So last question if using defensively how long can the tank rest fully charge without rupture or becoming a Hazzard? Just a question but you said concealed so if you carried it how viable is that idea?
The tank is make to be full pressurized indefinitely. It’s definitely viable as a carry option, although it’s a little large, it can definitely still be concealed 👍🏽
How did you thered the gun with 5000 psi? To do that your bottle needs at least 5300 psi. Bottles ares max rated at 4500 psi. Did you overfilled your bottles by 800 psi?
Some carbon fiber bottles or tanks can fill to 5500 psi. Scott air pak 5.5 is one brand I know that can do that pressure full time without issues. Anything higher would have to be made with steel for now. until higher working pressures like 5000+ would be found in lower price point lower tier airguns it would still be a while until all cf bottles are made for 5500. There's probably others that I don't know about but currently most fill to 4500. Same situation with airgun compressors. Going higher on pressure gets you more velocity and energy potential. For guns with a smaller air tube higher fill pressure also means more air volume and more shots per fill.
@@ThePredator2k They just passed the law for the EU to sell 7500psi tanks. The US is supposed to follow suit shortly. AEA has already came out with a gun that has 7500psi tanks ,they are just awaiting the US approval. Not sure what material they are using but it looks like a normal (non CF) tank.
Question to anyone familiar with these: Thinking of this in self defense terms, how do the seals hold up over time? As in, you'd need to leave this thing aired up and ready to go at all times, but as far as I'm aware anything that holds air like a compressor or pellet gun, etc... leaving them aired up with destroy the seals over time making them useless. ??
How does that compare to 9mm and 22 cal subsonic? For head shots at say one and 2 meters. And does the air charge bleed off when being stored 1, 2 & 3 days, Finally what states do pcps gave legal issues, requirements.
It’s way less power than a 9mm.. it’s pretty close to the power of a subsonic 22lr though. Air won’t leak down at all and will stay fully pressurized indefinitely. These are considered “firearms” in states New Jersey and Illinois, but some cities (like NYC) also have restrictions on them. Best bet is to look at your local laws before buying
@@AtmoTacOutdoorsNo they're not. The definition of firearm is a weapon that uses an EXPLOSIVE CHARGE to push a projectile. You can't manipulate the set definition of something just to put restrictions on it🙄
@@erichvonmanstein6876 I agree completely, these are 100% not firearms. Illinois and other states that have restrictions on them are acting outside of the constitution and also have skewed the actual definition of a firearm.
63fpe is what the fbi considers lethal, your first shot on that 50 grain pellet hits that mark! thought honestly i think you could make a lethal shot with less than 63fpe.
Id love to see a video of how it looks trying to conceal carry it. Very little info on it. Its either this or a grimburg gavle, but that thing is HUGE.
@@AtmoTacOutdoors How does it hold air indefinitely with no leaking or damage to seals etc...? Have you left it stored fully pressurized over long periods of time? I'm very curious how that works, as other air storage devices like compressors and pellet guns etc, will become damaged by leaving them aired up over time.
Do you have a recommendation for the most bang for your buck? I’m looking for a self defense air gun that will put out lethal force if needed. I’m a felon due to some bad check charges from 12 years ago so I can’t own a regular gun, but I’ve got a wife and a child I want to be able to protect if needed, and these are legal for me to carry in my state.
Hmm, I think Wisconsin does have some laws regarding concealing them. You might want to get some legal advice specific to where you live before you do it just to be safe
A regular shop compressor won’t work… this guns max fill pressure is 5,000PSI. you will need a high pressure PCP compressor or hand pump. There’s lots of 4500psi compressors for around 200 bucks on amazon or eBay, or you can get a hand pump if you don’t mind a little workout
This is the compressor I like to use www.ebay.com/itm/224380540464?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=8vnkh760qh-&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=fp0z6wetray&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY and this is a good hand pump a.co/d/i0dSvmY

If i do shoot slugs i find i have to fill the mag every other space to prevent it from jamming. What slugs have u found that work good and do u have any advice. Thanks love ur videos.
Get some NSA 38.5gr slugs, but make sure you choose the option that is sized .254 because .250 sized slugs always jam. NSA also has a 33.8gr available in .254 that also work great. Also get a pen and push each slug into the magazine and you’ll never have a jam 👍

5,000 psi air source may be difficult to come by for a lot of people. The cylinder diameter of the Huben air pistol design, as opposed to a stacked magazine/box magazine, or even a lower-shot-count...thus a smaller diameter, cylindrical magazine, seems like it would create too much bulk in width to be truly "concealable" with any degree of comfort. Plus, due to the short thickness of that large diameter cylinder, compared to say that of any firearm like Ruger SP101 .357" cylinder, with its rounded recoil shield at the rear, seems like it would be "snaggy" during a draw. That's the only thing I don't like about the full size Huben air pistol. The cylinder diameter.
1800 isnt worth it. I would pay 1800 if it was a kit that had 2 barrels and tanks so you could switch between a short or full length version whenever you want. If they could do that that would be cool. Idk why they dont at least sell the bartel and tank so someone could make their long one a shorty. It would be nice to be able to pump down the size from a big ol 95ftlb 22lr out a rife lemgth barrel long standard huben gk1 that u need to carry in a fairly large sling bag to a shorter version with about thr power of 22lr out of a pistol barre tht can be put in a phanny pack or whatever wnd more easily concealed

