Hey man love the vids I have a detailing business as well cars, trucks, boats, and RVs my question to you is what is the best way to prevent your drill brush from flinging cleaning liquid as it rotates
How’s it going bro. I bought the Aqua Pro Vac a year and a half ago for my detailing business. I watched your video and I was sold. I have had the worst experience with the Aqua Pro Vac. The first day I opened the box, my handle broke off. I disregarded it because it’s just a handle. It probably lasted me a good year. When the machine was working, it worked GREAT. As the months went on, the buttons started to go out, so I replaced them. Then the vacuum motor went out. I bought a replacement and the machine still doesn’t work like it should. I’m currently in the process of working something out with the company. It’s a great extractor when it works, but I’d recommend to go with something else. My little Green Bissel lasted longer than the Aqua Pro Vac. Just wanted to give people a heads up!
@@dinksdelarge7790 it sprays, but the trigger gets stuck. I know they have mentioned that you can take the trigger mechanism apart and just lube it up. I haven’t done that yet since I’m currently not using it
Thanks for ur advice. I have been detailing for like 6+ plus months. Started with a bidder pro and was going to get a mytee 8070 for 1000. Ur philosophy about buying for what customers you have has made me really want to get an Aqua pro and than upgrading to a mytee when I can.
I guess question I have is, when you run all your tools, vac, steamer, extractor, and compressor, that uses a lot of power. Especially with heated extractor, you will probably have to keep it running. So how big is your generator?
I got one of these when I started my business last March. I’ve gone thru 2 lids, 2 nozzles, and my last detail the sprayer feeder cracked at the tank so the vacuum lost suction. And the wheels fell off but that didn’t effect performance. I keep my equipment in a truck bed so maybe heat played a factor, but needless to say I won’t be buying another aquapro lol
I had the same bissel and personally it was a huge upgrade to the Aqua Vac pro it was better in every way except size since it’s a bit bigger compared to the compact bissel 🤣
My gram, mom, and I just ordered one today. Between my immediate family and other family members we have a lot of vehicles, furniture, carpet that we can use it on. Excited to get it and put it to use.
You are right about guys thinking they need the best products, best tools and best machines to start detailing especially as a business cause guess what, customers don’t care lol. This is something guys on RUclips with detailing channels don’t talk about maybe you can, customers expectations. As a detailer are expectations are so high and most like 90 percent of customers expectations are so low they couldn’t tell if you spray wax or did a ceramic coating on their car, the point is you don’t have to fallow all this careful steps or the “right way” on how to detail a car on a beat up 1997 Toyota Camry. As long as the customers are happy and you got paid, that’s it. Run a business not a selfish business.
@@hunterkennedy4475 that’s amazing ironically I ordered the aqua pro just this week waiting on it in the mail the bissle had gotten me through everything and I never felt like I needed to upgrade then ripped the hose being to rough lol so congratulations to you man it’ll get the job done😎
Been cleaning since July of last year. I own the bissel pro heat. Around 20 vehicles away from 100 cars total i think I might purchase this since I spend way too much time with the extractor I currently have this might be a purchase for me, thanks for the help!
I got sucked down the rabbit hole of youtube and was watching videos about the $50k truck mounts for carpet cleaning that are built around a tractor motor with 24" of vacuum and like 5000 psi of 260 degree water and hundreds of gallons of freshwater and waste.
For those to save money and have Costco nearby, just buy the dewault shopvac that’s on sale and buy an attachment that will suction the dirty water like the aquapro. The only thing is that you need to add water yourself separately in order to work.
@@Sandiego61999 a steamer is not gonna give alot of water to suck up the dirt from carpet. the steamer is only gonna loosen the dirt stuck on the carpet and also heat up the water you spray to the car interior. you can add water with a water hose nearby or a garden pump sprayer with water and cleaner solution mixture. then with the steamer and vac,you can vacuum.
it will give you great results. but in my experience, if you are thinking of going into mobile detailing business, the aqua pro or the more expensive mytee vac, is wayyyy better. its more convenient and will save you time.
MrChickenspit does the attachment have a spot for you to hook water up to it, I’m getting into mobile detailing but haven’t ever dealt with cloth seats
I don’t get a lot of costumers but I do get a lot of people interested of full details their cars would be messed up and the Manuel work was not it 🤦🏽♂️so I purchased the 800 extractor& 160 steamer hope it helps out
I cleaned a Subaru Forester with a Bissell extractor and it took two day to complete the job because I could not get all there water out of the carpet and seats. I don't have a detail business but I flip cars and time is money. I don't want to spend all day shampooing with a shitty extractor.
I'm not a professional detailer but I'm looking for an extractor (my first) To be able to do my own cars and occassionally detail some friends and neighbors cars for side money. I'd like to be able to offer this kind if cleaning service for the interior. I'd be willing to spend the money for a unit like this. For my purpose, would this one do more than the job?
Buy once, cry once. I am 54 years old with some back problems. I prefer to spend some extra money and have an easier time cleaning my car which has cloth seats. Aqua Pro Vac Extractor appears to be the thing I need but it does not look like it generates steam, only water, and suction to remove the water. What do I really need in my arsenal? A steam cleaner and a cheap shopvac to remove the water? or the pro vac with a steamer? or no steamer? I just want the stains out of the seats and the greasy gooey gunk out of the corners and grooves of the plastic parts of the car. thanks!
I'm trying to start my own car detailing business like you and I had a couple questions for ya. Do I have to have a permit to start? How do taxes work in this situation?
The wand is what speeds you up the most ?? Taking you won’t have hot water but you a little steamer.. just that part of loading and unloading at mytee extractor sucks

