- This time, we are sizing up two bucket brigade choruses from the biggest names in pedal the game, the Boss Waza Craft CE-2W and the Ibanez Chorus Mini.
Truthfully, the Ibanez Mini was much juicier with an enveloping swirl, while the Boss Waza sounded strident with a harsher swirl. The options may be nice to have but just don't have the tone and lush feel of the Ibanez. Thanks for the comprehensive demo, you saved me a hundred bucks!

Great comparison! I have both, one thing I noticed though, is that the Ibanez causes a slight drop in the low frequencies of the main signal when engaged, while the Boss doesn’t .
Where I live, I could buy 3 Ibanez Chorus Minis for the price of the Boss. Also, now all pedals are made with SMDs, the large Boss enclosure is just wasted space. An old trick to get stereo chorus is: split the output of your guitar/synth/whatever, run one cable straight into your audio interface, run the other cable into the chorus. Pan hard left and right in your DAW, and voila, you have a wide stereo effect!

I own the big purple chorus and I also have the wazza craft boss chorus, the Ibanez wins on tone and cutes more, the boss one doesn’t even get any close at all. Ibanez wins
I have both, but prefer the Ibanez (though I prefer the original CE-2 to either of them). Ibanez has a slight mid-hump btw
Ibanez Soundtank CS5 sounds even better, IMO, just picked up one in mint condition for $50 AUD, which is about $35 USD. The Ibanez mini chorus is somewhere between $130-170 AUD, Boss CE-2W is way over $300!

The Mix knob is mandatory, especially if you use distortion with the chorus. Hence why even a mooer ensemble king is still better than the Boss now.

I don't know how but you made all modes on CE-2 sound like vibrato. Phase cancelation of stereo mode? Very bad video. Just waist of time.