That would be great! my theory is though, that a pressure vessel needs to be cylindrical. That wouldn’t leave very much room for air volume while still being a comfortable grip
Now, in my country the max is only 7,5 Joule. Lmao, how they limit this? There are separate parts they change in it, or what? What if I order one, and the customs stops it, and they ask questions? :/
I’m not sure how that works with this particular Gun honestly… but I know a lot of countries with those restrictions can still get them. maybe KrazCool could give you some info on that 👍🏽
There is an adjustment screw that goes through the bottom of the handle, on the Euro versions they put a rubber block in the way of the adjustment screw after adjusting it to 5-7 FPE or whatever the legal amount is. Very easy to take the rubber block out.... if you visited another country where that is legal of course 😉

Great video bro easy to understand and very informative… Also, about your air gun, the Byrna, Salt gun, Sabre, Tipmann AND pepperball TCP are air guns that are less powerful than the gun you have in this video, and EVEN THEY CAN KILL…. They are LESS lethal, NOT NONE lethal. If used incorrectly, especially if you take a byrna and pop someone in the head at point blank range with a fresh CO2, that’s death..
@@PatLyoutubepage thank you i did found it. 374 Bar
@@ThePredator2k yep 374 bar is 5500 psi
@@PatLyoutubepage but this bottles are not available in Germany
@@AtmoTacOutdoors do I smell LAWSUIT coming?! I mean really, it's NOT ok for them to do this. If we just let them where will it stop?
Temple shot, skull is thin 3-4 mm
63fpe is what the fbi considers lethal, your first shot on that 50 grain pellet hits that mark! thought honestly i think you could make a lethal shot with less than 63fpe.
Id love to see a video of how it looks trying to conceal carry it. Very little info on it. Its either this or a grimburg gavle, but that thing is HUGE.
Is Huben going to put out a short version or is it going to be custom only?
I don’t think the factory will any time soon, these are custom
Nice one my friend. I was wondering how many turns you opened the power screw?
Can the gun hold the co2 for as long as you want? Or do you have to shoot it soon after you fill???
There’s no co2, it’s high pressure air (PCP) yes it will hold air indefinitely with no leakage
@@AtmoTacOutdoors So you have to carry around a 20 pound air compressor if you want to use it, or could you use a small hand pump on the fly??
Yeah you could use a hand pump or a mini hpa tank
The defender switch is crazy but maybe worth it considering they don’t make the defender anymore
So you can carry concealed without a permit??
Absolutely! Check your state laws though some states are a little weird
@@AtmoTacOutdoors I tried and couldn’t find anything I’m in Wisconsin
Hmm, I think Wisconsin does have some laws regarding concealing them. You might want to get some legal advice specific to where you live before you do it just to be safe
In florida u can carry any concealed weapon without permit....but as a felon I can carry an air pistol. Not considered a firearm
Where did you get your huben modified? How much did it cost?
krazkool.com does it all
My Huben is in the mail and hasn't arrived yet....can I link this gun up to a standard large shop size compressor in my millwork shop ?
You gotta try some ZAN and AEA pellets, I love ZAN slugs.

No .30 caliber?
Hey i’ve had mine for awhile now. I’ve stopped shooting slugs out of it because i can’t find a slug that doesn’t jam.
I shoot the zan .38 grain 253 slugs. No jams yet. How fast are you firing? I know that can have an effect.
Hey how are you tethered at 5,000 psi? I don't have a tank but have been researching. Haven't found anything that has a 5,000 psi capacity. Can you say where you got that, how you're doing that or drop a link to where you got it? Thanks

Google 👍
It will ship to most countries that have restrictions, but it will be a lower power version. With some slight tinkering, you can remove the power limiter though…

I have an airgun pistol that fires metal BBs but that isn't even anywhere near as powerful as this, I wish I had something like this instead, seems really good
It's a pity that one like this don't arrive here in Brasil
Where can you purchase these
1800 isnt worth it.
Military classifies deadly projectile as anything that penatrates 3/4ply.
.75 inch plywood is the test. Nxt test up imo is compare to 22lr. Pine is a fine test after the 3/4ply test. I luv airguns but they pricy n barely better than louis n clark days.

Also, anything with an FPS pass 400, has penetration capabilities, something I noticed that air gun was going WAY beyond… you may as well go all out and get a real gun at that point 😐.
Thanks man!
so is this a version to buy or not?
