I just wanted to say that I really appreciate the fact that you take your business seriously, are concerned with doing things the right way and in helping others do the same. Too many people these days undervalue those who choose cleaning/maintenance/manual labor. It's honest work, you get the immediate gratification of seeing a job well done and, looking at the state of this car before you started on it, obviously a valuable service. Good on you. If I were your mom, I would be very proud to have a son who focuses on doing his best, whatever the task. Cheers.
This is one of the only positive comments I can agree with. I know the owner is being kind and considerate of his clients I can't entirely be that way with them, perhaps I'd charge for a prep package to stay on top of the mess, but honestly without him and others like him this disgusting immoral society called capitalism would fall apart under it's own weight.
In my experience, sometimes it’s easier to let your car get that way when it doesn’t hold a lot of value to you. My first car, I babied until a lot of mechanical problems got out of hand and I knew that I wouldn’t be keeping the car for much longer. Also I have a husky that I’d drive around a lot.. I have a new vehicle now that I plan on taking care of really well. But some of these cars are really new, it’s pretty disgusting. It’s as easy as keeping a bag in your car for trash and tossing it every time you buy gas. Some people don’t care.
Jackie Johnson honestly, that makes sense to me because I never let my Kia Soul get dirty but after I lost it and got my new car, I don’t care. I hate my new car, but didn’t have a choice with it, and it gets pretty gross before I clean it out
This was therapeutic to watch. I always wondered how you guys did this. Never thought it took this long and how much effort goes into it so now it helped me understand why it cost what it does. Now I can get my car detailed and not complain about the price anymore. Great video ☺️
To a point, alot of detailers like to overcharge where im from, the job that was done was pretty good but i disagree with the time it took, compared to most of the jobs I've done as detailer
Many new prospects think like this young lady...Once I learned my job is not to compete with the car washes & selling myself as an auto detailing business, my check average went from $40 check avg to $100+ check avg. This took awhile but now I have more repeat clients & get great referrals too.
Idk man....it did come out great dont get me wrong, but hearing you say "I'm not going for perfection, im only going for way better..." that's not something I would wanna hear from someone in hiring as a detailer....i respect the end result but not the business mindset
And as a barber, I would NEVER tell a client "I'm not going for perfection, just cleaner that what it is now"...I'm sure the client would immediately be uneasy in wanting me to cut their hair.
SFWillis52 I think the job was a standard cleaning/stain removal. I think the quality/features of the detail depends on the the service you pay for. Like paying to get your your car washed vs asking for a wash, scratch removal, and a wax polish/finish.
@@SFWillis52 he also says pretty much it's not necessary to put more effort in once you pass the minimum threshold they'll accept... what happened to customer service sadly. It's about saving their time, not much more. No hate to him meant at all.. minimum standard seems to be widespread and accepted. I thought professionals were there and paid to do what we cant.
And this is coming from somone who is extremely OCD about cleanliness but I understand some people are different & experience set backs. But i was wondering what that purple spray was in the clear spray bottle it looks just like a cleaner that i make from lavender fabuloso. Lol
From a mom who is a fulltime science major with two kids, who got two hours of sleep last night, and lives 5 hours of the day in her car... Thank you for not judging us! For some of us its all we can do to just pick the fast food bags off the floor and pull the juice cups.
So glad to see you're not a judgmental prick, defending this woman to people calling her names. Good job! People just don't get that when you have limited money, kids, so much to do cleaning the car falls pretty far down the priority list! Some people don't have all the time in the world to keep their car pristine! My car is in pretty bad shape at the moment because I accidentally left my windows down during a storm, you can imagine the carpets got pretty disgusting. I've got it back to about 75% but still have more to go, but with kids and a life it can't all be done at once! So I'm very glad you're not here calling this poor woman a slob or whatever. Very professional, good business!
Detail Groove thanks for the reply, I am in Australia and it was cyclone Debbie I think, although in Queensland, Australia its storm season at the moment (spring and summer) so we have a good storm every other week. Super boiling hot and sunny one moment and literally 30 minutes later pouring down rain and wind and trees being knocked down aha Australian weather is all over the place! But yes thank you for the reply and I say again thank you for being such a genuine un- judgmental person!
