Proof is in the pudding. You are SHOWING results that are great! No real need to spend $1K on an extractor, unless you can totally afford it. My process is steam(loosen the grime), spray cleaner, steam again, extract. I always get great results.
For those who are saying, " You NEED a hot water one" would simply be wrong. I've used extractors both with hot water and not, and results are just about the same. If you have a steamer (which most of us have if we do detail) just use the steamer as your hot water source. Again if you detail, on most cases your steamer is already fired up for an interior. Just my opinion, rock on as usual Oscar
I appreciate you man! This inspired me to purchase one for myself. I have used the McCullough steamer. Yes results are the same. It just depends on how you clean. But its an art for sure and the customers shocked eyes are happiness are priceless. Thanks keep up the good! Hope to collabo one day!
I played with the Little Green in a store once and it felt too fragile for heavy use. I have the Aqua Pro Extractor and the build quality is night and day.
People just love to voice their opinions even though everyone has a different way of doing things and what works for them, they want it to be done their way 🤷🏻♀️ love your videos!
So satisfying, looks great!, I'm wanting an extractor. I use a crappy little bissel that has barely any suction. I might look into this as an investment!
Angelica Isabelle wow you’re beautiful 😍 & I use Hoover spot & stainer portable remover. Works great downside is it’s really small having to dump the dirty water & add water many times.
Im just getting into detailing on the side. I love doing it. I just came across a truck that i cleaned yesterday and this would of been a great tool to have! The seats were covered in stains and mold but i used Meguires upholstery cleaner and it worked great!
A horse can be used as a means of transportation and a car can be used as a means of transportation. They both do the job and get you from Point A to Point B, but one is much more efficient than the other. When it comes to business, it's about efficiency. What can I do as a business owner to cut down on the amount of effort, but achieve premium quality. A hot water extractor would have cleaned the seats faster and with less effort. Gear matters. Any business owner who makes an excuse not to invest in better equipment, don't deserve to be in business. Spend the money, it's an investment that'll pay for itself.
As someone who used to work in retail and unboxed a couple hundred monitors in my life: to unbox large items packed with foam inserts: cut open the top (or bottom) of the box, turn the flaps outward, and lift the box off the item.
Just an average car owner. Would you ever make a video showing is regular people how to best clean their car? I have tan fabric seats and they stain with just water. It’s an older car so not looking to spend a lot to clean and I have two kids. Thanks! BTW I love to watch your videos. Love to see the dirty cars become clean.
I just got my aqua pro and got an appointment set up for tomorrow for interior work and excited to use this equipment suction is pretty great man. Orale Vato lol
This looks kinda promising but a bit on the delicate side. Can we all just agree that Ridgid seriously needs to make a portable extractor inspired by the 4gal wet/dry vac?
Detail Groove Right!? Thanks for getting in depth on the video. Never understood how people ask a detailer to stop going so in depth. It's never a waste of time man.
My Bissell spot cleaner which I used for a few jobs just started sparking and almost caught on fire. I bought it remanufactured fr $50. I need a new Extractor, but not sure I want to spend $400. If this was like $250 I'd buy it right now I got the mc1385 based on your review and used it for 2 jobs already. I love it! Just hope it lasts me more than a few jobs.
Hello, i'm a romanian living in Austria, in my country (Romania) you get the best for the money you pay, because people really care about their money there, as a minimum wage is around 300 Euros.. I just paid 50 Euros there for a full interior detailing, they removed the seats and every removable thing like the sunshields and others.. i got a bang for the buck, as you say it. I used to work for some romanians here when i arrived, they were selling cars and i was the guy "detailing" them.. interior cleanings, but not washing the carpets or seats, i was only using a normal vacuum cleaner, like a house vacuum cleaner, and sometimes exterior "polishing???" waxing, i belive you call it... Now i'm looking forward to go on my own, here in Austria are alot of "workshops" doing this, but all of them are doing it just to do it, it's way overpriced (compare to how much i paid in Romania) and their services are way under "decent"... maybe someone can point me in the right direction? How should i start? I don't own a garage, i'm looking forward to rent one.. should i start as a "roamer"? Should i market my services as "i'm coming to you"? I might sound funny, but english is like my 4th language, any advice is highly appreciated, thank you for your time! Oh, so you don't missunderstand, 1 EUR = 1,16 USD
Yeah, it sounds like you're in a different market then we are here in the US. With that being said, I always recommend you start mobile and go to poeples locations to service their vehicle
What would you say is your favorite today in 2022? I loved the Mytee seems lot of people are having problems with them. But I love me hot water extraction to deep clean. This one looks good too.
Man, at $400 - this is just above what I would consider a "splurge" purchase for a non professional "hobbyist" detailer. I detail a fair amount of cars and need an extractor, but $400 is just out of my price range. I keep hoping that someone will release a cheaper China made basic extractor for $200 or so, I would totally buy one at that price.
Hi oscar. I hope you can read and answer my question. Do you use something special to make the car smell good ? Is there anything to put on so it can smell good after clean it ? Thank you.

