    Just a suggestion for future videos. When he's talking about the features of the rifle, don't say "okay" every 2 seconds. It interrupts the guy and makes it hard for the viewer to listen. Keep up the good work!

    I met Collin at a shoot sponsored by Bergara and their rifles are great! My son and I shot with two models and we were impressed.

    I have less then 500 round in a 7PRC carbon wilderness and I’m seeing fire cracking. Maybe it’s a bad barrel? Doesn’t make me want to buy another one!!!

      I have a B-14 HMR in 308. When I first got the gun running the bolt was like scraping a rake over a gravel road. The idiots at Bergara laser engraved a QR code on the bottom of the bolt and the edges were sharp and scraping inside the receiver. I was able to fix this with some 3000 grit sandpaper but the thing doesn't shoot worth a damn. I've tried dozens of different loads in it but with the best load I get about 1.2 MOA on average for 5-shot groups. My Tikka CTR, on the other hand, averaged < 0.5 MOA with the first load I tried in it and with every bullet I've tried so far. I sent the rifle back to Bergara. All they did was retorque the action screws (which were already torqued to their spec with a calibrated torque wrench before sending the rifle in), fire a couple of 3-shot groups through it (one of which was 0.98 MOA), and send it back to me without even telling me they were sending it. I had to pay the courier to hold it or it would have been returned to sender. In any case, I'm not impressed with Bergara's products, customer service, or what they consider acceptable precision out of a "match" rifle and definitely won't be purchasing another rifle from them.

    Nope don’t like it! Shoot the MG lite 2-3 times a month for load development for clients. I don’t own one cause I think they are lacking with my real world experience with rifles. It’s like paying too much for something. No thumb rest that’s an extra cost the folder doesn’t lock. Taking away bipod space makes it less stable. Just seeing and listening it’s not for me or for most the guys I work for.

    Bergarbage! They sold me a B-14 HMR in 308 that is easily the least accurate rifle I've ever owned. They also won't do a damn thing to fix it.

      Have you at least looked at the pillars in the stock for overspray.... cleaning the pillars and refitting/torquing the action halved my group size.... took 10mins...

    • @michaelhill6451
      @michaelhill6451 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@billtaylor2317 Yes, I did get rid of the sloppy overspray Bergara left on the pillars (I guess putting some painter's tape over the pillars was too much effort for them). I've had the piece of trash for over 2 years, tried dozens of different loads in it, bedding the stock, multiple rails, rings, and scopes, etc., This thing averages maybe 1.2 MOA for 5-shot groups with the best load I've found for it. My Tikka CTR, on the other hand averages under 0.5 MOA for 5-shot groups with basically every bullet I've tried in it.

    • @michaelhill6451
      @michaelhill6451 4 месяца назад +1

      @@1valg Yep. I sent the gun in to Bergara to have it fixed twice. They didn't fix it either time and the second time they sent it back with corrosion all over the bolt and some in the barrel as well. I asked for my money back because they damaged my gun and they said I was liar and damaged it myself. Lol. Anyway, I was able to sell it for only about $50 less than I paid for it originally. I'm never going to make the mistake of buying a Bergara again.

    Bergara = Junk Plus Poor Support

    • @michaelhill6451
      @michaelhill6451 7 месяцев назад +3

      Agreed. I have a B-14 HMR in 308. When I first got it running the bolt was like scraping a rake over gravel and they had sprayed the pillars inside the stock with paint. The idiots at Bergara had laser engraved a QR code on the bottom of the bolt. I fixed the bolt with some 3000 grit sandpaper (by knocking the sharp edges off the engraving) and removed the paint from the pillars. Anyway, I've had the gun for over 2 years and tried dozens of loads in it. The best load I could find averages about 1.2 MOA for 5-shot groups. I sent the gun in to Bergara and all they did was retorque the action screws (which had already been torqued to their spec with a calibrated torque wrench), fire a couple 3-shot groups through it (one of which was 0.98 MOA) and sent it back to me without even telling me they were sending it. I was away on vacation and I had to pay the courier to hold it or it would have been returned to sender. My Tikka CTR on the other hand never had any issues whatsoever and averaged 0.5 MOA for 5-shot groups with the first load I tried and with every bullet I've tried in it so far. Bergara = Bergarbage. Maybe their products used to be good, I'm not sure, but the rifle I received from them is junk.

      That's funny that we both bought the same garbage Bergara rifles, sent them in, was told they where fixed, found out they still shot like shit and ended up getting Tikka CTR rifles that where AMAZING, right out of the box! Thanks for wasting my hard earned red money and time Bergara, never again!