I totally missed your comment Emmie- sorry about that! I'm in Houston and we went through on the of the worse floodings in US history- which was caused from hurricane Harvey
There is a difference between a pristine car and to vacuum and clean the car on the regular which should not take longer then 10 - 15 minutes maximum for a week or even a month, depends. This car is just filthy and the owner just seemed to be lazy to clean it. Completely different story if she bought the car in this condition.

This is one of the best interior detailing videos i've seen in quite a while. You really know how to EFFECTIVELY clean an interior and your experience truly shows here. And that McCullough Steamer seems to be worth it's weight in GOLD when it comes to interior detailing. For $199, that has to be one of the best deals on a steamer of that quality there is right now. Steam seems to be one of the most effective cleaner's both by itself and coupled with a all purpose cleaner there is. Thanks for sharing all your experience with the masses out here in the world. I like your style, and honesty.
because his presentation skills are…unpolished. Repeating himself many times on how how hot the sun is, how long it is going to take, how dirty (but not really) the car is. First tip (it was a good one) was to ask about an electrical outlet, at around 6 minutes. first technique demonstrated at ~8:30. Those of us who watch these videos to learn things get impatient. There is no doubt he is passionate and devoted and knows his craft. in contrast, when you watch a Pan the Organizer, AmmoNYC, or Chicago Auto Pros vid, you. get overwhelmed with info by the 6 minute mark.
People who keep saying "How can anyone let their car get so bad?" We'll, clearly you don't have children, or pets. In our case, we bought our minivan second hand. It was vacuumed out neatly before we got it, but not detailed, there were stains, etc. We were just grateful to get a well working car for a decent price! This guy really inspires me to get our car detailed! It would be wonderful to see it really clean! Maybe when the kids are a little older...
Anyone complaining about how some people let their cars get bad... Have you never been troubled? Busy? Overwhelmed? No? Your life is super easy and you always find time for tasks that are pretty mundane and not essential to living? OK good luck with that
Thank you! I work 50 hrs a week, three young kids, multiple health appointments, full time IT college, etc.. I don't have time to vacuum out my car every week.
This isn't an excuse at all, don't be such a fucking slob and take care of your shit, people like this don't even deserve to own anything and should live in a cardboard box on the side of the highway....
I like your point about preferring interiors over exterior. In my area there are not a lot of detailers right now and many of the people I talk to don't even know what paint correction is. BUT there are a lot of wealthier stay-at-home parents with diiiiirty interiors. And I can always count on mom-mobiles.

Some might not like a lot of talking but i actually enjoy how you explain everything from the start, it makes me feel like i'm not mindlessly watching some cleaning montage but i'm actually understanding what's going on, what's behind the scene, it helps me with anxiety (block out thoughts in my mind)
five hours sounds about right for that level of build up. The lil steam cleaner seems like a pro tool, and the business advice really resonates. A lot of clients are not looking for perfection because it isn't realistic in their lifestyle, just getting that level of clean compared to the Before is miraculous. Some stains will come out, but you have to judge the amount of damage you can do to the material before you go toiling with it. It'll smell so much better, that's fore sure.
I never thought to use a steamer 🤔 smart. Any ways great video very informative. I never thought watching someone clean/detail a car would be so interesting 👌🏾👍🏾
🐶🐱👼🏼🤵🏻👰🏽👧🏽👦🏻👶🏾 Looking at this car I just see a lot of happy kids laughing and having food fights! Parents in the front laughing and getting their kids to sing along to all their old school music! And maybe a dog in the back drooling on the kids and them in hysterical laughter because one got the dog gob on his/her arm 😂😂😂
really? I saw kids jumping In the backseat with their backpacks on from a day at school and saying hi with a big smile on their face or being taken to the grocery store with their dog or the dog being taken to the vet or the park. I saw a little kid drawing while their mom/grandma drives them somewhere. your perspective must be boring. just a lot of happy events I saw.