I use a Ridgid WD1851 shop vac because it has 203 cfm of suction this machine in the video kicks out 60 to 100 cfm max. I pre-spray then scrub the interior of cloth cars and or carpet with a spin brush drill attachment followed by my diy extractor interior is dry within in an hour or two .

I use a portable rug doctor that works great, there is no heating system, but it very affordable around 60-100 $$$. I know Wilson auto detailing uses one and it has a self agitating brush.
Thanks for making the video , I’ve been critical of the cost of extractors first years. I always thought they were way to expensive. But after seeing everyone saying how good this is I’m probably gonna get one now. So my question is if you had it like that. Would you pick this or the Mytee s300H ? I mean I do a decently enough job with my setup I think. But I’ll admit this is better than what I got now. So yeah let me know your thoughts.
I’m not sure if you mentioned it or not, but do you use any sort of cleaner solution in your extractor or just water? I just got a basic carpet extractor and it came with cleaners and I was unsure if the cleaners would be useful for cleaning car seats and carpets.
Looks good to me probably I will buy it. I used on the 100% of jobs the mculloch 1385 and works great the problem is when a work is insane it's hard because a have to I used the steamer and the vac. just a question what kind of shampoo you iused for that machine?. God bless you brother your work is great
Hey! Been trying to find a video detailing this topic, how do you accept customer payment? Do you take cash or do you have a little Squaretrade reader set up? Or do you utilize things like Paypal, facebook pay, etc. My steamer/extractor setup right now is a vacuum that sucks up all of the dirty water after I scrub and clean... so.. not really a steamer LMAO might look into this thing.
I accept cash or card (checks only from repeat customers). I use Square for credit cards. I have a few customers that have Chase as their bank (as do I) and we use Chase Quick Pay. If someone needs to pay via online invoice, I'll create one in Square. I have yet to use PayPal, FB Pay, or any other apps like Venmo.
Diego Roman You can get atn extractor at any point that you want, as long as you have the money for it. You don’t necessarily need one but it is helpful to have one for really Dirty carpet and seats but if you don’t have much money in your pockets just like me I would recommend to get the rug doctor I’m about to order one for myself
I started off with just a few brushes and towels and got amazing results working on super dirty interiors. I slowly worked my way up. This machine is super helpful, but if you can't afford it, don't worry about it. Wait 2 months
they really should also have a stronger attachment also available..even just better or thicker plastic would be fine. i have a cheap bissell and broke its plastic handle by pushing to hard...
Yeah, I don't use it all the time. Mostly on whitish/brownish fabric. You can go to a local janitorial/carpet cleaning supply store and pick up quality fiber rinse products. Better to take a high powered nozzle and blast the dirt out of the mats, then use the extractor to suck out the water. Been doing this for years with no negative effects on the mats.
Detail Groove Is the clear nozzle attachment on the extractor vented at all? Like does it have a couple of small holes that allow it to breathe while vacuuming up the water?
Hi I did interior shampoo at some shop and it is not dryed yet and I passed a wet/dry vacuum and it sucked a soaped water is that normal that it still a soap on carpet or the job was done incorrectly?
Detail Groove - you sparked my interest in buying one of these extractors. However it seems there are not the best reviews on Amazon. I assume you would still recommend this extractor? I have a Bissell, but its absolutely crap but I dont want to spend money on a 1,000$ Mytee!
Yep- still recommend. I've used it now on 20 interiors. I'm happy with the results. It's not the best thing on the market- but for the price/size, I'll take it
@@DetailGroove why would you say its not the best thing? Is because you want better suction from the fabric you cleans or? Like to know your professional view point.
Just a quick help for you and anyone , I usto do carpet cleaning the biggest issue with them people expect miracles , I operated a ashbys ninja with over 400psi and they still wouldn't pick up half the dirt, it's mainly the products, agitation and if possible steam over the area . Id recommend this or a. Wesley carpet cleaner . The reviews are Terrible but IV had mine for 3-4 years I replaced a few bits but been so so cheap and paid for itself time and time again!
How about the noise? Is it loud? I have the durmaid 1800 hot water extractor but it is to loud i do most of my detail in a apartment complex and i think is to loud and i don't like to disturb the people arround
Proof is in the pudding. You are SHOWING results that are great! No real need to spend $1K on an extractor, unless you can totally afford it. My process is steam(loosen the grime), spray cleaner, steam again, extract. I always get great results.

