Yeah, this did it for me too. My unit is a KitchenAid and KitchenAid sent me the Whirlpool part so I guess they are the same company. Great video and instructions! I recommend putting the adjuster button into its housing BEFORE connecting the housing to the metal piece so you don't have to pull it back from the rack to insert it afterwards. Other than that, Steve made this job super easy! Thank you! Whirlpool/KitchenAid should have paid Steve to do the video and included the URL in its parts packaging.

Thank you so much for this clear explanation and demonstration on how to install the new rack adjusters! Only complaint is you skipped over some of the hardest part, removing the old stuff! Luckily, I'd stumbled onto another video where the guy showed how to do that without completely busting up everything. ;) But I didn't have the exact replacement part so I didn't actually need to reuse anything, but it was nice to sort of get the feel of how the assembly worked by taking it apart step by step, before launching into the different design. Thanks again for an excellent instructional video!

Great instructions, kit attached to rack as described, no problems. Seems good quality & fit.
What that puzzled me was how to get the old kit off. Took patience and a flat head screwdriver to figure out which way the old parts slid & were most easily pried off. Perhaps that varies by manufacturer.
Kit I received comes with a torx bit with a phillips-head on the other end. Didn’t use it, but just in case you don’t have a torx driver.

You are correct it does depend on manufacturer. Most use screws but some are pry apart with plastic locking tabs, Many of those do convert to kits using screws with one type of head or another. Fortunately torx seems to be the head of choice which is great.