Detail Groove limited time frame how much time do you get? I used to be a house keeper wished I love (because I'm not a people person I get shy very easy) but I like to clean but truth be told my first love is cooking
Psssst.... Here's a hint... WD40 takes gum out of fabric... Any fabric SAFELY !!!! It will NOT leave an oil stain AFTER you clean it. I sat at a booth one time where someone had stuck gum under the edge of the table. It must have been fresh cuz my rayon shirt grabbed right on to it and held strong for the distance of 5 booths !!! Yes, I had gum strung from that booth I sat in to my shirt and all 5 booths I walked past. It was the guest in the 5th booth whom had brought it to my attention that I was stringing something along with me. Well that explained the spider web feeling I was having on my arm. Sure enough... I had a HUGE glob of chewed up gum stuck to my favorite brown and white rayon blouse. I went to my moms and showed her. She immediately asked for my blouse. I took it off and gave it to her. She sprayed WD40 on the gum... Rubbed it gently with a terry cloth shop towel and the gum literally just crumbled right off. I washed the lil spot with soap and when it dried.... Voila !!! Couldn't even tell. Ive since used that on carpet, furniture, jeans and hair. Amazing results and super easy. Might help speed things up next time you find gum. You're welcome 😊
90% of the time I don't vacuum cars until the very end unless there's a bunch of pet hair/dirty/crap in my way that I can't use a brush to knock off. It just comes down to efficiency. If I need to vacuum to work more more efficient, I will. If not vacuuming doesn't make a difference to get cleaning, I won't
Always vacuum. Not sure where he was trained. If you dont vacuum you are pushing dirt deeper in the carpet creating more problems. Always vacuum. Doesnt matter if you dont see much dirt. Then again you should vacuum your car out once a month at least. It helps alot.
I have long hair that gets EVERY WHERE. It is much easier to get it up if it’s ruffled up by a brush as it gets caught down in fibers of floor, seats, etc.
I work at VW as a detailer. I've seen some pretty nasty cars and this one is definitely very dirty. It's so interesting to see someone else's method/system ! Love the vid. Very high energy. Keep this up:)
I feel you on cars like these man, I hit them all the time. I find myself using a 1500 dollar 120hp mytee extractor a lot, I see a lot of cars like this in my works, and it's a son of a bitch in such a small town with a depressed economy to charge the right amount when the car wash guys 20 miles up the road will do a shitty job for even less. First off, Floormats are rubber, I'm usually rolling with super degreaser and a brush + a hose. Always works, carpeting if they are nasty and destroyed I pull out a pressure washer and handle it if not, extractor and shampoo. After that, My process starts out with a good vacuum and then I'm automatically hitting the cup holders (You can spend all day with apc a microfiber and a brush going into cup holders, I find pretreating them with hot extractor water before makes the wipe down process a lot more simple) all the things that arent at risk with electronics with hot extractor water then vacuuming them out, after that I'm going wild with saturating the shit out of the dirty carpeting and I use a chemical guys drill brush, I start with carpeting first and seats because that drill brush will be sending dirty water all over the fucking panels, so I usually have to come back and vacuum up all the extras after the detail is done, final steps after cleaning all the seats and carpeting is running through and wiping down all the vinyl. I pull the car out, wash it, wax it and clean up the tires, then I hit the glass. Customer is informed it'll be wet. I'm sorry but steaming and apc on carpets is great if they aren't worn out and nasty, but you need an extractor for jobs like this or else you'll be scrubbing for days. Usual detail about 4-5 hrs of labor at anywhere between 20-30.00 dollars an hour, I'm not always busy due to population up here in the far north but I have my busy season for sure and it's fantastic money for only 20-30 hrs of work a week, plenty of time for whatever lifestyle I prefer. Final inspection and I'm done. It's about the same amount of time for me Detail Groove, up here in Northern Michigan.
That wasn't bad. Not in the least. That amount of """"filth"""" from years? That's a Danm clean car if the customer has kids. I've seen far far worse. Those with over the top clean cars more have no social life or love life / kids...
I bought a car once that me and 2 of my friends had to physically scrape black gooy fuzzy ick off of carpets and seats took a few hours of ick clean out plus another entire weekend to finish but we made it look new. And we never had a steamer we were too young and broke lol This car in this car in the video looks like a peice of cake 💪🤫🤷♂️
Picked up a car from a dealership and the seat has a major stain on the cloth drivers seat and there is dust/dirt everywhere. Some folks would get mad and take it back. I just see it as a learning experience for cleaning future cars. Great video man.
Wait where in Texas are you? I'm in Houston. I need you in my life! Edit: holy crap, just looked you up, and you're 15 minutes from me in Vintage Park! I'm in Cypress! Will be calling soon!
