If you think you have blood stain, go buy contact saline solution. Apply saline to the blood and dab it with an old towel. Then clean with cold water and hydrogen peroxide or oxyclean. Do regular carpet cleaning after that. I would follow up with Scotch Guard and Febreze fabric spray.
Don't waste your time on car cleaning products for carpets. You're already at a disadvantage using a wet dry vac to extract. Go to a janitorial supply house and get chemicals dedicated to getting out red stains and another for brown/yellow stains.

Looked like a completely different car. Now, about 2 year later, it looks about the same as it used to, thanks kid...
Blue Dawn dish soap and rubbing alcohol works real well at removing stains. Also, the bright pink stain looks like it could be nail polish. You did a great job. It looks so much better.

@@Teckno77 You can always test some on an inconspicuous spot first. It should not fade the color of fabric. I have used Hydrogen Peroxide to remove stains from dress shirts. @@moldingpro7208 Right ok so like you would use to dye hair etc, always thought it would be too strong. I can't really scrub my seats hard as fabric is very thin and easily tears so that may be an option. Thanks appreciated.

So I stumbled upon this video a couple day ago, down a carpet cleaning rabbit hole. I have since watched every single Tahiti the Tahoe video, some a couple times. Even the mechanical episodes. In a strange turn of events that I never ever could’ve predicted, I am emotionally invested in a car that I don’t own, it’s care and it’s wellbeing. I just find these so compelling and educational. It made me detail my car, which is not something I have ever done willingly before. Please keep posting Tahiti vids! Thanks!
This car looks almost factory fresh. I saw this video in February when it was first out but I couldn't help watching it again in December. This was a really spectacular job. You did a first-rate professional cleaning. Unless I saw this car in the "before" mode I would not believe you brought this car back to new. BRAVO!
“Today I’ll be ‘detailing’ a 2019 Porsche 911, the owner said when it came off the lot it had a light layer of dust on it, let’s just say he is not happy...” Hats off to you, you’re a real detailer.
6:14 I think soaking the stains and dirt first with your soap/detergent and letting it sit for 5-10 minutes can be a nice way to loosen up the stain/dirt so that you won’t have to go over the same spot over and over, wasting time and product. You can soak it not by spraying, but by pressing the foam in with the sponge (just slapping the sponge on one spot and pressing on it) to make sure it really gets in there) You can also use medical alcohol while soaking it to kill the bacteria and lift the stain, as well as when you’re 100% done just to remove chemical smells and stinks and make sure there is no toxic bacteria crawling around)
18:46 how discouraging was it after spending days cleaning that carpet and you only got to take out about 50% of stains? People need to understand that they can’t wait 10+ years to get their vehicles properly detailed
Lay a white towel over the blood stain and saturate with peroxide. It will bubble up and be soaked up into the towel. Works on urine too. I used this method to get pet stains out of my house carpet.

