned, Xbox always ported to PC, Nintendo with the possibility of emulation, Steam exclusives and overall games that require more advance hardware to run. All of this while being able to be portable or play like a console docked is amazing
@@CulturedVultures Dark Souls 1 for longer sessions, replaying Ori and the Blind Forest with my girlfriend for the 3rd time and Rogue Legacy 1 for shorter session :)
Awesome games that run surprisingly well I've played on the OLED: Aliens Dark Descent, Alien Isolation, Arkham Knight, Crysis Remastered 1-3, Days Gone, Dead Space Remake, Dishonored 2, Dying Light, Elden Ring, Fallout 3/4/ & NV(even with mods!), Gears Tactics, Lies of P, Prey, Rage 1 & 2, Sekiro, Shadow Tactics, System Shock Remake, Rogue Trader, Wasteland 3, and Witcher 3.

I would add a few for sure to this list: - Little Nightmares 1 and 2 - Ori - Risk of Rain 2 and Returns - The Witcher 3 - Xcom2 - And my recent favorite Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor
Ori and the wotw is probably my favorite. I’m replaying it on the steam deck rn. I played it on Xbox the first time but now I can play it just about anywhere on an OLED screen
Astral Ascend is a Roguelike worth mentioning. It mixes the builds and hub world of Hades with the 2D platforming presentation of Dead Cells. The story isn’t anything to get excited about, but the game has some of the smoothest combat I’ve experienced in a game.
Let us not forget that even if the steam deck cannot run specific games directly, it still allows us the freedom to play those titles from the couch, bed, or toilet via remote play. At ultra settings also, if your PC and WIFI can handle it, of course.
29k gang, great video. I’m so excited as I just got my steam deck 3 days ago and cannot wait to get games and start playing. These types of videos are amazing for helping with ideas on what to add to my wish list. I’ve never done any PC gaming before I’ve always had consoles so I’m a bit nervous about all the proton talk I’ve heard and fiddling I may have to learn in order to play my games so If anyone has any tips, tricks or suggestions for games to play on my new deck I would be extremely grateful. Hopefully this will be a stepping stone to me someday gaming on a full PC. Take care everyone .

Buying a refurbished Steam Deck and adding a new 1 or 2 TB ssd, would be a pretty solid value gaming device. $280 for the 64 GB model and add a $75 or $150 ssd upgrade would give you a lot of gaming. And you could always add in a 1 TB microSD card. 3 TB of storage would hold many games for your enjoyment.
You know you can tinker with the settings? I play on my steam deck at home exclusively, so being steam deck verified I can increase the graphic settings in exchange for battery life. Which is likely 1-2 hours.
A lot of these games you can play on the switch, i was looking for some good games that stretches the limit of the steam deck. Nice selection though. Keep it up!
Lot of those games have mobile ports to BE honest, if someone does not have a Steam deck can get a controller gamesir or ipega? And Turn the phone intro a console. Allways important to Say🎉
It's still weird to me how anyone recommends FPS games on a steam deck, I guess I'm just too bad or too dumb to understand how you can play that as comfortably as with a mouse.
Outrun ensured that Yakuza Zero is never uninstalled from my Steam Deck, I still have to find and unlock Super Hang On, Sega games have occupied my Steam Deck SSD for more than two years.
I’ve been playing Oblivion, the controls are kind of janky for steam deck (it’s not a verified game for deck) but it’s still a blast and the soundtrack is goat
Here's my suggestions buy these :- mark of the ninja, little nightmares both , inside and limbo , tekken 8 , mgsv tpp and gz , splinter cell series , cup head series

How am I supposed to play Project Zomboid in my deck when it’s needed to use mouse/keyboard ??? Yeah I can connect mouse/keyboard to the deck but then in that case I should better play on my PC 🤦🏻♂️
Great video. However some of your games require a mouse and the steam deck isn't great when a mouse is needed. I recommend games that have been ported from console like days gone and horizon forbidden west. They run and play great!
It’s a steady 40-45 fps on the deck. It may drop a few times or even at more heavier moments. But it’s fun and looks visually great on handheld. It also has decent battery life while playing it too.
Runs like playing god of war, runs super smooth, not right out of the box though, you will have to tinker with some settings to get a decent frame rate but it does run really well. 👍🏾
