Here are the #8 x 3/4" stainless screws I used: homedepot.sjv.io/n1W5M6
The roller assembly broke for my WDTA50SAHZ0 Whirlpool dishwasher top rack broke, so I made an installation guide for anyone else with the same problem. Removal of the old rack took 5 minutes, installing the new hardware took 10 minutes. All you need is a screwdriver and a pair of pliers - anyone can do this quick fix!
Oh my goodness, you are a lifesaver! I ordered the kit to repair my Kenmore dishwasher upper rack assembly, but the parts came all jumbled up loose in a box with no instructions whatsoever. And as you know, they are very different looking than the original parts. I found a video on the Sears parts website that was supposed to show you what to do, but it was useless! It went SO fast and was so small that I couldn't see or understand anything they were doing. Then I found YOUR video on youtube and followed YOUR excellent instructions and hallelujah! my dishwasher is now repaired! THANK YOU!!!!

Parts came in today, with no instructions. I was totally lost since new parts did not look like the old, broken parts. Of course, wifey says “ look for a vid on RUclips”.

I have a really dumb problem. I set this up and accidentally put them on too high. Any tips on disassembling the NEW attachments. They seem really locked in
I'm confused how you managed to install them too high - it's impossible to do so, at least for the way my dishwasher rack is designed. Does your dish rack not have a horizontal wire that locates it vertically?
As for uninstalling it, you'll need to remove both screws, then pry at the small slot to the right of the screwdriver tip at 2:14 in the video.
The newer kits seem to be shipping with stainless steel screws now, so no need to buy separately

The positioner clips 2x on each side, need to get pushed up further. There's a second 'click' that you'll hear when it's done. that way the clip sits parallel to the tines they're riding.
Are you talking about the two guides at 1:18 that slide over the stainless steel tabs? Those are seated all the way - they're up against the edge of the plastic and oriented vertically.
Yes. Those were the tabs. At first they looked loose, but later shots showed then more clearly. Mine took extra effort to get all the way in. Great video.