Tammy Rosenwald that’s not a shootout. With how many stains are in there and they’re mostly in the back that’s like a drug deal in the car gone wrong and stuffed in the back
With the glass and everything present a shootout still wouldn’t be likely due to the position of stains. Unless someone was shot and killed in the backseat from outside the window and the driver stepped on the gas and flung the body around in the back seat to the point of most of the blood being in front of the backseat on the floor (not the bench in the very back) but that still wouldn’t explain the position of the first stain that was cleaned which looked like it came from an upward angle.
I do interiors clean and one thing you have to know is wend you throw soda like coca cola Cafe and stays there more than 1 weak it's almost impossible to get take it off . Good work God bless you
Looks good. I just learned that if you actually have the shop vac, don't be afraid to add more water after scrubbing the cleaner in. Vacuum soon after putting more water down, and this prevents the dirt from going back into the carpet and thus you can do it with 2 or 3 passes v. 6 to 10 passes.
I work at GMC & Buick dealership and man I felt your pain, Yukons are always the worst and typically I always have to give the carpet a super clean with the extractor
A steamer with a long hose worked awesome on my van headliner. Just wrap a microfiber towel over the end of the upholstery tool, working small areas at a time, constantly moving. You don't want to let it sit on an area, you'll damage the headliner/ adhesive. Have lots of microfiber towels handy, as you'll need to constantly change to a clean area of the towel. Blot and gently rub finished areas immediately. I had zero experience with this method, and got amazing results!
I bought a 2002 Suburban Z71 a couple years ago that was equally as nasty as this one was and it also smelled horrible. It looked like a team of mules and a couple dogs had been living in it. I took all the seats out and sat them in the sun for a couple days while I detailed the interior. I also removed the carpet and took it to a car wash and PRESTO, it came completely clean and letting it sit in the sun for a couple days helped to totally eliminate the smell. You did a great job with that carpet cleaner you got from Lowes. I use that same one on our X5 BMW when we get a spot from time to time. Love the Chevrolet content. Keep it up!
My parents have the exact same Suburban. Its the granny mobile and i though it was nasty when i cleaned it last year. Thats on a whole nother level! Good work!
I’ve got carpet coming today for my Yukon. I saved myself work cleaning but will be cutting to fit instead. I got a 01 Yukon for $1500. Carpet was the only thing that really needs done. Bunch of small things. 230,000 miles. It was made here and lives here by Arlington,Tx GM plant.
Your video is really helpful, I have the exact same issue in my Tahoe with milky oil, rusty water, and just nasty stains that I’m about to try to clean.
If you want an even more effective cleaner, it’s called La’s Totally Awesome Cleaner you can pick it up at a dollar tree or some other dollar store for a dollar a gallon. It will cut your time in half and is extremely effective.
If you would like some pictures I detailed and Audi A3 which was one of the worst cars I’ve ever seen, salt deposits, mud, stains, everything you could imagine, I can shoot ya an email or something with some pictures
BOY, , I sure needed to see this video. My best man of 40 yrs ago passed away and I was lucky enough to take possession of his trashed 96 Suburban. The carpet is "KID DESTROYED" I did buy a new McCulloch Steam cleaner a while ago so it might really help.. Wish I had a wet/dry vac though.. The right chemicals will help a ton..Thx for all the great info... :)
I am viewing this in 2024. I have purchased a 2004 Tahoe with the carpet in similar condition. This video has helped convince me to just replace the rug. I don't have any cleaning equipment or chems that are capable of this level of deep extraction. And a new rug is cheaper.
First, now I want to clean my car... weird feeling, second you need to let the cleaner sit for longer. The stains are probably cola / ketchup / nosebleeds, the blood comes out with peroxide :-)
I’ve always found it best to pull the carpets from the car completely and soak it down with purple power and hang it up then pressure wash the crap out of it until the stains are gone and all the dripping water runs clean... best method I’ve found and I use it on every vehicle I’ve ever bought used
Pretty sure the ones that won’t come out are rust stains from the seat rails etc...happens in most cars that are several years old...I’ve cleaned carpet a few times that had this issue...I think “wink” the brand makes a rust stain remover that can be used on carpets...but probably still not gonna come out 100%
I recently did a Tahoe that was identical to this vehicle. I used a brush that you attach to a drill though, much faster. I also used an air pumped sprayer instead of trigger sprayer
I done this on a Tahoe I had back in high school I took the carpet completely out, hung up pressure washed and scrubbed, let sun and air dry than dyed it back to original color it came out like new. Took a weekend total job but worth so so worth it, when I was done
For anyone asking about the luminol test, that video went up a few weeks ago! Link to it is the first one in the description🤟