Update?

Exactly the same thing can be said on work trucks
Have use both the bissell has a short hose is annoying still can get the job done smaller tank and less suction orher than that is decent..
Been detailing for 4 months and just upgraded to a bissle proheat 💀💀😂😂
Same
My bissle paid for itself on its first job
Looking to buy something more professional
Is the aqua pro ok??
I started in January with a little green then got a spot clean pro about to get this one

@theory816 i made my own extractor for the first 10 cars. For $110
I think this is the best option for anyone mobile without a van.

Don't forget that the Aqua Pro Vac website will at times have refurbished units for sale.

We generated serious revenue cleaning carpet at Stanley Steamer and Coit with just small engine driven van units.

We'll keep it as backup
Do you have a video of your set up on your HHR PANEL car?
Where’s the link for the 1700 extractor that u recommend
You plan on selling that extractor now that you upgraded? Let me know lol
I have a bissell pro vac I’m planing to switch to a aqua pro vac
I made my own extractor for my first 10 cars then I bought the aqua pro.

Perfect Video ! Subscribed your channel , help us a lot . Do you have website ?
What’s the best way to clean without a extractor
Great video. I appreciate it
What about the $150 bissell. It gets amazing results
ive had 4 bissel pros and the handle breaks fairly frequently
I just bought my bissell and mine broke within its first 4 uses
Great video!
You hit all the points

Why are aqua pro vacs more expensive now? They used to be 400$ few months ago, now they’re 500$
I have no idea. They’ve been $475 for a while
I have no customers but I got a 8070 😂

I’m guess most that are starting a car detail business, don’t have permits and don’t report their earnings.
Dont need it to start but if you want to u can registered your business..
With all of the deductions, you will end up only paying self-employment tax. 15%
Here in Hawaii it's cost me an arm and a leg to ship this and other items......🤣
$175 for Puerto Rico 😩
Can you connect that $700 hose to the aqua vac ???
I think you could.. you'd probably have to do a few things before that works though

9:14 yup.. i baught that one. Fuck that shit. This was a good video, but I’m gunna stay posted on Craigslist for something used.
