Late to the party but I love what you had to say. My son and I train on a regular basis with our Byrnas inside and outdoors around the house to make sure we will be ready should need to use our launchers. We also have an Umarex 40 Joule HDX shottie and that will always be the first line of defense in the house when possible. I have a Glock 9mm that my brother sent me from his collection this past summer after we left California for Arizona. I've also trained my son on the use of the 9mm in case he ever has to use it to defend himself, my wife, or grandma if I'm not home. Hopefully he never has to, but I want him to know how to load it and use it properly if it ever happens. There's a pretty good chance that I might also invest in some Pavashot concussion NPDDs (165+ decibels) as well in the near future as I've seen them in action and they are quite disorienting and distracting to an aggressor which can buy you those extra seconds needed to get the upper hand. Thank you for making informitive and entertaining videos for all of us in the LTL community to watch and learn from.
Nice commentary. For me I don't fall for the next best launcher mentality but I know that some do make it a hobby and can't control themselves. I dry fire train with a T4E replica to save money and to create the muscle memory. The criminals are carrying firearms, so we have to be ready for any real world worst-case scenario. I love a Less Lethal first approach and the legally-wise move of carry less lethal options whenever possible. But it's not a wise decision to say I'm foregoing all firearms. They are ubiquitous in the USA. I realize that some cannot own firearms but most in the USA can and should invest in them and make sure they are training and insured.
Thanks. I’m not sure it’s wisdom. It’s just good education I received. Remember A smart man learns form his mistakes A wise man learns from others mistakes lol I’m barely smart 🤣🤣
Thank you for some common sense talk .. one of the main reasons I became interested in Less Lethal was based upon much of this video. Killing someone, justified or not, is not something I would be prepared for.
Great points! I have some visual issues, although I would like to get a real firearm and some good training, but I don't trust my sight. That's why I took the alternative of less lethal HDR 50. and other goodies as well. I will share your video with my friends! Thank you for your knowledge!
This was a great video. Your detailed information helped me convince my wife to carry one for herself. She doesn’t want to carry a firearm. I feel better now that she will be able to defend herself with a less lethal. I also signed her up for a firearms safety course . More for control and trigger safety.
Yes, you may use a LL launcher in "self defense" within California. However, don't ever shoot/hit someone in the back, whether with a LL, a firearm, bow/arrow, knife, whatever. etc. Court would be much more lenient with LL, but a lawyer may convince a perp to sue even over LL wound. It all depends on the judge, the prosecuting attorney and the perp. In San Francisco area, you'd be hosed! And also, don't get caught with an LL launcher with anything but "non-gas" projectiles.
greetings from germany! because our weapon laws are pretty strict, i got a co2 Glock gen5 T4E, and im totally happy with it. Loading paint or powder, to play paintball and got my emergency mags with rubber and steel at home for defense.
Facts! Your preaching to the choir. I tell people non of us in the hobby will ever make up the money we spent. I try to juggle this with my other hobbies and it ain’t easy 🤣🤣but it’s fun
Excellent video with real world points and examples. I think we are in good shape legal wise with 50 joules are less, in terms of the damage it will do. Launchers that look heavily modified are vulnerable, especially in a civil law suit. This is definitely true for conceal carry. At home things probably could be made to look stock in minutes, if not seconds, if they might be looked at, or confiscated as evidence. Even here in the socialist republic of CA, you can conceal carry a launcher. It must be "concealed", however, so no one can tell it is there. You can't brandish, to ward off criminals. You can't pull it out at all, without firing, because you are faced with great bodily harm. Good stuff! Keep it up.
Less lethals are educated decisions. Firearms are also educated decisions but too many folks think you can use lethal force at will without consequence. “It’s my right”….well we will see how you do in court bud. Great content 👍🏼
100%. License to own does not mean license to use or kill. In my opinion Less Lethal is by far the much safer choice. It can save not only lives but livelihood.

Thank you for watching. I hope we never have to use these things to defend ourselves. Stay safe

Yes very well put. My go to Conceal Carry is 10mm I like it because it comes in a wide variety of loads. I do like Horady Critcal Duty the most
Amazing points, Gregorio. Very informative and enjoyable! Thank you.
Thank you for watching
Very informative and valuable information. All facts and very accurate
You speak great wisdom. I practice less lethal in my living room every Sunday.
Thanks. I’m not sure it’s wisdom. It’s just good education I received. Remember

lol I’m barely smart 🤣🤣
Also I will pay for the gun insurance this week.
My friend just got it now!
That's a perfect analogy! Great info too.
I'm glad you said what you did I'm glad someone finally has some intelligence.
This was all great discussion. I subbed. And good point about not sticking out like a sore thumb. Be the gray man.

good info, sub'd.
Intent - non lethal with pointy projectile and moded launcher can = bad intention.
Yes. I totally agree
Good morning from Belgium... Let me first enjoy my first mug of coffee and then I have time to follow seriously ;-)
Good morning

Yes each state has different laws.
Also consider California's "Castle Doctrine" for more info. Other states have the same.
@@davebenner3276 yes PA has it too

Those T4E .43 are exact replicas. There are some great pepperballs out there for them and alien gear holsters are fantastic.

I dont want to accidentally eat pepper myself in my home, this is why i reluctantly use pepperballs indoors
This hobby is an expensive bag of chips!

It’s fine only if you can carry both simultaneously.

You ain’t gonna want a multitool when you gotta put a hole thru sumthin