These videos are so satisfying to watch. Just got a used car and am in the process of cleaning it out. I love watching other people do things before I do (((:
These videos have motivated me to spend an hour or more three times a week on detailing my car. I could not do this for a living, especially with how I nitpick everything.
I love how he talks about him picking up trash so it’s easier for his vacuum while he flails the trash around XD I don’t know why I thought it was funny but I laughed
The beauty of a car like this is A) It HAS TO look a lot better after working on it...no way it can look worse B) It makes for a great before and after video LOL
he doesn't have the air compressor he mention on the field like 100 times during the duration of the video. also for a mobile detailer isn't the most time saving and money making tool in a shop i can see it value on the road not really.
I'm completely opposite of you. I hate interiors and love doing exterior. I live in Florida in the heat as well, but I feel like I get hotter inside the car and outside when I'm washing the car at least the hose sprinkles water on me to cool me down. Lol But with all that said, I have a feeling more people would ask for interior services because they can just take the outside to get a simple car wash.
Haha yup- everyone has their own preferences. Eventually I'll start marketing for more higher end paint correction services. For now, I'm focusing on interiors
Detailing is going to a new level. Their are so many great detailing being done. It's an art as well , as a detailer we take pride in working on vehicles.
Dude, me encourage me to drive down to Houston and get me car done while visiting friends. Love the energy and OCD ! Lol! Big respect for the commitment to the hard work.
Prlego if u want really good results for carpets and seats hot water extractor is the way to go if you want decent results and versatility then the steamer is for u
Awesome video, Oscar! You are so right on the interior cleanings. Most people prefer that over anything else. It also makes the most difference in terms of end results, in my opinion. We do these on a daily basis, 99% of the time.
Dang you know what you’re doing I hope you get everything and anything you want in life and accomplish your dreams and goals you seem like a very enthusiastic and happy man good luck
You don’t vacuum the dash first to get the real loose stuff? So that why the steamer doesn’t push all that loose lint/dirt all over the place, everyone’s different..I vacuum everything first with a sturdy brush attachment with a well powered vacuum and do the dash, to be honest on most dashes, just the brush and vacuum and a little bit of dawn/water/car wash with wax mixture is enough and it doesn’t take too much time
Great trick I picked up over the years was to spray the area with my cleaner, work it in with a brush, then use an air gun to blow out the moisture and staining
Love his videos. Couldn’t ever let my car get this way. My two kids are teenagers who I still take everywhere, and both in sports, so trust me, my car gets gross. I also have two dogs that ride with me sometimes, but my car looks brand new. I take at least an hour every Saturday or Sunday, and clean my car. It’s not that hard, or when I’m sitting in traffic, I’ll wipe stuff down. Too many people forget that outside of a house, this is one of the most expensive purchases you’ll make.
Hi, I've recently started detailing, I cleaned a 2018 Tundra last week, the owner complained about some stains that showed up a couple days later, I used super clean with a drill brush, do you recommend using a different apc or what can I do with stains that won't go away, I obviously told the owner that I would redo it, so I would like a suggestion from you, thank you
It really depends on the situation. It could be your process/methods. You also have to manage the cusotmer expectations. you can't promise 100% removal of all the stains.
Think about what you just said. I’m honestly frightened by your judgement on such a small thing in the overall picture of life. I for one, would rather say on my death bed, “ dang, we sure had fun.” Not, “I’m so glad I kept the care so spotlessly clean”
I cannot understand how people let there cars get that fucking bad. I spilt a coffee in a rental car and I lost my shit and went cleaning crazy never mind my own car
Forgot to ask why you don't get a portable canopy or sunshade to give you some shade to work in? Harbor Freight has one for around 60 bucks and it folds away really small.
For one, I have a small HHR Panel. So I have very limited space. Second, the sun is always moving. I would only get so much use out of it. Third, I wouldn't always be able to secure it to the ground. I would not want to put it up without it being secured down (turns into a liability).
I'm assuming you are a mobile detailer! AWESOME! LOVE YOUR WORK! I used a mobile detailer once and the coating on my car began to peel when he finished. Anywho great job.
