The Steam Deck and the Steam Deck OLED have completely changed gaming putting the power of PC in the hands of gamers. Its always amazing to see what can run on the Steam Deck, so lets take a look at some of the best games you can play on the Deck in 2024

Steam Deck is the best purchase for gaming I've made so far. I own a PS5 and Xbox Series X and find myself playing the Deck way more often.
Plus you can stream your consoles to it, it’s nice to play from my xbox saves in bed using xbplay
I use my deck 4x as much as my consoles, yet play my console games on it! Greatest purchase ever!!
Same, but i use chiacki4deck Daily to stream ps5, nothing like booting up Bg3 on that oled display after a hard day at work 😊

I just bought a steam deck OLED 1 TB. So this video has me excited. It arrives next week. I decided to forego purchasing PS5 and Series S/X. New subscriber.

For me sd is the best console for gaming. I mean you cant take your ps or xbox at bed nor to a trip. Max settings for me is not a problem (since i never owned a hi teck pc or wlextremely good monitor). For me is ideal
Love it so much. I have a good dock. Like a Switch but able to play great games like Baldurs Gate 3.

Aperture Desk Job has such a delightful voice surprise (if you like standup comedy).
The best thing about Aperture Desk Job is it’s completely voiced by comedian Nate Bargetze who is one of my favorites. He also does a great job in the game
That alone would make me play this!

- Little Nightmares 1 and 2
- Ori
- Risk of Rain 2 and Returns
- The Witcher 3
- Xcom2
- And my recent favorite Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor
The way I see it, the Steam Deck is an excellent 30fps device, and as someone who had to contend with the PS Vita as a child this is mindblowing.
It's an awesome 60fps and 40fps device.
Purchased a PC around 2 years ago, the thought of being able to play a huge list of PC games handheld, from the couch, travelling etc. As good as my PC is, I have a feeling the deck OLED is going to be the best purchase i’ve made in terms of gaming equipment, in the post as we speak and can’t wait for it to arrive.
I just finished Pyre on my deck. I think you could easily have all Supergiant's games on this list. OLED really pops with their art style. Fantastic games.

Another great game I’ve been having tons of fun on with my steam deck is Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. Runs smooth as butter and looks damn good with the OLED display.

The Steam Deck is the most solid portable handheld device on the market right now. Its not the greateest specs compared to its competitors but it is overall the best all around. Im so glad I bought one. Its great for busy ppl who cant game on console at home all the time.

Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Complete with the HD mod plays great on the Deck. Version 5 of that game is a great on the Deck too. Thanks to the Decks awesome input options.
i love how when you showed dark souls it was just getting killed and attacked over and over again lmaaaooo yup thats dark souls, especially first time around, and hell even after youve played for awhile. man gotta love dark souls
I've been playing Path of Exile on my deck ever since I got it almost a year ago, and it runs really well. It can't do 100% of endgame content like juiced T10 maps but for being able to play portably it's a blast.

Tried to play Hi-Fi Rush on Xbox and couldn't. My AV system has a delay that I never noticed. Is unplayable and they don't have an AV delay adjustment/calibration to sync image to sound like Rock Band did back in the day.
Going to try it again on the Deck.

Putting FPS game like Doom on 3rd place and not even mentioning something like Hollow Knight in the top 15 for something like steam deck feels kinda insane
these types of lists are usually subjective, they are very useful for getting different ideas.

You _could_ play Xbox Play Anywhere Games like Forza, Hades, Halo Infinite
But
Most Play Anywhere Games are limited to like 30 and Multiplayer Anyway so dont bother Bro

Get the Ally X if you’re looking for triple A titles or wait for Winter 2025 where there’s an improvement to Z1 Extreme.
Love playing platformers on my ROG Ally, just wish Gamepass had more to offer for PC players
WB is running the Dc universe into the ground. The best thing they've dropped in awhile was The batman but even then by the time it reached the end it was mediocre of a movie and way too long than it needed to be.
Ngl this video doesn't make me want to buy a steamdeck, I can play almost all of these on my PS5

The point is that it’s handheld and convenient. Not that it can play different or better games than a PS5. If you don’t care about handheld, of course you’d use your PS5
@@douglasmurdoch7247 it being handheld is really the most basic part of what it offers, paired with a dock and a wireless mouse and keyboard it's essentially the cheapest gaming PC option, I just feel like a video called "Top 15 steam deck games" should have more games that aren't simple worse versions of games that consoles have, that's the type of thing that would make me want to get the steamdeck

Had mine 4/5 days, so far I’ve not been massively impressed. 80% of what I wanted to play aren’t supported, graphics look bad on a lot of games. Battery is crap, and it’s not super friendly to people that aren’t a pc nerd. Lots of options and things you can’t do without unless you’re familiar with computers

Bruh you don't have to be a pc nerd to figure it out? I gave my lcd to my 10 year old nephew and he's had zero issues. All you need is a 5min RUclips video to get whatever you want working and most of the time it's not necessary cause 80% of the games I've played have worked perfectly. Ubisoft games I had issues running but a 5min video and the problem is fixed so it went 80% to basically 99% playable games.
A lot of helpful videos on RUclips mate. Cryobytes and Decky Loader are pretty much essential IMO.
