Unfortunately in the state of California. Kinetic rounds are the only "legal" ammunition that can be used for " on the street" self-defense. Pepper balls and CS balls are "illegal " for the civilian population to use. Hence, if the Mercury Rising, Introbuster stays reliable and maintains power. It would be the number one choice here in California.
KImber pepper blaster fires the bottom first then the top. First shot aim forehead second shot point of aim. I have several of them and fired several. I agree about it is my close up choice. I have the JPX 2 and 4 for creating/keeping distance. I want to get a pepper ball launcher as well.
I agree with you about the Byrna SD being good for chemical rounds, but its also not bad with the kinetic rounds if you're mixing the two. The LTL Bravo is like the Intubuster in that it has a metal frame on the top and has better internals than the Alfa. The Charlie is metal as well and will have stronger internals for higher power shots. The Bravo is 18-20 Joules and the Charlie is suppose to be 20-24 Joules. I use the LTL Bravo as my EDC because it has higher joules than the Byrna SD despite being a .50 cal launcher. I'm looking forward to the Charlie once it arrives in the US and Jon tests the launcher to see what it can really do. I still want to get the Intrubuster if its still available in January as that's the soonest I'll be able to scrounge up the money for it. Thanks for giving us a listnof launchers to keep an eye on. I did go check out Less Lethal Bandit and subbed to him.
Fantastic review, many thanks. I'm new to less lethal. Just received a Salt S2 but also ordered a Mercury Rise Intrubuster as it went on sale and hear is even more powerful out of the box. I don't know that I need both? Not sure. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!!!
@@thepepperballprepperlessle6486 Thanks. Really starting to enjoy you videos. Test them hard. I'm in a fixed income bought a Byrna, 5 shots trigger wouldn't reset. Few extras,$715.00. You never actually stated that the kinetic marker you prefer and showed on this video is the Mercury Rise IntruBuster. You simply referred to it as "this thing".

No mention of the Gavle?
@@MultiSkyman1 I can’t really mention it yet because I don’t have any experience with it

why don't you get the Gavle bro 🤔