I use my bissell little green & been amazed what I’ve done, I did detailing as a business and not once did I get a complaint
I have a little green too for the price it was worth it.
Thanks! I will look into it now lol.
I played with the Little Green in a store once and it felt too fragile for heavy use. I have the Aqua Pro Extractor and the build quality is night and day.

When do I stop using the water on the extractor? I usually do one wet pass then one dry pass. But if it’s still dirty, do I use the same pattern ? Thanks
Ehh, I don't really have a formula. I just do two passes if it's needed at a minimum
Can you tell me what you sprayed as a rinse to the carpet. You mentioned something about the PH? I would love to know and learn more please.
At this point, I only use water in the extractor now

What do you mean by local options? You can use those exact options anywhere. Don't get too stuck on this
Hey Oscar love your videos you said 400 dollars but when i click the link it's 475
The prices have increased since making the video

@@DetailGroove oh ok thanks man
Hey I just buy a extractor what chemicals would you say to buy to mix with hot water
Your the man keep up the good work
Yo bro at what point do you get this I'm just getting started
Diego Roman You can get atn extractor at any point that you want, as long as you have the money for it. You don’t necessarily need one but it is helpful to have one for really Dirty carpet and seats but if you don’t have much money in your pockets just like me I would recommend to get the rug doctor I’m about to order one for myself
I started off with just a few brushes and towels and got amazing results working on super dirty interiors. I slowly worked my way up. This machine is super helpful, but if you can't afford it, don't worry about it. Wait 2 months
Jose Rodriguez hey bro, how’s the rug doctor working out for you?
yestallbobo Honestly, so far it’s been working good for me It does its job! I could email you some photos if you’d like to see what I did with it.
Jose Rodriguez chucktayauto(at)gmail
Those seats were disgustingly dirty.
Just burn the damn things.
cool
crazy how much dirt there was on them seats
“cool”
sksksksks
they really should also have a stronger attachment also available..even just better or thicker plastic would be fine. i have a cheap bissell and broke its plastic handle by pushing to hard...
You mentioned something about a carpet fiber rinse. What do you use and where do you get it?
qube76 was wondering the same thing. Have watched all the interior videos and first time I've heard it being used.
Yeah, I don't use it all the time. Mostly on whitish/brownish fabric. You can go to a local janitorial/carpet cleaning supply store and pick up quality fiber rinse products. Two house-hold names for carpet cleaning are Chemspec and Prochem:
- www.sun-beltusa.com/all-fiber-textile-rinse.html
I buy mine locally, these are just quick links to show you what they are
I busted out laughing when he chased it down the driveway hahaha
Just from ur video ima go buy a aqua vac when they restock great video
It's a great product Wesly
Could u plz tell me thats how to fix water problem if it didn't work it's not coming
Hey bro, where did you get the upholstery brush? I've been looking at it only comes with the polish brush.
I just reviewed all the interior products I have: ruclips.net/video/kTGmiz24ftY/видео.html
That's a great machine, What's the horse power on it?
That I'm not entirely sure
Hello what carpet solution you use
Better to take a high powered nozzle and blast the dirt out of the mats, then use the extractor to suck out the water. Been doing this for years with no negative effects on the mats.
Great video Oscar !
Thanks Ezeke !
Would the suction be comparable to Rigid vac?
Ahh- that I can't tell you as I'm not entirely sure on that Rigid vacuum
Detail Groove the WD4070
I'm not entirely sure- but it is a strong vacuum on the extractor
Detail Groove
Is the clear nozzle attachment on the extractor vented at all? Like does it have a couple of small holes that allow it to breathe while vacuuming up the water?
Hi
I did interior shampoo at some shop and it is not dryed yet and I passed a wet/dry vacuum and it sucked a soaped water is that normal that it still a soap on carpet or the job was done incorrectly?
Great Video! Thank you for what you do!
You bet Javier
Detail Groove - you sparked my interest in buying one of these extractors. However it seems there are not the best reviews on Amazon. I assume you would still recommend this extractor? I have a Bissell, but its absolutely crap but I dont want to spend money on a 1,000$ Mytee!
Yep- still recommend. I've used it now on 20 interiors. I'm happy with the results. It's not the best thing on the market- but for the price/size, I'll take it
Detail Groove perfect! I am a weekend warrior and I think this will work for my needs!
It sure will :)
What soap do you put in your extractor?
We just use water
How about the noise? Is it loud? I have the durmaid 1800 hot water extractor but it is to loud i do most of my detail in a apartment complex and i think is to loud and i don't like to disturb the people arround
What fiber rinse are you using?
I buy mine locally. Go to your local janitorial/carpet cleaning supply store and ask for help about that
What is that red machine thats in the floor?
Griot's Garage 6" polisher
Great video. Thanks again.
You're welcome Cecil :)
What its the name of pre spray "super clean"?