Great job man! I’m a fellow Houstonian so I’ll drop by if I ever need a detail! Just a tip: use a gorilla pod or flexible tripod so you don’t have to worry about working and filming at the same time. Love your content!!!
You look like you really know what you're doing, great vid ^^! Just a bit weird that you tell us what you "dont" like to do and that you "dont" strive for perfection, not something a client likes to hear :p...
Thanks! I am 100% upfront with the customer to manage their expectations. 3 years of mess I'm cleaning up, if they think I'm going to clean every single last stain to perfection, I'm not the detailer for them. If they want me to make their car look 10x better than the current condition, I can make that happen
It's good to hear that you have customers who understands that. I have been doing this for 5 years and from where I come from if you tell them that, you will lose 90% of your customers. Because they want to hear you are doing a "perfect" job because the guy down the street can promise a "perfect" job. It's good if there are limited amount of "detailers" around. But if there is a bunch of "detailers" who claims they can clean it perfectly, you have a big problem. It's a matter of mentality. So I would word my job very carefully. Can it be cleaned? Yes, the stain can be removed or the stain will be less obvious making your car look like as if you just got your car. It works here. Hahahaha
Hey man I love your videos. I really want to start my own auto detail business I’ve been practicing on family and friends cars and have gotten pretty good but I still have room to improve and these videos are really helpful.
You are awesome !!!!! I wish there were more smart, thorough business people like you. Attention to detail is awesome!!!!!!! Congrats !! Keep it up like this!

I don't understand how many dislikes this video has. He did a REALLY good job. Worth every penny.
Thanks a lot Nick
Haters gonna hate, nothing new. That just let you know your doing something right
because his presentation skills are…unpolished.
People who keep saying "How can anyone let their car get so bad?"
We'll, clearly you don't have children, or pets. In our case, we bought our minivan second hand. It was vacuumed out neatly before
we got it, but not detailed, there were stains, etc. We were just grateful to get a well working car for a decent price!
This guy really inspires me to get our car detailed! It would be wonderful to see it really clean! Maybe when the kids are a little older...
There are water proof car seat covers you can use and machine wash and keep your car seats like new underneath year after year.
Anyone complaining about how some people let their cars get bad... Have you never been troubled? Busy? Overwhelmed? No? Your life is super easy and you always find time for tasks that are pretty mundane and not essential to living? OK good luck with that
Exactly :)
Thank you! I work 50 hrs a week, three young kids, multiple health appointments, full time IT college, etc.. I don't have time to vacuum out my car every week.
Excuses!! But hey more jobs for people who clean cars for a living
Your car must be dirty
This isn't an excuse at all, don't be such a fucking slob and take care of your shit, people like this don't even deserve to own anything and should live in a cardboard box on the side of the highway....
I like your point about preferring interiors over exterior. In my area there are not a lot of detailers right now and many of the people I talk to don't even know what paint correction is. BUT there are a lot of wealthier stay-at-home parents with diiiiirty interiors. And I can always count on mom-mobiles.
Very true!!
I love this guy! It's not very often that you see young people take such pride in their work...well done!
thanks Elizabeth :)

@@DetailGroove Welcome. This is a more detailed list of timestamps.
These type of videos are the best help for viewers and us fellow detailers. Thank you for doing this. We know it adds time= less time for your money.
You're welcome! Glad it's bringing value to you. Anything else you want to see specifically?
Idk how I went from sims 4 speed builds to watching someone making a ugly car look pretty ....
Ahahahahha!
I know this is very late, but that’s exactly how I ended up here as well 😂😂😂😂 I went from The Sim Supply to this 😂🤷🏻♀️
This was in recommendations
Ha ha ha same went from sims videos to this lol.😁
Same
Love this! Thanks for being someone who actually cares about your customers and WANTS to do a quality job, not just take money.
Really nice to see you on the field!
Thanks Erik
Ur one of the best detailing guy on RUclips..
thanks!
You’re amazing! So positive, and respectful.
Thanks Morgan :)
i love cleaning exteriors and interiors of cars plus it’s so satisfying
haha- sure is!
You hit the nail on the head!
I never thought to use a steamer 🤔 smart. Any ways great video very informative. I never thought watching someone clean/detail a car would be so interesting 👌🏾👍🏾
Haha, glad you liked Leo!