Keep it up!
The carpet looks like a lawn with those stripes lol
Not my country lawn
My lawn looks like a minefield thanls to my chickens
My parents have the exact same Suburban. Its the granny mobile and i though it was nasty when i cleaned it last year. Thats on a whole nother level! Good work!
Its a Tahoe
@@finnlohf5780 yep...understand that. Same color exterior and interior but a little more room for activities
I’m about to bring my car to you. Lol. Such attention to detail, you’re the best!
This is normal. I see 2 a week like this booked in for detailing.
Usually they are described as 'Its my pride and joy' or 'Its a little dusty.'
We need to get Matt to 100k it’s been a long time coming for this man
When a carpet is that dirty you have to pull it and pressure wash it..Simple..Been doing it my whole life and results are amazing..
I would of if it was warmer out.
Honestly this is the norm for most of these Tahoes and Yukons and stuff hell even the Escalades.....
i didn't know viscera cleanup detail came out in VR. Very cool!
You must have mowed lawns before you started cleaning cars😂 you were stripping that carpet like you would for a lawn
Striping, not stripping
I’ve got carpet coming today for my Yukon. I saved myself work cleaning but will be cutting to fit instead. I got a 01 Yukon for $1500. Carpet was the only thing that really needs done. Bunch of small things. 230,000 miles. It was made here and lives here by Arlington,Tx GM plant.
He really exceeds the name, Extreme Detailing. So satisfying.
Broken window.. blood stains hmmmm
Lycun K1 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Has anyone seen his wife,lately?
Broken glass, mysterious reddish brown stains that keep rising to the surface....sounds like a gunshot victim to me.
Im late but you should cover the plate of your car you never know man
Your video is really helpful, I have the exact same issue in my Tahoe with milky oil, rusty water, and just nasty stains that I’m about to try to clean.
If you want an even more effective cleaner, it’s called La’s Totally Awesome Cleaner you can pick it up at a dollar tree or some other dollar store for a dollar a gallon. It will cut your time in half and is extremely effective.
Everyone keeps telling me about this dollar tree cleaner. I have to check it out!
If you would like some pictures I detailed and Audi A3 which was one of the worst cars I’ve ever seen, salt deposits, mud, stains, everything you could imagine, I can shoot ya an email or something with some pictures
As a parent of two children, I found this video very satisfying lol.
So much dried soda in those carpets you could rehydrate it and open up a soda shop.
He did but then he spilled it on the concrete
And a new rug is cheaper.
gun shots, broken glass blood everywhere back seats
Pull the carpet and pressure wash it. It's the only way. All that soap residue left behind is going to attract dirt and feel oily in 2 days.
Brian Rogge I go over carpets again with a rinse of water and then wet/dry vac them to suck the water away
glass and blood, it was a shootout
i appreciate you for putting the alternating lines in the carpet. so satisfying
The tiny shoe was my favorite part. Melted my heart.
First, now I want to clean my car... weird feeling, second you need to let the cleaner sit for longer. The stains are probably cola / ketchup / nosebleeds, the blood comes out with peroxide :-)
I wouldn't say nosebleeds, I'd say more of a death
My wife thought ray Romano was talking lol
He does kind of sound like him at some points.
Steve Nokats I scrolled down until I found someone who thought that too lol
A drill brush would've helped a lot just a tip for future cleanings
I’ve always found it best to pull the carpets from the car completely and soak it down with purple power and hang it up then pressure wash the crap out of it until the stains are gone and all the dripping water runs clean... best method I’ve found and I use it on every vehicle I’ve ever bought used
You put love into your work. I love it. I don't know why or how I ended up here, but I watched this video from beginning to end and regret nothing.
LOL..the prehistoric French fried made my day!..for the stains, maybe a steam cleaner? amazon sells one that lift just about anything.
Pretty sure the ones that won’t come out are rust stains from the seat rails etc...happens in most cars that are several years old...I’ve cleaned carpet a few times that had this issue...I think “wink” the brand makes a rust stain remover that can be used on carpets...but probably still not gonna come out 100%
You should have saved that “prehistoric French fry” for an asmr crunching video
I recently did a Tahoe that was identical to this vehicle. I used a brush that you attach to a drill though, much faster. I also used an air pumped sprayer instead of trigger sprayer
I done this on a Tahoe I had back in high school I took the carpet completely out, hung up pressure washed and scrubbed, let sun and air dry than dyed it back to original color it came out like new. Took a weekend total job but worth so so worth it, when I was done
are you Ray Romano? does Debra know your doing this ?
Damn I read this halfway through and cannot go back now hahaha
Luke Brooker lMaO I’m dead
