This is very helpful for someone intermediate, that knows a lot of various functions of blender but struggles to use them all together to achieve photorealism. Thanks for the video.
My PC is threadripper 1950x, RTX 3060 12gb, 64 Gb RAM. I rendered this scene in almost 6k size with GPU circles ~20-25 min, full hd ~10 min. (1024 samples)
Can you upload this scene to your patreon? My lighting and fog look so different. If I set my volume scatter to .04 it is like a thick block of fog. It would really help to dive into a blender scene you've made to see why mine looks so different!
The density of volume also depends on of global scale and scale of the volume cube. Maybe you have the wrong scale then the volume scatter may work not like on my video. I can`t upload the full scene due to the copyrighting of 3D models in this scene, but I can upload a part with fog if you need this one this week. If you are a subscriber to my Patreon, you will get a notification.

This compositing node setup is great!
Please please please, make a full tutorial start to finish on a simple product. I will recommend your channel to everyone I know.
Ok, I will see what I can do for it)

@@cgslav Yes that would be great! And that is fine to remove the copyrighted models, that would still be super helpful. I will subscribe right now :)

How did you hide the actual geometry? At the light part
I guess you mean Show Overlays, find this button bisides Viewport Shading buttons, but it works when geometry Display As Bounds in object properties.
@@cgslav I think I got it, thanks. When I look at images you received, I can't believe it was done in blender. So great and realistic...
What transition effect did you use?
What do you mean?
AGX or Filmic?
Filmic
this is the worst thing I've seen today
