This project reminds me to my old house i bought last year. First i thought i only had to paint, but after the boiler started leaking badly when i was on holiday, my house was destroyed by water damage and i had to strip the whole back part of the house. It takes forever because my job takes alot of time and i can only do big stuff in the weekends, but slowly it's getting progres and i can't wait till it's finished.
Curious, Neil what do you do for work? I'm sure you've considered what it would take to make videos full time, maybe patreon or some such? Would love to hear your thoughts. Cheers from South Africa :)
I currently work at a Japanese Import business which is about an hour and a half from where we have the shed, so I live close to this place here midweek and go back to my hometown on the weekends. (ill have to do a video on this place soon) I'm mostly doing social media, photo video and web design work. It would be awesome for Juicebox to eventually become a full-time situation and be able to bring videos weekly and its something I've considered if this keeps growing as there is so much to share and I always find I never have enough time to do it. At the moment, the job I have is pretty interesting, and its a reliable source of income, the car build is heavily damaging on the pocket so it's nice to have that steady paycheck, id be worried if this became a full-time situation, id be scrambling to find enough income or worse gather enough footage, that's why we have a backlog of footage as there are weekends where nothing happens and then we could have two or three weekends of very productive work either with my car or something else . It would be cool to see where this goes over the next while and see if it's possible to take this to another level, for now, with the current circumstances, I'm just enjoying the build process and going to see how this plays out.
@@juiceboxforyoukind of a ''why not both'' idea, but that job you have could give you enough experience to start a similar business with the guys closer to the shed. that'd provider a steady-er income and probably a lot of content with all the cool parts and cars.