🐶🐱👼🏼🤵🏻👰🏽👧🏽👦🏻👶🏾
Looking at this car I just see a lot of happy kids laughing and having food fights! Parents in the front laughing and getting their kids to sing along to all their old school music! And maybe a dog in the back drooling on the kids and them in hysterical laughter because one got the dog gob on his/her arm 😂😂😂
Haha nice one Amy! You're the first person of the 100+ comments to look at it in that perspective
all i see is swamp ass
I live this comment! Your very creative!
Uuuuuuhhhhh all I see is a messy car from probably a messy family
I just found your channel and idk why but I love it. You should have more subscribers.
Thanks for the kind words Joanna!
You deserve a Mr.Detail Reward, wish you lots n lots of success.

I love cleaning jobs. I wish I can find a job like this where I live I'd always be happy
Haha it's A LOT of work! I was sweating non-stop in a crammed area on a very limited time frame
Good tips Latisa :)
Thank you
You're a lifesaver!
Great job Oscar 👍🏻
Thank you again for another “real world” detail job... with real sweat and torn gloves 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hahaha you bet!
Why didn't you vacuum? Isnt it better with that much dirtyness so you can save your towels for harder to get dirt?
90% of the time I don't vacuum cars until the very end unless there's a bunch of pet hair/dirty/crap in my way that I can't use a brush to knock off. It just comes down to efficiency. If I need to vacuum to work more more efficient, I will. If not vacuuming doesn't make a difference to get cleaning, I won't
👍🏻
Always vacuum. Not sure where he was trained. If you dont vacuum you are pushing dirt deeper in the carpet creating more problems. Always vacuum. Doesnt matter if you dont see much dirt. Then again you should vacuum your car out once a month at least. It helps alot.
Franklin Pavon I agree.
I have long hair that gets EVERY WHERE. It is much easier to get it up if it’s ruffled up by a brush as it gets caught down in fibers of floor, seats, etc.
I’m such a clean freak. When I have nothing else to clean at my house, I’ll watch videos like this. So satisfying.
Haha I know right!
I work at VW as a detailer. I've seen some pretty nasty cars and this one is definitely very dirty. It's so interesting to see someone else's method/system ! Love the vid. Very high energy. Keep this up:)
Thanks a lot Deaven! I have a lot of these types of videos :)
Ive seen some pretty filthy interiors but that is nasty!
Honestly, it was bad.. but it wasn't that bad. It comes down to the systems and processes you have in place to handle the conditions!
First off,
Floormats are rubber, I'm usually rolling with super degreaser and a brush + a hose. Always works, carpeting if they are nasty and destroyed I pull out a pressure washer and handle it if not, extractor and shampoo.
After that,
My process starts out with a good vacuum and then I'm automatically hitting the cup holders (You can spend all day with apc a microfiber and a brush going into cup holders, I find pretreating them with hot extractor water before makes the wipe down process a lot more simple) all the things that arent at risk with electronics with hot extractor water then vacuuming them out, after that I'm going wild with saturating the shit out of the dirty carpeting and I use a chemical guys drill brush, I start with carpeting first and seats because that drill brush will be sending dirty water all over the fucking panels, so I usually have to come back and vacuum up all the extras after the detail is done, final steps after cleaning all the seats and carpeting is running through and wiping down all the vinyl.
I mean they probably got kids
I bought a car once that me and 2 of my friends had to physically scrape black gooy fuzzy ick off of carpets and seats took a few hours of ick clean out plus another entire weekend to finish but we made it look new.
And we never had a steamer we were too young and broke lol
This car in this car in the video looks like a peice of cake 💪🤫🤷♂️
Wow. That was crazy. He did such a good job. I wish he lived close to me!
thanks so much Sarah!
Yes you can't make them a new car some people think you can get them one what kind of steamer you have I use a Diamondback
as long as it works :)
Picked up a car from a dealership and the seat has a major stain on the cloth drivers seat and there is dust/dirt everywhere. Some folks would get mad and take it back. I just see it as a learning experience for cleaning future cars. Great video man.
Yep- you can always learn. Thanks David!
In all my years of detailing vehicles, nothing beats 4 hands and 2 experienced minds.
haha- right!
