next time take all the seats out and clean under them, my ocd was bothered by the dirt left under the seats...you did a good job tho....another question...20 years and no cleaning seriously? ewww
I detailed a nasty car a while back using your same method but I forgot what was used. Thank you for refreshing my memory. We bought a used car with nasty carpet, and I had to search this method. Ty for sharing
Get a brush-head drill attachment for agitating after you spray to get deeper into the fibers, and one of those insecticide pump sprayers gets better/faster saturation and saves your hands. You might need a different cleaning solution as well. Stauffer Garage has done videos of carpet/seats even worse than this and got them looking great again if you want to check out his methods and cleaners.
Pro tip: Next time when you wanna just scrub it after you spray it, don't scrub it with the machine on because it will suck it up before you want it to.
Why do they even make car floors with carpet anyway? They just get nasty and harbor smells and they're a pain in the butt to clean. I'm gunna be rich when I invent a nice car flooring that's not carpet.
Emily Leetch do it! Lol i’d totally buy it & pay for it to be professionally installed Bc honestly my car doesn’t have any stains or food or drink spilled in it at all but it still gets that closed up smell from your feet wetting the carpet from the rain & then drying over & over again.. just smells a little closed in - if that makes sense. I don’t eat or drink in it so that def helps but carpet in a car is still weird. I want some of those weathertech mats.
So if you have to put a number to it... what percentage improvement would you say? 80%... 90%... 99%... haha Purchase these products to be able to do this yourself... Super Clean Degreaser: amzn.to/2HTYTR0 Carpet Brush: amzn.to/2UpXyXJ Bissell Hot Water Extractor: amzn.to/2K0OrsI And to those ASMR folks. I did not speed up the extraction part of the really bad area. Jump to 2:02 and 8:11 😀... a full 20 minute video will be coming of PURE WATER EXTRACTION NORMAL SPEED. Stay tuned.
Do you have any suggestions if I don't have a hot water extractor? I do have a wet and dry shop vac. I will try to rent an extractor but if I don't find one, what would you suggest?
Yes like Magnekjo said... Sweet Project Cars has a video without a hot water extractor he just uses a shop vac. He makes up a cleaning mixture of like bleach, ammonia windex, Ajax for smell, and rubbing alcohol and maybe something else. He then puts it in a bottle then pours it on the stains and agitates while literally filling up the area with water from a hose then vacuums it all up with a wet vac.
I don’t drive this car and I’m about to scrap it. I just closed the doors right away and haven’t opened them I don’t think since this video. But.... when I cleaned my 7 seater SUV and 5 seater SUV I let them sit over night and one time I put a space heater in to help with the moisture while the windows were cracked.
You know what. This not my mom's car. After watching this video. I saw more dirt than usual. NVM I actually thought this was my mom's car coz the first time you upload it was around the same week when my mom sold it.
Kylie Kaykay lol not all southerners sound country lol especially New Orleanians 😂😂 some parts of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi & a few parts in Texas sound super country to me, but I’ve found that Louisiana is mostly a mix of heavy, light & intermittent Cajun French and.... well.... “Yat” lol like me! 🥰🤗 I’ve heard ppl from all around the world visiting here say we sound like a mix of 2 different northern states - I don’t remember which 2 tho but I think it was Brooklyn & New Jersey, don’t quote me on that tho - like I said, I really dont remember which. I just remembered being as surprised by that, as they were by how not country we sound down here for being a very southern state. 🤷♀️
9 hours later I'm still detailing the front of my car! It was dirty but not like dirty dirty! I like using a handheld steamer it gets into the nooks and crannies! Tomorrow's another day! ✌🏼🚐🍷🍷
it bothers me how fast you go with the extractor
Arthur Read damn i’ve never seen someone get mad about something like this lmfao r u ok
Andrew Harris they’re used at the same time. it’s the purpose of the brush underneath.
Arthur Read y would u want u to subscribe to me lol
Arthur Read also, if i am the judge, i can clearly see you are not okay. Call up

Oxy clean,Ajax soap and rubbing alcohol, and water mixed in a spray bottle works a lot better on tough stains
I too, saw that episode of sweet project cars lol
Worked best out of all of them.
Nice, here’s a tip, use ur wet vac (if you have one) after you extract and it gets extra moisture out
Did you remove the seats? Or do any cleaning under the seats?
Did this on my 23 year old corolla. It’s a hand me down and my first car. Removed the seats and it made getting everything clean a lot easier!

As soon as you started listing stuff, I knew what channel you were going to name
I love to go deeper🌽👍

Your a little late 😂 you can replaced your carpet floors with a rubber Matt or rhino line it.
P.s they do carpet for comfort
@@texasmonster1668 I meant right outta the factory. No carpet as an option at the dealer ship
not sure if you have ever been in a truck before but half the work trucks you see on the road probably have vinyl flooring in them lol
I appreciate you posting this, it’s really motivating for me to make better carpet cleaning videos , I subscribed thanks
Same vacuum i can use for the seat. I have similar car seat but in light brown ish. Thanks
Did you use straight cleaner or was it diluted with water? Just curious!
There was a dilution to it. Either 4 to 1 or 5 to 1
I had a Lumina for my first car in high school, and my carpets in my car never looked this good!

You could always spray APC, agitate then wipe it off with a damp microfiber towel. Its more labour, but it works.

diver dave lol don't actually mix bleach and ammonia together....unless you wanna grow wiskers outa your face
Brian Walker save your time and $$ hire a professional man.
Where to buy the purple thingy bottle that you spray. Whats the name of the cleaner. And the vacuum.
Link in the description to cleaner (Super Clean Degreaser) and the vacuum (Bissell Spot Clean Pro Heat)
Carpet still looks good considering the age.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Interesting. THANKS for your sharing and demonstration.
How long did you wait for the car to fully dry?

AutOdometer thank you 👌🏽
Wouldn’t it have been easier to pull the carpet and pressure wash it?
Can’t tell if it’s the lighting or if you missed the fronts and backs of the seats? Big change on the carpet!
Satisfying 😋
My Green Nest very!
Use some tsp on the driver side floor board tri / sodium / phosphate
Mine can be done in this case
Stains will reappear if you saturate to much
Rlly?
Those car sears are cleaned?!
Watch the video
What's the horse power on your vacuum?
so satisfied 5:35
New carpet or scrap the car😂
Autodometer just to be sure . Where did you buy the car. I been curious for the past 3 months
Bought it in 2009 from a friend senior year in high school. He bought it from an older couple. In Maryland
@@AutOdometer ok thank you I was worried there
Pull it out and pressure wash it! This guy must have all the time in the world..
Next time spend 300 and buy new and put in

I’ve never heard of a car being 22years😆
Are u southern ?
No, why do you ask?
AutOdometer you sound really country

Your video might be believable if the vehicle you were finished with was the one you started with.
It was...
Your really good at cleaning but out of curiosity why did it take you 22 years to clean your ride? Not trying to be dick here lol
Cause he’s lazy lol simple as that
This is by far the worst. Not even that satisfying....
You are terble detailer no idea about this dramat....