Wait where in Texas are you? I'm in Houston. I need you in my life! Edit: holy crap, just looked you up, and you're 15 minutes from me in Vintage Park! I'm in Cypress! Will be calling soon!
Throw the whole car away.
Ahahah
Lmao
Burn it!!
You did a realy awesome Job! thats not 100% better... It is 1000% better!!!
Thanks for watching!
dude this is perfect most detailers say some about interiors but nice to see someone who enjoys it aswell! , great content ! love it
hahah I sure do enjoy interiors!
I have never seen someone in Mexico who clean like you. 👏🏻
Haha- thanks
I got no interest in detailing or anything.....But your videos are fun to watch.
thanks a lot! haha
You take pride in what you do. 👏❤
You did great!!! I wish you were in NC! I would definitely call you. And you had a positive attitude too! Lol That car was a nightmare. 😂
Haha thanks for watching!
These videos are so satisfying to watch. Just got a used car and am in the process of cleaning it out. I love watching other people do things before I do (((:
Haha great! Good luck on it :)
These videos have motivated me to spend an hour or more three times a week on detailing my car. I could not do this for a living, especially with how I nitpick everything.
Haha well at least it got you going
I love how he talks about him picking up trash so it’s easier for his vacuum while he flails the trash around XD
I don’t know why I thought it was funny but I laughed
haha- well glad you found that funny
I feel that owners who are getting there car deep cleaned should be courteous and take out all there trash
haha, whelp, I'm there to work so... no biggie
Great job man! I do a lot of interiors as well...in Arizona..so I feel your pain in the heat!
Haha oh yeah! You guys are burning up over there too
Keeping Texas clean (atx)
Mad Wax I’m
Ngl
Ayy from Arizona too
Bro i live in Arizona
My dude you're a God! I would pay you a grip to clean my 2 cars like that. I wish I knew what you knew on how to detail like you do
Aha- thanks Issac
The beauty of a car like this is
A) It HAS TO look a lot better after working on it...no way it can look worse
B) It makes for a great before and after video LOL
Save yourself some time and get yourself a Tornador Black. Does a better job and in less time (and you stay cooler than when using a steamer).
Boodieman72 yup!!
@@ProfeCreepyAdventures why do people say yup it sounds stupid and uneducated
he doesn't have the air compressor he mention on the field like 100 times during the duration of the video.
also for a mobile detailer isn't the most time saving and money making tool in a shop i can see it value on the road not really.
I'm completely opposite of you. I hate interiors and love doing exterior. I live in Florida in the heat as well, but I feel like I get hotter inside the car and outside when I'm washing the car at least the hose sprinkles water on me to cool me down. Lol
But with all that said, I have a feeling more people would ask for interior services because they can just take the outside to get a simple car wash.
Haha yup- everyone has their own preferences. Eventually I'll start marketing for more higher end paint correction services. For now, I'm focusing on interiors
And I like detailing engines lol.. we should all get together and fully detail a car
On jobs this bad I use a round up pump sprayer for my APC it saves energy. Give it a try. 👍🏻
I've been meaning to get one! It will def save some time
Yea man especially on floor mats it puts a nice even mist on them
Are there any specifics you recommend or any pump sprayer?
Any should do i got a cheap ACE brand one
Thanks!
Detailing is going to a new level. Their are so many great detailing being done. It's an art as well , as a detailer we take pride in working on vehicles.
Dude, me encourage me to drive down to Houston and get me car done while visiting friends. Love the energy and OCD ! Lol! Big respect for the commitment to the hard work.
damn you really know your stuff! ima check out your other stuff
Haha thanks for the kind words!
Thanks for sharing your cleaning tips. The results are amazing!
Thanks for watching Wendy!
Which brush on your griots machine, that setup looks nice.
You can see all the brushes here: www.autogeek.net/porter-cable-brushes.html
Thanks bro!
It's better to use steam for cleaning interior or the vacuum that injects water then vaccum it?
Prlego if u want really good results for carpets and seats hot water extractor is the way to go if you want decent results and versatility then the steamer is for u
Cleaning my car is so relaxing
i don’t know why but these videos are so fun to watch
haha- thanks Matt
What product are you using too clean the floor mats?
Same as always: steamer, APC 10:1, griot garage polisher w/ brush attachment, microfiber towel
You really like that steamer huh
It's an awesome steamer!
He's cute
Ahaha
Awesome video, Oscar! You are so right on the interior cleanings. Most people prefer that over anything else. It also makes the most difference in terms of end results, in my opinion. We do these on a daily basis, 99% of the time.
Thanks for sharing that! Yep, interiors are my main service
Dang you know what you’re doing I hope you get everything and anything you want in life and accomplish your dreams and goals you seem like a very enthusiastic and happy man good luck
thanks for the kind words Jack!
I love looking clea ing dirty car it is soo satisfying
Haha yup!
man, that interior was awful you knocked it out like a boss though👍
Thanks William!
You don’t vacuum the dash first to get the real loose stuff? So that why the steamer doesn’t push all that loose lint/dirt all over the place, everyone’s different..I vacuum everything first with a sturdy brush attachment with a well powered vacuum and do the dash, to be honest on most dashes, just the brush and vacuum and a little bit of dawn/water/car wash with wax mixture is enough and it doesn’t take too much time
Yeah, everyone has a different process. I'll sometimes just wipe it down before I start cleaning or brush off the dust with my brushes.
You did a really great job on this car and your attitude about work and the customer is awesome to boot! Keep doing what you’re doing! ❤️
Thanks a lot Mary!
Great trick I picked up over the years was to spray the area with my cleaner, work it in with a brush, then use an air gun to blow out the moisture and staining
Good tips!
R.I.P to my ear drums 11:40 🤦♂️😂😂
Lmao, my bad
You don't have instagram?
A personal IG? For my detailing biz? For Detail Groove? Which one?
EITHER ONE OF THEM
I'm inactive, but you can search for Detail Groove on IG
Detail Groove yeah for detailing and stuff. You should use it more
I'm so limited on time and energy lol gotta pick and choose my battles
What kind of steam machine do you have and what kind is that polisher.
Steamer: ruclips.net/video/anj92yJGZFg/видео.html
Polisher: ruclips.net/video/Fmfjtn4tD8Q/видео.html
Thanks :D
Love his videos. Couldn’t ever let my car get this way. My two kids are teenagers who I still take everywhere, and both in sports, so trust me, my car gets gross. I also have two dogs that ride with me sometimes, but my car looks brand new. I take at least an hour every Saturday or Sunday, and clean my car. It’s not that hard, or when I’m sitting in traffic, I’ll wipe stuff down. Too many people forget that outside of a house, this is one of the most expensive purchases you’ll make.
Yep- good tips! That's what I advice my clients
I love how this came out!! I love cleaning my car!!
Thanks Nicole :)
If possible can you post reactions of your customers?
Haha probably not. A bit intrusive and uncomfortable for the customer.. having a big ol camera pointed at them
Canon 70D with a Rode shotgun mic
Detail Groove just blur the face out.
Why don't you use an extractor?
I'm getting the results I need with a steamer, one less item to haul around, limited space in my van
extractor would get this job done in half the time.
I have to buy some rubber covers for my car floor.
Yup!
Not sure why so many dislikes but you did a great job.
How do people let their car get that bad, my god have some pride in what you own
Ehhh- life gets in the way. I've had the same in other areas of my life (aka taking care of my dog)
Ahaha- yep!
Thanks for the kind words!
Great job man! I’m a fellow Houstonian so I’ll drop by if I ever need a detail! Just a tip: use a gorilla pod or flexible tripod so you don’t have to worry about working and filming at the same time. Love your content!!!
Thanks a lot Josh! And I have a fully Joby setup. Trust me, it's not any easier in a car
Pro tip: always buy your cars with leather seats
Haha- it does help
Roll the windows down when you cleaning the dorr
Door
Good tip!
The Killer Cub how will people who know nothing about cleaning interiors know what’s going on then
You look like you really know what you're doing, great vid ^^!
Detail Groove thanks for responding ^^! Great 2 hear that you have a clear vision of what you're doing. I'm going to subscribe, keep em up ;)!
I really want to start my own auto detail business I’ve been practicing on family and friends cars and have gotten pretty good but I still have room to improve and these videos are really helpful.
glad I could help Zach :)
You are awesome !!!!! I wish there were more smart, thorough business people like you. Attention to detail is awesome!!!!!!! Congrats !! Keep it up like this!
Thanks so much for watching!
